“Jennifer has been amazing! She walks my baby with patience and enthusiasm. She leaves detailed messages and pictures after each walk. Her years of experience are reassuring as well.”

“Alison was AMAZING! She was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about how dogs play + walk. Benny is tired as can be, and that’s a happy pup to me! Will definitely be asking for her assistance again. :)”

About: Hi! My name is Melody. I’m a big animal lover and have been taking care of cats for over 9 years. I’ve had my own cat since he was 2 months old — now he’s over 9, healthy, and full of energy! I love playing with cats!🐈🐈🐈 I’m used to caring for multiple cats and know how to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.🐱🐱🐱 I’m based in the 98004 area, and my schedule is very flexible, so I’m happy to work with you on timing. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and give them lots of attention!🐶🐶🐱🐱 Since I work from home, I have plenty of time to give pets attention throughout the day. It’s easy for me to take breaks to play with cats, feed them, or just sit together and watch TV. I also love giving them little treats like catnip when they enjoy it. Pet care naturally fits into my routine, and I always make sure they feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for.😘😘 I visit cats in client’s own homes and make sure cats feel comfortable. I follow their usual routines, give fresh food and water, clean the litter box, and spend time playing or cuddling if they want. I love making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I also take photos and videos during each visit, because I know owners miss their pets and want to see how they’re doing. Before I leave, I always double-check the doors and windows to make sure everything is secure and the home is exactly how you left it.

“My Aussie Freya can be very selective about which humans she likes so hiring someone to help take care of her while i’m gone is. little stressful. I found Hunter on here and thought she would be a good fit and I was right! Freya was snuggling up and asking for belly rubs from her within 5 minutes of meeting Hunter! She provided me daily updates along with pictures of their walks and I really appreciated seeing that some of the days they got in some good miles since Freya needs that energy release. I will definitely be reaching out to Hunter in the future 💜”

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals of all kinds, including large-breed dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I have especially extensive experience with large dogs and senior pets. I recently lost my Doberman Pinscher at nearly 15 years old, and we currently have a 14-year-old Siberian Husky. As a stay at home mom, I have a flexible daytime schedule and am home much of the day. My routine mainly revolves around school drop-offs, pick-ups, and after-school activities, which leaves me largely available during the morning and early afternoon when many pet owners are away at work. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and pets who need a little extra attention throughout the day. I’ve spent my life around animals and understand that every pet has different boundaries, routines, and comfort levels. I’m comfortable with large breeds, senior dogs, crates, mobility needs, and pets requiring extra care. Our home has fully fenced front and back yards, indoor and outdoor security cameras, and baby gates that allow us to safely separate pets from other dogs, children, or food when needed. We also have dog beds, toys, and plenty of clean water bowls available for their comfort. Our children have been raised around large dogs and understand dog safety, including respecting a pet’s space around food, beds, crates, and while resting. I’m happy to follow each owner’s normal routine and household rules so their pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.
“Five stars just isn’t enough for these great walkers. They took care of my dog while I was sitting with my wife in labor for three days. My dog was sick, and apparently there were some issues I wouldn’t even have known they did such a great job”

About: While I’m new to the professional platform, I’ve spent years caring for my own dogs and helping friends with theirs. This blend of personal and informal experience means I bring both heart and reliability to the job. Having a 6‑year‑old American Labrador of my own means I feel what pet parents feel. I know the worry, the guilt, and the hope that your dog will be loved just as much in your absence. That empathy shapes the way I care for every dog I meet. So, availability per pet's requirement is my key. I am a full time caregiver. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine because I am fully focused on it and not working anywhere else. Caring for dogs is my primary commitment, so my days are structured around giving them consistent attention, companionship, and a stable routine. When I’m caring for a pet in their own home, my priority is to maintain the comfort, routine, and environment they already know and love. I treat your home and your pet’s space with the same respect and care I give my own. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, medication needs, and any special routines your pet relies on. Because I’m fully focused on pet care and not working anywhere else, I’m able to give your dog consistent attention throughout the day, whether that means playtime, exercise, or simply being present so they never feel lonely. I also keep communication open with you, providing updates, photos, and honest check‑ins so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your time away stress‑free by giving your dog reliable, loving care right in the comfort of their own home.
About: I’m experienced in spending quality time with dogs and helping them feel at ease in new environments. I take a calm, attentive approach and enjoy walks, playtime, and relaxed companionship. I’m mindful of routines, boundaries, and each dog’s individual needs, and I focus on creating a safe, positive experience. I’m home full time and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and care throughout the day. I’m able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s needs. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe environment. I supervise interactions, follow routines closely, and make sure pets are comfortable at all times. I’m attentive to safety, hygiene, and clear communication with owners throughout the stay.
“Xinya is very friendly and clearly loves dogs. She took great care of Bobo, and Bobo came back very happy and satisfied after the walk. Would definitely book again!”

