“I can’t say enough wonderful things about our pet sitter, Bryce. Finding someone who can confidently care for both our special needs cocker spaniel and chinchilla is no small task, but she exceeded every expectation from day one. She is incredibly reliable—always on time, always prepared, and always going the extra mile to make sure our pets feel safe and loved. Bryce’s depth of pet knowledge is truly impressive. Whether it’s understanding the sensitive nature of a chinchilla’s environment or keeping up with the energetic, affectionate personality of a cocker spaniel, they handle it all with ease and genuine care. You can tell immediately that animals are their priority; everything they do is thoughtful, attentive, and completely pet‑focused. On top of that, she’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Our pets warmed up instantly, which says everything. Communication was flawless throughout—clear updates, adorable photos, and quick responses that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional with animals, look no further. This is the kind of pet sitter you hope to find but rarely do. Our fur (and fur‑dust!) babies adore them, and so do we.”

“Zubia did a great job of keeping my cats company & keeping me updated with their moods and their health! I felt reassured while traveling that my cats were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: We had well trained dogs for a long time. We've had, cockerspaniel, mutts, rottweiler, chihuahua, and a doberman. We’re well suited to handle dogs of all sizes, as long as they have good temperament. If you're curious about anything else, we’re happy to have an open conversation about what kind of care we’re able to provide! We’re happy to offer boarding services late on Friday through Sunday, as we have space to ensure your dog gets the care they deserve. "Care", i think, is probably pet dependent. We’re open to adapting to a pet's needs (within reason), and will do our best to mold to the care it's used to receiving from their own family.
“We have a special needs pup who didn't have the greatest start in life, so when we adopted him we made a conscious decision that we'd never, ever leave him alone. Booking Hitha to sit with Rudy was the very first time we've ever left him in the care of someone else and we have nothing but wonderful things to say! Hitha is very quiet, calm, and gentle so we could tell right away that she was going to be a great match for our pup -and she was! He took to her immediately and decided she was his new best friend, so much that when it came time for her to leave, he cried for her which is really saying something given his horrific past. Hitha has those special 'Snow White' qualities that animals pick up on and we are so happy, thankful, & grateful to have had such a wonderful experience leaving our pup in the care of someone else for the very first time.”

“Murou was great! She sent lots of pictures for each check-in, updated me on their energy levels, eating, and any litter box issues. She spent time playing with them and giving them pets. Really appreciated her communication and care, will book again in the future!”

About: As a trusted and dedicated pet sitter, I provide loving and reliable care for any fur baby while their families are away. I have experience administering medications and injections when needed, ensuring pets stay healthy and comfortable, whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I genuinely love spending time with animals and take pride in making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I am only available for housesitting because my little dog does not get along with any other dogs and my roommate would take care of her while I am away. I am currently working part time so I have more time to dedicate to cat/dog/ferret/bird, etc. sit. If I do have a full work day, I have the flexibility to come home and take them for a walk. I follow a consistent schedule tailored to each family’s preferences, ensuring every pet receives the care they need and the love they deserve. This includes feeding, administering medications, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles and affection. I also keep the home tidy, including cleaning up after pets and making sure trash and recycling are taken out as needed.
“Lisa did a fantastic job with my dog, was very timely with her visits, always sent pictures and updates and my dog looked very happy and well taken care of when i got home. 5/5 would definitely use again”

“We had a fantastic experience! Communication was excellent throughout our trip, with regular updates and plenty of pictures that gave us peace of mind. Zane clearly had a great time, and it was obvious he was well cared for. Everything we requested was handled exactly as discussed, and our sitter even went above and beyond by helping with a few house-related tasks while we were away, which we really appreciated. Our sitter was also very attentive to Zane’s needs and didn’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns when appropriate, which showed a genuine level of care and professionalism. We came home to a happy dog and a well-looked-after home. Zero complaints, we would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring pet sitter.”

About: 🐱🐶 The Pets I Care For: Pistachio (My Senior Dog): He is my sweet boy! We go on walks every single day, snuggle a ton, and I make sure he gets his special food and care. He has so much energy, so we do lots of fun playing alongside his feedings and litter cleanup. Gigi & Jo (Adult + Kitten): Cared for a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old kitten together. Alec is fantastic! He helped with drop-in visits for our dog. He was great with our dog! Our dog was initially nervous and unsure, even after a meet and greet, but Alex was patient and understanding and able to manage the situation, understanding the Norm wasn't ready yet and communicated everything. Timely, communicative, and so kind, we wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

We're so grateful to Brandi for taking such wonderful care of our pets whenever we're out of town. Most recently she looked after our conure for a full week, and she does a fantastic job of keeping us updated on how everything's going. There's nothing better than being away and knowing your pets are in good hands. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets, we can't recommend Brandi highly enough!

Zhaoli did a great job checking in on our Winnie. She was very communicative with us throughout her 2 visits. Our girl gets very scared at first but warmed up soon to her. Zhaoli left the house in great shape as well. I would definitely recommend her. Thanks so much for taking care of Winnie while we were out!

My dog was instantly friends with Christian when he came over for the meet and greet, my dog isn’t always that friendly with new people so that was a good sign. Overall was great and sent pictures of my dog for each drop in visit. Have him booked again for my next trip and recommend!

Elena was amazing with our dog Quill! Quill is a little bit nervous around new people and anxious with loud sounds but Elena made sure she was comfortable, happy, and safe while we were away. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and highly recommend Elena!

Sharon is the absolute best dog sitter for our 3 pups. She has a very special way of handling and loving our French Bulldogs, who need medication, are high-strung, and full of anxiety. She ALWAYS goes above and beyond for our girls. She has watched them 3 times now and there is no one else we would ever want to watch them. She sends us pictures and always communicates how they are doing. We know they are in wonderful hands whenever she takes care of them. Thank you Sharon for making going out of town a little less stressful!

Nafisah went above and beyond for our little girl! She sent updates and photos consistently. Her communication was excellent and helped ease our mind when being away from our pup. We will definitely be working with her again in the future. Our Daisy loves her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
