“Todd took amazing care of Finn during our drop‑ins! He was thorough, punctual, and makes dogs/pets feel instantly at ease. Finn can be shy/quirky at first with certain people, but Todd won him over immediately and kept me updated with photos and notes. It’s such a relief knowing Finn is in good hands. We’ll absolutely be using Todd again!”
“Nicole was wonderful! She checked on our cat every other day while we were out of town. We met in advance and she asked all the right questions. During the visits, she gave detailed updates and photos. Will absolutely request her services again!”

“Toki was great- on time and took care of our care and out packages inside. We always received a photo of our cat. My only suggestion would be to also leave a message about the visit when there.”

“Xiaoxiao was fantastic! She was incredibly attentive and responsible with the drop-in visits. Her communication was excellent—she was proactive in keeping me updated and always replied quickly. She was so friendly to my cats, and I could tell that our cats really liked her too. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I'm a dependable animal lover who genuinely enjoys caring for pets. I currently have three cats of my own, so I'm very familiar with feeding, litter box care, playtime, and understanding different personalities. I also grew up around dogs, giving me experience with daily walks, exercise, and providing lots of love and attention. In addition, I volunteered at a horse stable for three years, where I learned the importance of responsibility, patience, and providing consistent, attentive care for animals. I know every pet has unique needs, and I'm happy to follow your routine to help them feel comfortable and safe while you're away. I'll treat your pets like they're my own and make sure they receive plenty of care, attention, and affection. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility during the weekdays to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I’m fully available on weekends for scheduled care and can work with your routine to make sure your pets receive the attention and care they need. I enjoy spending my free time with animals and would love the opportunity to help keep your pets happy and comfortable while you’re away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I understand that pets feel safest in familiar surroundings, so I follow their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owners. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and patience while making sure their home and pets are treated with respect. For my own pets, I’m used to maintaining daily routines, including caring for my three cats, keeping up with their needs, and making sure they feel happy and loved. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

“Elizabeth was amazing! She was responsive to my request, communicative about her visit, and our pup had a great time. I will not hesitate to book her again, thanks Elizabeth!”

About: I’ve always had animals as a part of my life since I was a child. I grew up with a high energy dog (Sheppard/terrier mix) and currently dog sit for 3 dogs in my family (Husky, cocker spaniel and terrier mix). I also have had a Bengal cat for the past 3 years that I love to take on outdoor adventures and on walks with the dogs. I know the importance of keeping your pets happy and well exercised! I work remotely and decided to join rover because I love animals and want to spend more time with them because I cannot currently adopt any more myself. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. I am looking to care for pets within close vicinity to me that I can care for on weekdays and some weekends when I am free. I treat all pets as if they are my own and will follow the owner’s instructions on how they would like me to care for their pets. You can expect photo updates each time I check on them if you wish.
“Lindsay went above and beyond to help us with our cat, and we plan on continuing to book with her for the future! I absolutely recommend her if you're looking for a sitter!”

About: I have fostered dogs and cats on and off for 15 years. The last 6 years have been through R.A.S.K. I have fostered and owned all types of dogs. Don't worry if your dog has super high energy or if your puppy chews on everything. Im prepared and have plenty of experience. I'm a stay at home mom so im home all day. I do same day bookings and am flexible if you have last min changes. I have two 18 month old Lab/Husky mixes. They are 90lbs. My puppies are super friendly and very active. My house is perfect for dogs that need to burn up some energy. My son has made a ball pit for the dogs and on warmer days i fill the ball pit with water. I also have a small plastic pool for pups to play in. Dogs have access to fully fenced yard with use of dog door. They are able to come and go as they please. I do close the dog door at night. I installed anti dig guards around my fence to prevent pups from trying to dig under. My house has central air conditioning as well as portable ac units if needed. I have a live camera in the back yard. You will have 24/7 access to camera. There is an option to veiw past recored events for that day. I have motion activated lighting throughout the back yard. Pet waste is removed from yard multiple times a day. I don't use crates or kennels. If your pup feels more comfortable being crated at night you would need to bring their kennel from home. Otherwise i let the dogs sleep where they want. I have plenty of dog beds for them. Most of the time i end up with all the dogs on my king size bed. My cat is dog friendly and is an indoor/outdoor cat.

“Martina went above and beyond to take care of my dog while I was out of town for work. This included belly rubs, snuggles, play time, and walks. It really felt that Martina treated him as if he was her own. She stuck to the agreed schedule and made sure he was happy. If another opportunity presents itself, I will be reaching back out.”

Thank you so much for taking care of Lucy and bearing with our questionable communication during such a busy time for us— it was such a relief to know she had someone so attentive and thorough taking care of her! We really appreciate you, and will be reaching out in the future next time we need care for her.

Jade puts a lot of work to learn our schedule and routines for Rex and is very attentive to all the details about him. The notes left were very detailed, which we appreciate, and they gave us more insight on the interactions Rex has when we’re not around. We appreciate all the questions Jade asks and the notes she took in our initial meeting so she really has down everything we do for our puppy :)

Emily has this deep love toward the animals. That never changes. She understands the special needs some dogs do, like my dogs. She also goes above and beyond to support me and my dogs during challenging times. We are always grateful and feel lucky to have her in our life

Vanessa has been a life-saver. I recently switched from a remote job to part-time in the office. I was worried to leave my pups alone, so I booked Vanessa to check in on them weekly. She's been fantastic. Flexible, reliable, punctual, and good with the pups. Highly recommend!

My first time using Rover and it couldn't have gone any better! Jennifer was absolutely a gem to work with. We face timed beforehand and she had great questions and thought of things I didn't even consider to have readily available. My parents pet is an elderly dog that is blind and deaf and we were so apprehensive about leaving him. Jennifer kept me up to date on everything going on and took a lot of pictures. I am so happy with the communication and care that she provided and would definitely recommend her services!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
