I have really enjoyed starting to board animals. We have watched several of the dogs that I walk and have welcomed a variety of small animals as well. I have taken several sugar gliders because I have gliders of my own and have a lot of experience handling and entertaining gliders. I have a glider-safe room already set up for them to bounce around and enjoy free time out of their cages. I live in a house in Kirkland right next to the CKC. While I do have a yard, the fence is not suitable to let dogs off leash, but many have enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck with the family. I'm happy to stay overnight in your home with a pet so they are not afraid overnight, but am generally only available for short stays as I have high-school aged kids, so welcoming pets into our home is often easier.

It would help me to know how they typically walk on a leash, what rules you have for them on walks, if they are aggressive towards other dogs or people, how far they usually walk, if there are any triggers such as bikes or skateboards that should be avoided, if they have a towel for feet wiping and drying on rainy days, and anything else I should know about their unique personalities.

I love to walk and run and am happy to do either with your dog. I also love to play ball and throw toys and just give them lots of pets and attention - whatever they like! I also grew up with cats and am happy to take care of cats and other pets as well.

I grew up with collies, golden retrievers, and labs. I've walked everything form a papillon to a great Pyrenees. I really miss having dogs and cats, but I have 2 sweet sugar gliders that I love like crazy. I am so envious of everyone out running and walking with their dogs, so walking other people's dogs helps fill that void a bit. I have a flexible schedule and am free during the day and available to stop in for mid-day walks. I am also a runner and am happy to run or walk. I love animals and am happy to stop in and keep cats and other types of pets company too - whatever they need. I always look forward to meeting new furry friends!
