“I really appreciated Wendy for how patient she was to comfort our puppy and take her for walks. Wendy is so reliable and she left messages, photos and notes for every walk. I’d recommend Wendy for your puppies!!”

“Allexis is the best dog walker I've ever had! She is so communicative, kind, caring and flexible. My dog has struggled with some big life changes and transitions we've been going through and Allexis has been patient and loving with her. I've seen a huge difference in my dog's demeanor since Allexis and I've so grateful!”

About: I’ve had (and loved) pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve always especially felt a connection to dogs, and have a great deal of experience with them. I worked in dog grooming while getting my degree in biology at the University of Washington, where I worked will all different breeds and ages of dogs. I’m used to working with the smallest to largest breeds, in addition to young puppies to seniors who require extra care and medications. I’ve done extensive pet sitting for animals of all kinds over the years. I’ve volunteered and fostered for the humane society, helping animals too young or sick for adoption grow and get well. I also worked on socialization of shelter animals, helping to boost their chances of adoption. I currently am a stay-at-home mom with one son in high school and a daughter in pre-school. I have ample time to tailor my day to your dog’s needs! I have a very large fully fenced backyard for your pup to roam, plus one friendly dog of my own. Your dog would have the run of most of the house, and i can adjust things to your preferences/ the pup’s needs. Our family enjoys walks, and love the nearby dog park and hiking trails!
“We booked this dog walk with the intention of getting to know Teresa, so that we could book her as needed for future trips out of town. She is great at what she does. And despite the meet-and-greet intent, she still walked our dog, recorded his "success", and took photos. She comes across as by the book and responsible. We are now repeat customers.”

Your pet’s safety is my number one priority. My home is fenced in and safe, and I’m here all day so your dog will never be left alone for long. I follow each owner’s routines closely, send regular photo updates, and will reach out immediately if anything comes up.

I work part-time remote, so I have flexibility in my week. I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks! About: I have years of experience with both my own pets and those of friends. My own dogs are both large breeds with high energy; on a daily basis we go on multiple walks and make trips to the dog park. I have years of experience walking leash reactive dogs/pullers, and have often house/dog/cat sat for friends over the years. Spending time with and taking care of animals is something that brings me great joy, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with you and your furry friend(s). I understand the love we have for our animals as owners, and will deliver the same care that I would want for my own. I'm currently in a transitional phase, so I have lots of time in my days to help with your pet care needs. I live in safe, quiet area with lots of walking routes, and I am roughly an eight minute drive from two different dog parks. I have four animals of my own, two dogs and two cats, so I am aware of what it takes to care for pets. I currently live in a two bed/two bath, 1200 sqft. apartment, equipped with a small complex bark park. I have two friendly dogs that love making new dog friends. Pets are allowed on furniture, and receive lots of one-on-one attention, as well as frequent walks and opportunities for play. I have experience with high energy and leash reactive dogs, and have the patience to handle different animal personality types.
About: I have experience caring for friends' dogs, as well my previous Retriever mix Lucky. I had her for 13 years from her energetic puppy years to a senior who needed a lot of attention and medication. My home is missing a set of paws walking around it now and I have a very flexible schedule until I leave for a new job in August. I look forward to getting in touch! I am currently in between jobs and have plenty of free time for your pups! In a typical week I will only leave the house for a few hours at a time for a couple reoccurring appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. My home has a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around and play. There is a lot of open space in my home and air conditioning to keep everyone cool. I enjoy varying levels of activity from going on runs or walks, to chilling on the couch.
“Lori was great and was so sweet with Baobao. We really appreciated her coming for a meet and greet so everyone was comfortable with the situation. Baobao was clearly comfortable with her”

“Chase was very responsive to my messages. After meeting her, you can tell she truly loves and cares for dogs which made me very comfortable with her walking our 2 medium size dogs. She sent pictures to us routinely and gave us updates on the dogs' eliminating which helped us manager the dogs' schedules. We are very happy with Chase walking our dogs and we will be asking for her dog-walking services in the future! Thanks Chase!”

About: I have over 7 years of hands-on pet care experience and currently care for my own dog and two cats at home. I personally trained my puppy, so I’m comfortable with basic obedience training, leash walking, routines, crate training, and positive reinforcement. What sets me apart is that I truly understand the patience and consistency pets need to feel safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and behavior, and I treat every animal with the same care and love I give my own pets. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and run my own online business, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m usually home throughout the day, allowing me to provide consistent attention, potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship for pets. Because of my flexible routine, I can also adapt to different pets’ needs and schedules to help them feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I always try to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for pets, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in their owner’s home. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner. At home, pets will receive lots of attention, supervision, and a clean space to relax. Since I work from home, I’m able to be present throughout the day and provide companionship and regular care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and focus on helping pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand that every pet has different personalities and needs, so I always approach them with patience, gentleness, and care.

“Highly recommend jiangxue! They were super reliable, easy to communicate with, and great with my dog. The Rover cards and photos were a nice touch. Will definitely use them again!”

“Heather was great! She has years of experience dealing with all types of dogs and that was evident when she walked my dog - who has more personality and quirks than you can shake a chuck-it stick at. I knew Heather was the right choice when my dog gave her tail wags and brought her a toy on their first at home visit. Generally he takes a while to warm up to people. Heather is responsive and punctual. I’d definitely hire her again!”

Newcastle dog parents share their Rover experiences
We did a trial meet-and-greet walk with Pauline and her dog, Comet, for our German Shepherd (Korben) and Husky mix (Deckard). Pauline was fantastic. Our Husky can be a bit selective and leash-reactive, but she handled him with total confidence and ease on our neighborhood walk. She has great instincts with dog dynamics, remained completely unfazed by typical introduction behaviors, and our senior GSD took to her immediately. It’s a huge relief to find a local sitter who understands large breeds and active dogs so well. Highly recommend!
Jade has helped us walk the dog few times. Jade is absolutely incredible with our two dogs! Handling two distinct personalities can be a challenge, but Jade takes the time to understand each of them individually and listens closely to their cues. A massive plus is her training background—she actively works on correcting behaviors and keeping them consistent with their daily routines. She is incredibly thorough, always ensuring all their needs are met before she leaves. We feel completely at ease knowing they are in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!
I hired Sharin because I'm recovering from surgery, and like me Ollie had cabin fever and needed to get out, yet I was in no condition to be walking. Sharin arrived on time and I had Ollie ready to go in his harness. He was really excited to meet her and she was so sweet to him. He's a dachshund so he can bark quite a bit, but he seemed to be relaxed when they left, which made me feel at ease. After the walk, Ollie watched her leave. I definitely would want Sharin to walk Ollie when needed.
