“This is the second time Alec has taken care of my cats. All 3 of my cats love Alec, there's no stress vomiting or overeating issues whenever Alec sits them. I recommend Alec to anyone in the area ❤️”

“Did a great job introducing herself to my shy cat and gave him plenty of attention after he quickly warmed up to her! I could tell from the pictures she sent that my cat was loving her company.”

About: I have taken care of pets since i was 16 years old. Love all animals, very flexible to take care of different pets as well. Currently doing this full time till I find a job in the Seattle area. I’m pretty free during the day and able to work later if needed i used to have a little Westie and would take him for long walks and to dog parks as well. I had a dachshund as well that also would love long walks and being active.
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about our pet sitter, Bryce. Finding someone who can confidently care for both our special needs cocker spaniel and chinchilla is no small task, but she exceeded every expectation from day one. She is incredibly reliable—always on time, always prepared, and always going the extra mile to make sure our pets feel safe and loved. Bryce’s depth of pet knowledge is truly impressive. Whether it’s understanding the sensitive nature of a chinchilla’s environment or keeping up with the energetic, affectionate personality of a cocker spaniel, they handle it all with ease and genuine care. You can tell immediately that animals are their priority; everything they do is thoughtful, attentive, and completely pet‑focused. On top of that, she’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Our pets warmed up instantly, which says everything. Communication was flawless throughout—clear updates, adorable photos, and quick responses that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional with animals, look no further. This is the kind of pet sitter you hope to find but rarely do. Our fur (and fur‑dust!) babies adore them, and so do we.”

“This was my first time using Rover—and my first time having someone outside of family care for my furry family member. I was a bit hesitant at first, not knowing what to expect. But Rover made the process easy, and more importantly, I found a wonderful cat caregiver in Brooke. We did a meet-and-greet at my home, and I instantly knew my cat was comfortable when he greeted her at the door. Brooke was attentive as I explained his routine and asked thoughtful questions that showed her experience and genuine care. While I was traveling, she checked in daily with detailed notes and adorable photos (bonus: she has a real knack for capturing the best pet moments!). From my cat’s relaxed expressions, it was clear he was well cared for, not stressed, and thoroughly enjoying the playtime and treats Brooke provided. Knowing he was in such good hands gave me tremendous peace of mind. I’ll absolutely be booking Brooke again for future trips!”

About: I've had well trained dogs since I was around 7 years old, of all sizes. I've had, cockerspaniel, mutts, rottweiler, chihuahua, and a doberman. I'm well suited to handle dogs of all sizes, as long as they have good temperament. If you're curious about anything else, I'm happy to have an open conversation about what kind of care I'm able to provide! I work from home, so I'm generally around. the online ask isn't too big, so I have flexible time to be attentive to your pet's needs. "Care", i think, is probably pet dependent. I'm open to adapting to a pet's needs (within reason), and will do my best to mold to the care it's used to receiving from their own family.
“Zhaoli did a great job checking in on our Winnie. She was very communicative with us throughout her 2 visits. Our girl gets very scared at first but warmed up soon to her. Zhaoli left the house in great shape as well. I would definitely recommend her. Thanks so much for taking care of Winnie while we were out!”

“We’ve had Lisa come in for drop in visits for Murphy, our labradoodle, twice while on vacation. Lisa is great at communicating what’s going on at home and leaving us detailed notes and pictures. She’s also been flexible to last minute changes in scheduling. Would 100% recommend Lisa for pet sitting needs.”

“Raquel is my fav. I literally won’t go out of town with out booking her. She is so thorough and attentive to my two kitties. She truly is the only person I feel genuinely safe leaving them with. If you want your pets taken care of just as well as you would care for them, she is your girl.”

“This was her first time meeting my cat, and she did an amazing job. Even though it was their first meeting, my cat felt comfortable with her very quickly and clearly liked her. She was gentle, patient, and very attentive, which made me feel at ease. She is very responsible and punctual, and her communication was excellent — she replied to messages extremely quickly and kept me updated throughout the visit. Overall, it was a great first experience, and I would definitely trust her again in the future. Highly recommended!”

