“Brooke was very kind to help me with a short notice house visit to help take care of my cat while I was away. She is a very friendly and caring person, helped to feed/clean the litter box as well as just keep my cat company so he doesn't feel sad and alone. Will definitely reach out to Brooke again in the future 😻”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals whether it be dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, you name it. I’m extremely knowledge and will be able to provide the best care you can get! Recently I got into pet sitting for family friends, training dogs, and am looking for a hobby to pass some time! I have also taken care of senior pets that need a little extra love. I’m a recent college graduate who is currently on the job hunt and am free throughout the week. I‘m open to anything your pet may need! I have a large fenced in yard with chickens, a garden, and lots of new things to sniff! I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about our pet sitter, Bryce. Finding someone who can confidently care for both our special needs cocker spaniel and chinchilla is no small task, but she exceeded every expectation from day one. She is incredibly reliable—always on time, always prepared, and always going the extra mile to make sure our pets feel safe and loved. Bryce’s depth of pet knowledge is truly impressive. Whether it’s understanding the sensitive nature of a chinchilla’s environment or keeping up with the energetic, affectionate personality of a cocker spaniel, they handle it all with ease and genuine care. You can tell immediately that animals are their priority; everything they do is thoughtful, attentive, and completely pet‑focused. On top of that, she’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Our pets warmed up instantly, which says everything. Communication was flawless throughout—clear updates, adorable photos, and quick responses that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional with animals, look no further. This is the kind of pet sitter you hope to find but rarely do. Our fur (and fur‑dust!) babies adore them, and so do we.”

“Valentina watched my 2 cats on short notice and she took great care of them. She is reliable and responsible. She sent great notes about her visits and lots of pictures. I recommend her and would book her again!”

“Autumn did a wonderful job of taking care of Pumpkin our 18 year old orange tabby. We really appreciated the pictures she sent everyday and time she spent with Pumpkin.”

“Jeany was so great! My cat seemed to love her! She took a good amount of photos, cleaned up any messes, and had plenty of cuddle time with our gal. Next time we are away she will be my go to, if she is available that is. Thank you for giving us peace of mind Jeany.”
“Thank you so much to Murou for her attentive care. This was the third time we asked her to look after our cat while we were traveling. She was extremely responsible—she gave our cat daily medication for asthma, played with her, cleaned the litter box, changed the water, and checked her food. She also kept us updated on how our cat was doing each day, which gave us great peace of mind. I highly recommended her!”

“Junbo was reliable, professional, and very attentive while taking care of my cat. She clearly paid close attention to my cat’s needs and even noticed that her nails needed trimming, which she kindly took care of. I really appreciated the extra care and thoughtfulness she showed. It gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Junbo to anyone looking for a trustworthy and responsible pet sitter.”

“Andi was phenomenal! Her communication was flawless and we could tell that she cared deeply for our pets. Our home was in great condition when we returned. We'd love to use Andi's services again!”

About: I’ve raised 3 puppies and 5 kitties since middle school! I’ve trained every puppy and kitty my family has ever had! I am a big, big animal lover and always find myself picking up strays that need love. I currently have 2 golden retrievers and two cats! I’ve also cared for every size of dog from chihuahua’s to great pyrenees's. I am currently a third year college student looking to save up for school! I have a very flexible schedule and am available for whenever you need animal care! Although I live in a studio apartment in the city, I will keep any fur baby comfortable in your home! I will do everything from kisses and hugs, to playtime, to walks! Not only do I love walking dogs, I love taking my cats for walks as well!
About: We had well trained dogs for a long time. We've had, cockerspaniel, mutts, rottweiler, chihuahua, and a doberman. We’re well suited to handle dogs of all sizes, as long as they have good temperament. If you're curious about anything else, we’re happy to have an open conversation about what kind of care we’re able to provide! We’re happy to offer boarding services late on Friday through Sunday, as we have space to ensure your dog gets the care they deserve. "Care", i think, is probably pet dependent. We’re open to adapting to a pet's needs (within reason), and will do our best to mold to the care it's used to receiving from their own family.

About: I grew up with a dog since I was in the 4th grade. Everyone knows me as a dog lover. I have read books and seen videos about dogs to learn more. I have a family dog that I dog sit from time to time. I have dog sat for friends in the past. And I love walking dogs! I am open to drop in visits on days I’m not working (Saturday and Sunday). I work full time M-F so evenings (5pm-8pm) for dog walking typically work best for me. I work from home 3 days a week (will confirm in the next two weeks what days of the week they are) and can do drop in visits during my lunch hour. I do not have my own pet. I live in a one bedroom apartment. There is a trail behind my apartment making it easy for walking dogs. I am hoping mostly to walk dogs so I can walk near your place or take the pup to a different trail to walk! I am super open to either!
About: Dogs are our truest companions. I was a third year in veterinary medical school, now a stay-at-home mom with our 3 year old son. For over 20 years I've enjoyed caring for a variety of dogs, my own, neighbors, and community members within veterinary medicine and personal pet care and boarding. Dogs have been the bright spot in my day since I can remember. I enjoy creating a daily routine catering to each animal needs and passions (be it on demand belly rubs, a good view from the couch, or an hour straight of the chuck-it stick and ball at the play field). This is their home away from home 🏡 If you do not see availability on my calendar please send me a message, I may be able to accommodate! Here is a link for $20 off your first booking: ELIZAA64592, https://www.rover.com/sit/elizaa64592 It’s fulfilling to get to know them and their unique idiosyncrasies, foster their trust to build a bond, and just love them! I will follow your instructions and requests. I will communicate quickly and directly with you regarding any follow-up questions while your pup is in my care.

Jasmin was wonderful. She was incredibly punctual and took such good care of my fur babies. I loved getting all the updates and pictures while we were away it gave me total piece of mind knowing they were in great hands. We’ve already booked her for another sitting!
Juniper is without a doubt, absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her!!! My precious girl, Ellie, is a rescue and I’ll admit I was very wary of leaving her in the care of a pet sitter. But Juniper blew both of us away! We initially did a meet and greet, during which Juniper listened intently, took notes, and asked helpful questions. Juniper took the time to actually get to know Ellie. She was very attentive and respectful of Ellie’s boundaries, but also very kind. Ellie warmed up to her very quickly! During her visits with Ellie, she took photos and kept me updated on how she was doing. She played with ellie, had some lap dog time, gave her treats, cleaned up after her, and filled up her water bowls. Last but not least, Juniper left a cute doodle of Ellie. I mean how great can you get! I quite literally had no worries at all during Juniper’s visits. Seeing my Ellie so happy was so amazing and I’m so grateful for Juniper. If you’re looking for a sitter who goes above and beyond, is patient and caring with your pet, and is attentive to their needs - look no further!

Alec is fantastic! He helped with drop-in visits for our dog. He was great with our dog! Our dog was initially nervous and unsure, even after a meet and greet, but Alex was patient and understanding and able to manage the situation, understanding the Norm wasn't ready yet and communicated everything. Timely, communicative, and so kind, we wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

Zhaoli did a great job checking in on our Winnie. She was very communicative with us throughout her 2 visits. Our girl gets very scared at first but warmed up soon to her. Zhaoli left the house in great shape as well. I would definitely recommend her. Thanks so much for taking care of Winnie while we were out!

Elena was amazing with our dog Quill! Quill is a little bit nervous around new people and anxious with loud sounds but Elena made sure she was comfortable, happy, and safe while we were away. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and highly recommend Elena!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
