She sent me lots of photos and videos throughout the visit, which made me feel so comfortable while I was at work. She played with him, fed him, took him out for potty breaks, and even noticed when he was about to have an accident and quickly took him to his potty area. 🥰 Hagrid seemed so happy and comfortable with her. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!”

About: I've had pets as long as I can remember. I have a love for animals and love taking care of them. I have experience with many different kinds of dogs and cats and have no issues in being able to catr if either or both. I've had experience with diabetic cats and older pets too. I'm currently in college so I can be busy during the weekday mornings but other then that I take care of my 2 cats at home every day, and have plenty of time to assist with others pets. I only have a cat at home who doesn't go outside, but I have dealt with large dogs on walks and am a fairly strong man, so I'll have no issues handling a couple medium sized dogs either. I'm no stranger to rough play but also love a warm gentle cuddle while reading a book or scrolling. (I may request access to your wifi so I can do homework while staying with your pets, it is not necessary to give me access if you do not feel comfortable with it, I will not take offense to you saying no, and will not treat you or your pets differently based on your answer. I swear to always give the utmost of my care and love to your pets, and treat them as if they were my own.)

About: I've been walking dogs for three years and been around them my whole life. It's the part of my week I actually look forward to. Your dog keeps their routine. Same meals, same walks, same order. You show me how it works at the walkthrough and I stick to it. I'm comfortable with older dogs too. I've handled some with limited mobility and I've given medication on a schedule. I speak English and Spanish. Hablo español Weekend trips are what I do best. Saturdays and Sundays I'm home with your dog the whole day. On weekdays I'm there overnight, out the door in the morning after breakfast and a walk, and back by six for a long evening walk and the rest of the night. Longer trips work well for dogs who are comfortable on their own during the workday. For walks and drop-ins, weekday evenings after 6pm and anytime on weekends. I don't board dogs at my place. I come to you. Your dog sleeps in their own bed and keeps their own schedule, which is usually the easiest thing for them. We start with a walkthrough so I get your dog right. How much they eat and when. Any medication and the trick to getting them to take it. Which leash and harness. Where the food and the cleanup bags live. Your vet and a backup contact. What your dog does when they're nervous and what helps them settle. I write it all down and I work from those notes. Keys get handed off in person or through a lockbox. I never leave one out. I never put your address on a tag. Leash stays on anytime we're outside. No dog parks or off-leash areas unless you tell me your dog is good with it. I check the gate and the door behind me every single time. You'll get a photo and a few lines every morning and every evening. Not a running commentary. Just enough that you never wonder how it's going. I have a car and your dog rides secured. If they need a vet I'll get them there and call you from the parking lot. We'll sort out how payment works beforehand so nobody is figuring that out in an exam room. If I can't reach you I'll try your backup contact and I'll act. I'm not going to sit on something waiting for a text back. On house sits I bring in the mail and take the bins out. I don't have people over. Your place stays yours.

He did a wonderful job caring for my senior dog and young cats. I went on a business trip for several days and was concerned about leaving my senior dog at home with the cats but Eric did a wonderful job. So I came back to a happy, wagging tale. Eric was on time for the visits, took the time to play with the cats, give them love and attention, and sent me detailed notes with lots of pictures. He even reported on how they were eating their food! I’m so glad I found Eric and I can trust him with my pets whenever I need!”

