They were very flexible with time too, I was able to book them with just a few days notice, and had to stay out later than expected which was no problem for them. About: I’ve been a dog parent, on and off, since 2006 from 5lbs to 90lbs dogs. I am confident, patient, & praise positive reinforcements for best communication. Open availability. I work remotely full-time and control my own schedule. All my services are available throughout the week and weekends for one-time or ongoing. We have a gated balcony on our second floor unit and pet friendly environment in our complex. Easy access to walking trails and Marymoor park. My 3 year-old helps with feeding, play, walks, and cuddles. During the day between 10-6pm we have the option of daycare or grandparent’s care and some weekends if necessary. We have hardwood floors with a few area rugs. We allow dogs on couch and bed if preferred.

About: I’ve enjoyed walking dogs in my Seattle neighborhood since I was a teen. Any opportunity to exercise and be around pets is a time I can’t pass up! I do not mind long walks or jogging, so if you prefer a longer walk time for your pet that is no issue. I’m currently working part time and will soon begin going back to college in the fall part time as well. I have a very flexible work schedule, weight to shed, and a genuine love for animals, so I thought I’d try Rover out 😄 I would not be able to have pets in my own home, but I will gladly prepare your pet for a walk or feed him/her in your home if you are comfortable. I am also comfortable sitting at your place! I have worked with dogs as young as 5 months, and up to 12 years old. I know how to stimulate a young pup, making sure I read their energy in order to provide them with the fitness they need. On the flip side, I understand the hands on care, assistance, and supervision (quite literally have to be their eyes sometimes) an elderly dog requires. You can trust with me with your pet during all of their life stages.

“Jessi is the person you want watching your pet! She treats them as if they’re her own. My dog (Peaches) has separation anxiety but I know that when I leave her with Jessi that she is safe, happy, and cared for as if she were family. She sends as many photos and videos as you ask for and often sends them without being asked, which is always a lovely surprise! Peaches is always so excited to see Jessi! It’s apparent that Jessi takes time to build relationships of trust and love with the pets she cares for. Jessi takes Peaches for long walks, plays fetch, tug-of-war, and gives all the scritches and cuddles (which Peaches loves!). Jessi is attentive to Peaches needs, careful to adjust care as needed and when requested. When we pick Peaches up she’s relaxed, happy, and looks well taken care of! Couldn’t recommend Jessi more and we will continue to use her in the future!”

About: I always had pets around me growing up. We had a horse in our backyard as a kid. My parents were fond of Old English Sheepdogs and we always had a variation or two around. The best time was when they had puppies! There were always cats who walked freely in our backyard and came by for treats. When I move to the city, I always had cat friends. I often got to cat sit for them when they would go out of town. My neighbor’s cat in our Manhattan brownstone, spent more time in my apartment than hers because she preferred my window view. I have no pets now because my husband of many years, is all allergic to everything: bird, dander, cat, and dog hair, even Live cut Christmas tree trees! Now, my substitute teaching job has allowed me time to spend with pets. This is why I would be happy to take care of your cat and dog whenever you need pet care. I have been a substitute teacher for the past five years and am planning a hiatus from teaching. I plan to devote my days to helping my kids get to school and taking care of pets. Being a freelancer has taught me many things: how to adapt to new situations, be flexible with schedule changes and how to manage my time productively. I have taken care of cats for friends who have been out of town or country for long periods. I drive and can easily walk to or from a large section of my neighborhood.