“I really appreciated Toki for taking care of my dog. He's really experienced and reliable dog walker. And he's really good at communication. We will ask him for help in the future and we would recommend him to others.”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and have been raising my own Golden Retriever for over 5 years. Caring for my dog has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, basic grooming, and understanding different personalities and energy levels. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine, provide plenty of attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I'm available for dog walks and drop-in visits after 12:00 PM on weekdays and anytime on weekends. For house sitting, I'm available from Friday through Sunday and am happy to stay overnight in your home to care for your pets and keep them comfortable in their familiar environment. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I'm committed to providing attentive, dependable care in your pet's home. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always follow the routine and instructions provided by their family. Whether I'm stopping by for a visit, taking a walk, or staying overnight, I make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. For dogs, I provide walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime or quiet companionship, depending on their personality. I'll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. At this time, I provide care in my clients' homes and do not offer boarding in my own home.
About: I've been around cats and dogs most of my life and have a deep love and affection for them. As well, I recently started volunteering at Seattle Humane. I'm currently doing this part time, so I'm pretty flexible on availability on weekdays between Monday-Thursday. Though, for drop-ins, my clearest availability is between 8am-2pm. But again, I’m flexible. I can do overnights between 5pm-9am. I try to bring a calm, kind demeanor to the environment to put the cat(s) at ease; I will scoop the litter box, feed them, and if they show interest, play with them, and if not, I give them their space!
“Jasmin is amazing with my pup! I love being able to just trust her at any time to take care of him and making sure his training doesn't regress because she's so attentive and passionate”

“Very communicative and punctual. Flexible timing wise as well if needed! Very much recommended, our dog loves walks with them and they are very considerate in general!”

“HIGHLY recommend Jackie. She was great with Riley, and communicated well with me. Super friendly and responsive. Didn't worry at all about Riley while I was at work because I knew Jackie would be there. Would hire her again for sure if/when the opportunity arises.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Beaux Arts Village
James took great care of Rex, he went above and beyond! He is not only is reliable, he’s also genuinely caring person. He really loves and cares for Rex like his own. He keeps me updated on how the walks went. James fed Rex his meals and gave him company while Rex eats. I feel completely at peace leaving Rex with James, as I know he’s in great , loving and reliable hands. Thank you, James.🙏🏼

Akiva was a great dog walker. He worked on getting to know my dog and meeting his needs. Always punctual, he gave Yofi the full hour walk as requested. Akiva knows a lot about dog behavior and got to know Yofi before he took him out. Akiva and Yofi had a productive "meet and greet" before accepting this task. My dog has a few quirks that Akiva handled professionally. He was also very kind with Yofi. I recommend Akiva wholeheartedly.

Victoria is a fantastic walker and person. She always texts when she’s on her way, is punctual, provides multiple text and photo updates, and never fails to take my dog on a fun adventure every time they go on a walk. Whenever my dog comes home after a walk with Victoria, she has the biggest smile on her face. As an owner, Victoria always seems to strive to assuage any of my nerves and has been a joy to work with! So glad we found her; she’s the best.

Taylor was a phenomenal dog walker! Our dog loved her inmediately and we felt 100% confident that our giant goofball was in excellent, capable hands. She is experienced and flexible with our dog's needs and looking out for his body language and reactive signals. We look forward to working with her again! She was great!!

Daniela is outstanding! She truly has a love of animals and engaged immediately with my two pups with skill and enthusiasm, catering to their separate personalities and needs with ease. She is kind and considerate and both dogs immediately adored her. I highly recommend Daniela, thank you!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