About: Hi! I’m a 28 year old lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the last 10+ years, my family and I have had three Golden Retrievers and two cats, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. My most recent Golden, Bear, sadly passed away from cancer at only six years old. I currently don’t have any pets in my home, and pet sitting has become a really meaningful way for me to share all of the love and attention I still have to give while grieving my boy. ❤️ Before Bear, I had a Golden who became blind at seven years old. Caring for him taught me an incredible amount about patience, adapting to a pet’s individual needs, and helping an animal feel safe and confident. He went on to live a wonderful life until age 13.I live an active lifestyle and especially love caring for dogs who enjoy walks and adventures. One of my favorite things to do is take dogs on long, leisurely walks around downtown Kirkland, stopping at the park, exploring, and making sure they get plenty of time for all the important sniffing! I’m also completely happy tailoring walks and activity levels to your pet’s age, personality, and routine. At home, I’m attentive to the little things that help pets feel comfortable, fresh water every day, following their normal feeding schedule, owner approved treats, lots of affection and playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax. If they enjoy background noise when I’m away, I’ll even leave Animal Planet on for them. I work full time Monday–Friday from 9–5 in an office, so I’m a great fit for dogs who are comfortable with a typical weekday work schedule. I wake up early to make sure they get a good morning walk, potty break, breakfast, and some quality time before I head to work. After work, I love coming straight home and taking my furry guest out for a nice long walk so we can both decompress from the day! Evenings are spent walking, playing, relaxing, and giving them plenty of attention. On the weekends, it’s all about the dog! One of my favorite Friday night routines is heading to downtown Kirkland for a long leisurely walk, exploring the waterfront and parks, getting lots of sniffing time in, and enjoying the evening together. I’m very active, but I always tailor walks and activities to each dog’s age, energy level, and normal routine. When your pet stays with me, I plan my free time around them, they won’t just be an addition to my weekend plans; they’re part of the plans. My one bedroom condo is in a quiet North Kirkland community with plenty of grassy potty areas, walking paths, trails, and nearby parks. My unit is on the first floor and directly across the walking path from a large grassy area, which makes quick potty breaks especially easy in the mornings, evenings, or before bed. I currently have no pets of my own, so your pet will receive lots of individual attention while staying with me. They will be cared for exclusively by me and my boyfriend, who is also a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs. He helped care for my Golden Retriever, Bear, throughout his six years of life and also helped care for my senior Golden during the final four years of his life after he became blind. He is incredibly gentle with animals and is usually the first person to get down on the floor for some cuddles and relaxation. ❤️ My home is secure and pet-friendly, and being on the first floor makes coming and going especially convenient for dogs of all ages. In the summer, I have air conditioning and a ceiling fan to keep pets comfortable, and in the winter my home stays warm and cozy with heat and an electric fireplace. Safety and trust are my top priorities. Dogs remain securely leashed outside, and I’m very attentive to our surroundings while walking, especially around traffic, intersections, other dogs, and busy roads. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, walking habits, anxieties, and any special instructions their family provides. I’m also the Vice President of my condo community’s HOA and take pride in helping make our community welcoming and considerate of pet owners. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my home while giving you peace of mind that they’re being cared for like family.

About: I grew up with a nana who raised litters of puppies, along with showing her own dogs. I know how to aid in dog birth, and I'm also familiar with training puppies. I've dog sat/house sat on multiple occasions, and I also have a black lab of my own who is now thirteen. I currently work full time as a recovery specialist M-Th from 7am-5:30pm. I'm totally open to checking in on your pet after I get out of work. Fri-Sun are days where I could potentially come over multiple times a day to help out :) I would definitely prefer to come to the client home to help with your pet. I’m also willing to transport your animal if that’s needed (going to a dog park, going on a longer nature walk, etc.) The safety of your pet is number one so please let me know any restrictions they may have or any behaviors they may engage in that could endanger them (i.e. they love to go into the backyard and attempt a prison break situation). I highly value your privacy as well and I always take the utmost care to make sure everything is locked up and tidy when I leave a pet sitting job.

About: I love dogs. There are no more loving and positive creatures on this earth and I strive to return the love they show right back to them. Although I have no professional dog care experience, I've had a pet dog for most of my life and before I had a real dog to care for I cared for an imaginary dog as well. My first dog was a beagle named Sparkey and I currently have a shih tzu named Harley. I've also cared for my sister's large American Bulldog, Marley, on several occasions. Not to mention the fact that my second middle name is Roch, the patron saint of dogs and dog lovers. I love dogs and strongly believe there is no such thing as a bad dog. I am patient and caring with dogs and will ensure proper, loving care to any dog entrusted to me. I know how much I love my dogs and would treat any dog under my care as if they were my own. I'm currently reading the book "Inside of a Dog" a book about the thought process of a dog which gives the reader a better understanding of dogs. I also plan on learning doggy CPR if I receive enough clients. I'm going to be graduating from college in May and am currently in the job hunt, so I'm looking for a little bit of extra income during the summer. I currently am only coaching a local swim team which the middle part of my day is very open to caring for dogs. I do have a dog of my own who I walk everyday after I get home from coaching morning practice, so I will always be available after I care for him.
