A Lovely Little Doggy Lodge
(Please note: If I am contacted between the hours of 8pm and 8am I will reply by 8am that morning.) I am a stay at home doggy mom who has two small dogs that I love spending my days with. I've volunteered at the humane society and have taken the American Humane Association emergency services training program, including pet first aid. I have also received an Animal Psychology certificate that I completed through an accredited animal care course. The years spent taking care of my own dogs and pet sitting for friends are what made me decide to become a Rover.com pet sitter. I am happy to provide overnight stays and extended stays (dogs under 10 lbs), daycare, dog walking services, drop in visits and cat care. Our fully and securely fenced large back yard provides a good sized outdoor area for dogs that are never left unattended. The daily schedule is planned to provide a balance between active and quiet time. Active time includes walks and fun training sessions along with plenty of toy filled playtime. Since happy and appropriate introductions are important, pet parents must schedule a meet & greet prior to their stay. If I am contacted between the hours of 8pm and 8am I will reply by 8am that morning. Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover since I was a little girl. I really love all animals. I grew up with several dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs, and a cat. I have volunteered with the Seattle Humane Society and the American Humane Association. I love learning about and taking care of pets. Everything I do is dedicated to being around animals. About my yard The back yard is a fully fenced 1/8 acre. It is completely small dog proofed. Your little bundle of fur will be attended at all times when he/she is in the back yard. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medication.

Emily has this deep love toward the animals. That never changes. She understands the special needs some dogs do, like my dogs. She also goes above and beyond to support me and my dogs during challenging times. We are always grateful and feel lucky to have her in our life
Few people I can trust with my two shy, neurotic pups. But Emily always understands their needs, no matter how long she have not seen them. I am so thankful each time Emily can help me when I’m not around for my babies
Emily has provided amazing pet care to our three dogs. They love it when she come to take care of them, it is clear they are well taken care of through the notes Emily sends and the proof in the happy active dog pictures she sends as they interact and play. We have been lucky enough to have Emily return to take care of the pack for over 6 years now!
Emily is a dog whisperer! She is amazing with our pack of high energy pups. We can’t thank her enough for her flexibility and willingness to take such wonderful care of our high functioning geriatric border collie and her two tag along buddies. We are grateful for her help and loving attention to the pack!
Emily is the one I’m able to leave my pups and go on trips, big or small. For this trip, my Scotty needed some meds for his allergy and I was hesitant to ask her thinking I shouldn’t add her extra work. But once Emily knew, she just wanted to help. She always has the dogs’ well being as her top priority. She just genuinely a really caring lady, and my dogs know and feel relaxed like at home with her!
Emily is great! She was very respectful of our house and was even kind enough to bring in our packages for us! It was clear from the photos she sent that our cats enjoyed her visits. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
