About: I’m a retired lady with a lifelong love for animals. From the time I was a child, I’ve shared my home and heart with both dogs and cats, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s something I feel deeply connected to. I’ve had the privilege of completing training and earning credentials as part of an animal therapy team with my wonderful dog, Bryan. Together, we’ve brought comfort and smiles children’s reading programs, care homes, and other community settings. That experience has only deepened my understanding of animals’ emotional needs and how to care for them with patience, kindness, and respect. I’m proud to be the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for my friends and family, who trust me not only because of my experience, but because they know I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your furry companion needs a fun walk, attentive sitting while you're away, or just a little extra TLC, I’ll provide dependable, loving care that keeps tails wagging and whiskers purring. Being retired allows me to have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy dedicating time each day to walks, feeding, and play. When I’m home and not traveling, I can provide consistent and reliable care. I’m comfortable caring for pets either in their own home or in mine. In a client’s home, I follow their routines closely — making sure feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications are done just as the pet is used to, so they feel secure and comfortable. In my own home, I have one dog and two cats who are very friendly and do well with socialized pets. Visiting dogs or cats get lots of attention, a safe space to relax, and plenty of love. I make sure everyone has a smooth introduction and that all animals are supervised so they feel comfortable together. Whether in your home or mine, I treat pets like family.

Lisa is our go to dog sitter. She goes above and beyond and even adds extra stops in for Olaf and spends extra time that she does not have to. Even when her schedule is packed full she finds a way to fit us in which we really appreciate. And as always takes the best photos and gives great updates each visit. Highly recommend!

About: We had well trained dogs for a long time. We've had, cockerspaniel, mutts, rottweiler, chihuahua, and a doberman. We’re well suited to handle dogs of all sizes, as long as they have good temperament. If you're curious about anything else, we’re happy to have an open conversation about what kind of care we’re able to provide! We’re happy to offer boarding services late on Friday through Sunday, as we have space to ensure your dog gets the care they deserve. "Care", i think, is probably pet dependent. We’re open to adapting to a pet's needs (within reason), and will do our best to mold to the care it's used to receiving from their own family.

Tiffany was wonderful with our pug, Marcy! She stopped by several times while we were away to make sure that Marcy was fed, walked, and got some quality play time. I really appreciated the pictures she took, as I always miss Marcy so much when I’m away. Tiffany is extremely knowedgable in dog care. I felt very safe leaving Marcy in her hands. Will definitely book with her again!

About: I grew up around dogs and small pets like hamsters and ferrets, so looking after animals is second nature to me! My childhood dog was a Siberian Husky, and I regularly took full care of him on my own during multi-day trips when my family was away. Because of that, I’m super comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds and keeping up with their exercise, and additionally i know how to manage setups that a small exotic pet like a ferret or guinea pig would need. I'm generally very free because I'm on summer break, but I do go to the gym daily and when in-house will likely be out of the house for 2-3 hours minimum. I typically choose care depending on the breed or specific needs, but as a baseline I regularly feed twice a day and like to go between one to two long walks a day or a dog park and extra playtime. With small exotics, I like to have dedicated playtime within a secure area! I DO typically wipe off paws if needed, i.e. they get muddy or wet, but if a pet doesn't let me I will not force them. With small exotics that have cages, I spot-clean whenever possible to keep their space clean.

About: Hello!!! I have done a lot of pet sitting and overnight sitting off of the Rover app and want to see how I can reach more pet owners and provide care! I am traveling to Seattle from now until August 8th and currently live in St. Louis. I love taking care of all animals and have a special place in my heart for senior pets. Until August 8th I am in Seattle for a dance festival and can provide care in mornings, evenings, and overnight! Ideal for pets who can be on their own for during the day and then receive all the love and attention in the morning and night! I love detailed instructions! The more information you can give me about your pets the better. I am very comfortable with caring for and getting to know pets who might be anxious around new people and senior pets. I want to make your animals feel as safe and special as possible!

About: Dogs are our truest companions. I was a third year in veterinary medical school, now a stay-at-home mom with our 3 year old son. For over 20 years I've enjoyed caring for a variety of dogs, my own, neighbors, and community members within veterinary medicine and personal pet care and boarding. Dogs have been the bright spot in my day since I can remember. I enjoy creating a daily routine catering to each animal needs and passions (be it on demand belly rubs, a good view from the couch, or an hour straight of the chuck-it stick and ball at the play field). This is their home away from home 🏡 If you do not see availability on my calendar please send me a message, I may be able to accommodate! Here is a link for $20 off your first booking: ELIZAA64592, https://www.rover.com/sit/elizaa64592 It’s fulfilling to get to know them and their unique idiosyncrasies, foster their trust to build a bond, and just love them! I will follow your instructions and requests. I will communicate quickly and directly with you regarding any follow-up questions while your pup is in my care.

About: Hi! I'm Courtney, and if there's an animal nearby, there's a pretty good chance I'm saying hello to them before the humans. I grew up as the daughter of a professional dog trainer, so understanding dog behavior has always been second nature to me. I learned early that every dog communicates differently, and that patience, consistency, and a little positive reinforcement can go a long way. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. At home, I'm kept on my toes by my corgi, Xena, and my two cats, Gizmo and Tofu. Living with a dog and cats who all have wildly different personalities has taught me that every pet has their own quirks, routines, and love language—and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. Whether your pet loves long walks, energetic playtime, quiet cuddles, or just having someone nearby who respects their space, I'm happy to meet them where they are. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can relax knowing they're being cared for like one of my own. I'll also make sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. Expect plenty of updates, photos, and maybe a funny story if your pup decides to zoom around the living room or your cat appoints me as their new personal assistant. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I don't take that lightly. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I work full time Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, which makes me a great fit for evening walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and weekend care. I keep my schedule up to date and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to, so your pet will always receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort will always come first. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and respect for their individual personality and routine. Growing up with a dog trainer taught me how to recognize body language, build trust, and create positive experiences without forcing interactions. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means a favorite walking route, medication, feeding schedule, playtime, or plenty of cuddle breaks. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our pet sitter, Bryce. Finding someone who can confidently care for both our special needs cocker spaniel and chinchilla is no small task, but she exceeded every expectation from day one. She is incredibly reliable—always on time, always prepared, and always going the extra mile to make sure our pets feel safe and loved. Bryce’s depth of pet knowledge is truly impressive. Whether it’s understanding the sensitive nature of a chinchilla’s environment or keeping up with the energetic, affectionate personality of a cocker spaniel, they handle it all with ease and genuine care. You can tell immediately that animals are their priority; everything they do is thoughtful, attentive, and completely pet‑focused. On top of that, she’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Our pets warmed up instantly, which says everything. Communication was flawless throughout—clear updates, adorable photos, and quick responses that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional with animals, look no further. This is the kind of pet sitter you hope to find but rarely do. Our fur (and fur‑dust!) babies adore them, and so do we.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Sammamish stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Sammamish choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Sammamish with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sammamish. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
