Animals always come first!
Life long animal lover of any size, shape or species. I have had and taken care of animals my whole life. I have senior care experience as well as kitten/puppy care experience. I currently have my own two cats. On top of loving dogs and cats, I am currently a volunteer for Seattle Humane Society which involves the handling and care of animals and their space . Clearly I can’t get enough!

I am super cautious about pets escaping, double checking for all things bad they can get into. I always make sure I leave my house or someone’s house as they would want the pet to be in. I keep my home very tidy and clean, and I implement the same routines when staying or visiting someone’s home. I try to take up a little space, little mess, and not to intrude on any personal space or belongings. I am comfortable with cameras as I have cameras to watch my pets as well. I don’t have any plants in the home. I don’t light candles or use diffusers. I use all pet safe cleaning products. I am very educated on what is poisonous for dogs and cats. I am well equipped and comfortable taking a pet to the emergency vet if the situation calls for it and I would be happy to refund my services/help pay if something were to happen in my care. I take watching peoples animals very seriously.

I highly recommend Alexa as a thoughful and caring pet sitter. This is my first experience hiring a sitter through Rover and I'm entirely satisfied. More importantly, I returned home to a happy cat! I'll definitely book Alexa again! She's the best!

Alexa did a great job taking care of our our cat while we were away for a few days. She's an excellent communicator, happy, and clearly loves cats. Our cat knew, since he jumped in her lap, something he rarely does. I highly recommend Alexa!
We had such a wonderful experience with Alexa she was incredibly sweet, caring and attentive with both our cats She made sure they were comfortable, happy and well taking care of which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away we really appreciated how thoughtful and gentle she was with them. Schedule
I work full time but I always make time for my pets. I’m right next to a lot of parks and also live in with heart of downtown Kirkland with plenty of walking accommodations around me. Their health and happiness is my priority and even if that means making things work around my day. I always make time for play, feeding, cleaning the house for them, making sure they get some sort of enrichment.

- If they have a triggers to certain people, noises, situations. As I am not their owner, I do avoid any interaction with other pets to reduce anything happening, ex crossing the street when another dog is approaching. If they have an allergy, if they can have human food ( even by accident). Any medical needs or behavior I should be on alert for.
