About: I have a deep sense of responsibility when it comes to caring for pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’ve been watching friends’ dogs for over 5 years and also have a 3-year-old cat myself. I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet behind, so I aim to create a calm, loving, and safe environment while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, or just quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I work from home most days and that allows me to visit your home at your desired time. If needed, I’m available as early as 6 AM and as late as 8 PM. I have a separate space in my house where I can watch pets if needed. I have a large, fenced backyard for dogs and cat trees with toys for cats.
“I can always count on Lillian to take care of my girls when I'm gone--she gives them lots of play time and cuddles and I feel at ease knowing she's taking great care of them!”

“Lori did a great job taking care of my dog! She gave him lots of love and attention on her drop-in, made sure his needs were attended to, and stayed in communication with me. Thanks, Lori!”

About: I've taken care of medium dogs belonging to friends and family 😊 I've brushed, walked, fed, played, and cuddled with many different dogs, so I've got you covered! I'm currently working part time and am a part-time college student, so I have a lot of time to put into pet care :) I love going on adventures in my free time, whether it is to new parks or hikes! I have a very large fenced in yard and pickleball/basketball court, so your pup will have lots of room to run! I'm also located very close to multiple parks/dog parks (downtown bellevue park, newcastle beach park, robinswood dog park, etc.!) and my neighborhood also has a large grass field perfect for playing fetch. My home is also spacious and equipped with AC to keep your dog cool in the heat.

“Autumn is the best! She's taken great care of my cats multiple times now and im so happy to have found a reliable sitter. She's great with communication and sends plenty of pictures!”

About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.
“We booked with Mik a little last minute a week before our two week international trip when our initial sitter was a no show for a meet and greet, and we are so glad we did! Mik was professional, and excellent communicator, and was very flexible working together with a family member who was also caring for our pets; especially when new challenges came up (our cat was hospitalized the weekend before we left for a urinary blockage). She was awesome at interacting with our pets at the level they were comfortable with, and I could tell that they became buds by the end of our trip! ☺️ We also appreciated all of the pictures and details we were given during her home visits, as well as how Mik put in the effort to provide engagement and stimulation for our pets on a variety of ways. I would definitely recommend booking with her, and we hope to do so again in the future!”

“Janine did a fantastic job caring for Wally while we were traveling! She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and patient throughout the entire process. Wally can be a little cautious and takes time to build trust with new people, and Janine was so understanding and willing to work with him at his own pace. Her patience, kindness, and dedication gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. We truly appreciate the care and effort she put into making Wally feel comfortable and safe. Janine is wonderful, and we will absolutely continue using her services. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Hayley was an excellent sitter for my cat! I’m always nervous when I’m away, but Hayley’s communication and photo updates really put my anxiety at ease. She was punctual, clean, and did a great job administering my cat’s medicine. She used the remaining appointment time to play with my cat, so she was nice and tuckered out by the time I got home. I would 100% recommend her services!”

“Agata was wonderful! She’s super communicative, sweet and our dog loves her! We are so grateful that she was able to do regular drop ins for our pup for the week we were gone. It was super comforting knowing our pup was in good hands. Thank you, Agata!!!”

“Toki was great- on time and took care of our care and out packages inside. We always received a photo of our cat. My only suggestion would be to also leave a message about the visit when there.”

About: I have fostered dogs and cats on and off for 15 years. The last 6 years have been through R.A.S.K. I have fostered and owned all types of dogs. Don't worry if your dog has super high energy or if your puppy chews on everything. Im prepared and have plenty of experience. I'm a stay at home mom so im home all day. I do same day bookings and am flexible if you have last min changes. I have two 18 month old Lab/Husky mixes. They are 90lbs. My puppies are super friendly and very active. My house is perfect for dogs that need to burn up some energy. My son has made a ball pit for the dogs and on warmer days i fill the ball pit with water. I also have a small plastic pool for pups to play in. Dogs have access to fully fenced yard with use of dog door. They are able to come and go as they please. I do close the dog door at night. I installed anti dig guards around my fence to prevent pups from trying to dig under. My house has central air conditioning as well as portable ac units if needed. I have a live camera in the back yard. You will have 24/7 access to camera. There is an option to veiw past recored events for that day. I have motion activated lighting throughout the back yard. Pet waste is removed from yard multiple times a day. I don't use crates or kennels. If your pup feels more comfortable being crated at night you would need to bring their kennel from home. Otherwise i let the dogs sleep where they want. I have plenty of dog beds for them. Most of the time i end up with all the dogs on my king size bed. My cat is dog friendly and is an indoor/outdoor cat.
About: I grew up with 35+ lb dogs, ranging from 8 months old and unpotty trained to 10 years old and needing medication. I love working and playing with dogs, nothing is better than getting outside for a good play or a walk! I do have a 5 year old sweetheart of my own, and ideally would love to bring her for overnight stays, as she’s very friendly with other dogs and extremely mellow, but not necessary. I have classes Monday-Wednesday afternoons, but I am the go to gal for your weekend trips and lower maintenance dogs! With four days fully available I have all the time to play with your pups! My apartment complex has a fenced-in offleash area that my dogs go potty and play in, and they also get trips to the dog park once a day! We’re very careful about picking up after ourselves and keeping everything within (and without) reach dog friendly!
“This is the second time we worked with Chase! Again, Chase went above and beyond to ensure that our two cats were loved and cared for while we were away! We are so grateful for her attention to detail, patience, and considerate nature. We will absolutely work with Chase again and highly recommend her services. Thanks Chase!!”

“Elizabeth was amazing! She was responsive to my request, communicative about her visit, and our pup had a great time. I will not hesitate to book her again, thanks Elizabeth!”

“Chin Ken was a phenomenal sitter. He’s very respectful of your home (I’m in the middle of moving so mine is a bit of a mess at the moment and he wasn’t bothered). He takes the time to truly give your pet the attention they need, feeds them and gives them treats! I really appreciate how many pictures he also took of my cat!! Getting the update was my favorite part of the day. He’s so good with cats and I can’t wait to hire him in the future again! Jax LOVED him and we loved him. Thank you Chin Ken!”

“Me and my kids and my dog Coco can't thank Wendy enough to visit our home and hand hold us on recall, least waking and stay commands . She would follow up with detailed notes post the session so that we could practice at home . she also was very helpful with training aids & tools she brought and letting us use it . She is very patient and doesn't rush and very committed and I will recommend setting up a few sessions with her if your pup is needing training . Thank you Wendy !”

Thank you so much for taking care of Lucy and bearing with our questionable communication during such a busy time for us— it was such a relief to know she had someone so attentive and thorough taking care of her! We really appreciate you, and will be reaching out in the future next time we need care for her.

Emily has this deep love toward the animals. That never changes. She understands the special needs some dogs do, like my dogs. She also goes above and beyond to support me and my dogs during challenging times. We are always grateful and feel lucky to have her in our life

Vanessa has been a life-saver. I recently switched from a remote job to part-time in the office. I was worried to leave my pups alone, so I booked Vanessa to check in on them weekly. She's been fantastic. Flexible, reliable, punctual, and good with the pups. Highly recommend!

My first time using Rover and it couldn't have gone any better! Jennifer was absolutely a gem to work with. We face timed beforehand and she had great questions and thought of things I didn't even consider to have readily available. My parents pet is an elderly dog that is blind and deaf and we were so apprehensive about leaving him. Jennifer kept me up to date on everything going on and took a lot of pictures. I am so happy with the communication and care that she provided and would definitely recommend her services!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
