Loves one... Loves ALL!

Hello, Teresa here. First thing, yes I am fully vaccinated! As a young professional, I am not yet established enough to have a dog of my own and would be honored to love your furry baby as I would my own. I can hardly remember a time before we got Penny, the dog I grew up with. Since then, I've been a goner. Like all on this site, I love dogs and animals in general. Not having access to a furry friend was one of my hardest challenges of moving to college. I earned a BA in Theatre with a focus in Stage Management from Western Washington University and pre Covid-19 worked in the Greater Seattle Area theatre scene. I am an active person and love playing, exploring new areas, and taking hikes when conditions permit. As a detail oriented person, I appreciate your and your dog's preferences and will be diligent in upholding them. If you use hand signals for human to doggy communication, I will be able to readily learn the 'language' as I took American Sign Language so am use to picking up new motions. I look forward (with crossed fingers) to helping fill a need for you and getting to know your dog. Depending on your dates, I can adjust my schedule a fair amount to cater to any pup that needs something specific (*potentially additional charge depending on details). I have access to a fully fenced backyard in Issaquah (all plants inside are animal safe) and no other animals in the home. Standard exercise and play is fetch with many tennis balls but if some other type of play is better for your dog just let me know. *This could include having another dog to play with. I know/walk a couple dogs who are great with other dogs and happy to make new friends.

Teresa did a great job taking care of our 4 legged family member. She sent pictures, wrote about his day to us, and in a couple words - she cared. She cared about our dog-child as if he was her own, which gave us peace of mind. On our return, we found that she also took very good care of our home too.

Schedule

My schedule is quite flexible of late so will have plenty of time to hang out, care for, and bond with your furry family member/s.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Teresa can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
~How often does your furry family member need to go out for a potty break? ~Are they good in cars/are you comfortable with me driving them? Such as to a trailhead to hike instead of just a walk around the neighborhood. ~How well do they interact with other dogs/animals? Followed by are you comfortable with me introducing them to other specific client dogs (who are great with other dogs and love making friends) to potentially walk or play fetch together? Do they have: ~Diet Restrictions? ~Unpleasant habits? (such as peeing during storms) ~Sensitivities? (such as not liking people to touch their feet) ~Favorite scratch spot? ~Favorite toy? ~Are you working on training your dog and if so, what are you currently working on? I do not have any breed preferences although I do have a soft spot for Brittanies since that is what Penny was. Item of note for house-sitting: I am happy to make almost any departure/arrival time work around your trip's schedule though the listed price covers me arriving in the afternoon of the first day and the last day ending early afternoon. If you need me to start earlier or stay later I may add a small fee for the extra time.
