“We wholeheartedly give Shayna five stars! 🌟 She’s a true professional and has experience working with clients with complex needs (we are also “particular” parents 🤓): Her detailed updates and frame-worthy photos were beyond what we could have hoped for. She cared for our two velcro pups — our older, well-behaved one and our younger, rambunctious, slower-to-trust puppy — with such warmth. She kept to the feeding schedule and complex instructions (we premake and weigh out their food and feed every 5 hours 3x day), gave plenty of potty breaks, and added lots of playtime. She also handled feedback with ease when we asked for less peanut butter on the lick pads, and she even shared news when it wasn’t ideal such as one one of our pups getting sick from too much peanut butter 😅 When we returned, the house was tidier than we left it ✨ (blankets folded, dishes washed, and even helped bring our bins to the curb since we’d be gone over the long weekend). We couldn’t ask for a better partner in caring for our dogs. We’re already booked with Shayna again for house sitting and drop in visits. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. We booked Sophia for our weeklong trip to watch our mini-zoo of 4 dogs and 2 cats and she was amazing! Responsible, respectful, and responsive. She was happy to comply with everything we asked of her, and even did plenty without us asking. Our house was pristine when we returned and our pets were all very happy and well taken care of, she even washed our rug when one of the dogs had an accident! We would definitely book Sophia again in the future if we have another trip.
Our boy is a tough cookie. He has a lot of ailments and gets agitated very easily but Yulia is so patient and kind to him. She really has a way with him and he seems to always be a happy camper when she watches him. It’s always such a relief when she stays with him when we’re away.
We couldn’t be happier with how attentive and engaged Kellie was while watching our two dogs Lucy and Jelly. She stayed at our home and did everything possible to keep our girls happy and healthy. Lucy had a recent unexpected surgery, and Kellie kept us updated on how her incisions looked and made sure to keep her cone on to help her heal. Likewise, Jelly has medical issues and needs daily medication and has strict diet and food allergies and we came home to a perfectly happy and healthy pup! She kept us well informed throughout the stay with lots of pictures and updates and left the house immaculate. Will 100% be booking her again! Your dog will definitely be in great hands.
I was able to book Amanda on fairly short notice, and from the meet and greet alone I felt completely at ease leaving my dogs in her care. She provided frequent updates and photos throughout the day, which I really appreciated, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. When I got home, my dogs were happy and well cared for, and my house was spotless. I would absolutely recommend her!