About: I’m a retired lady with a lifelong love for animals. From the time I was a child, I’ve shared my home and heart with both dogs and cats, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s something I feel deeply connected to. I’ve had the privilege of completing training and earning credentials as part of an animal therapy team with my wonderful dog, Bryan. Together, we’ve brought comfort and smiles children’s reading programs, care homes, and other community settings. That experience has only deepened my understanding of animals’ emotional needs and how to care for them with patience, kindness, and respect. I’m proud to be the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for my friends and family, who trust me not only because of my experience, but because they know I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your furry companion needs a fun walk, attentive sitting while you're away, or just a little extra TLC, I’ll provide dependable, loving care that keeps tails wagging and whiskers purring. Being retired allows me to have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy dedicating time each day to walks, feeding, and play. When I’m home and not traveling, I can provide consistent and reliable care. I’m comfortable caring for pets either in their own home or in mine. In a client’s home, I follow their routines closely — making sure feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications are done just as the pet is used to, so they feel secure and comfortable. In my own home, I have one dog and two cats who are very friendly and do well with socialized pets. Visiting dogs or cats get lots of attention, a safe space to relax, and plenty of love. I make sure everyone has a smooth introduction and that all animals are supervised so they feel comfortable together. Whether in your home or mine, I treat pets like family.
“This was my first time using the drop-in service, and it was a pleasure working with Briana. She sent me pictures even though it was a short visit. She even followed up with me when one of my dogs didn’t have a bowel movement. It was a delight, and I will definitely be using her services again.”

About: As a pet lover and the proud owner of four dogs (a Frenchie, Pug, Lab, and Husky!), I truly get how important your dog is: they're a family member, not just a protector of the house. I've got experience with a wide range of needs, from small, chill dogs like my pug to big, rambunctious German Shepherds. I know every dog is unique! I love working with all temperaments, from energetic puppies to sweet older dogs who need patience and extra attention. I've successfully pet-sat for a variety of pups and always get great feedback. My passion is well-known, and I'm happy to provide references upon request. Thank you for trusting me with your precious pup! 🙏 Note: As much as I wish I could charge less, Rover takes a decent chunk of the money. I hope you understand 😊 I have quite a free schedule and love spending time with animals, so fitting time in to take care of your pet should be no problem! Due to having four dogs of my own, I am not currently offering care at my home. However, at your home, I can ensure your dog gets all the attention, cuddles, and walks that they need!
“Amanda is extremely professional, responsible and timely. She arrived when she said she would and did an excellent job of taking care of and being kind to my cat. All of her communication was clear and I do not hesitate in recommending her. If I need to leave town again I will certainly have her take care of my pet.”

We're so grateful to Brandi for taking such wonderful care of our pets whenever we're out of town. Most recently she looked after our conure for a full week, and she does a fantastic job of keeping us updated on how everything's going. There's nothing better than being away and knowing your pets are in good hands. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets, we can't recommend Brandi highly enough!

Ruolan watched our girls for four days, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. She sent us frequent photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel connected to them while we were away. She was incredibly kind, followed all of our instructions carefully, and was very patient with both dogs. One of our girls has a sensitive stomach, so we were especially grateful that she took such great care to keep her routine consistent and healthy. She was also very thoughtful and proactive. When she noticed the apartment was getting too warm, she reached out to ask if it was okay to lower the temperature. We also crate one of our dogs, but she made an effort to give her extra time out of the crate whenever possible. She is attentive, detail-oriented, and truly respectful of both our home and our pets. We are so happy we found her and will absolutely be booking with her again in the future.
My dog was instantly friends with Christian when he came over for the meet and greet, my dog isn’t always that friendly with new people so that was a good sign. Overall was great and sent pictures of my dog for each drop in visit. Have him booked again for my next trip and recommend!

Elena was amazing with our dog Quill! Quill is a little bit nervous around new people and anxious with loud sounds but Elena made sure she was comfortable, happy, and safe while we were away. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and highly recommend Elena!

Sharon is the absolute best dog sitter for our 3 pups. She has a very special way of handling and loving our French Bulldogs, who need medication, are high-strung, and full of anxiety. She ALWAYS goes above and beyond for our girls. She has watched them 3 times now and there is no one else we would ever want to watch them. She sends us pictures and always communicates how they are doing. We know they are in wonderful hands whenever she takes care of them. Thank you Sharon for making going out of town a little less stressful!

Nafisah went above and beyond for our little girl! She sent updates and photos consistently. Her communication was excellent and helped ease our mind when being away from our pup. We will definitely be working with her again in the future. Our Daisy loves her!

Cindy has been our drop-in carer for the past few weeks and she’s been amazing with Yuna, our energetic 9-month-old puppy. She manages Yuna’s high energy so well and gives her the attention she needs. Highly recommend Cindy if you want your fur baby to be well cared for!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sammamish with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
