“Karina was very nice and communicative….. she took really good care of my Oreo, he came home very happy. I Would highly recommend her to care for your dog.”

“We were very happy leaving our dog with Rochelle and her husband. She was easy to communicate with and we knew he would be safe and comfortable in their home. They also have a fenced yard if your dog, like mine, can be tricky on walks!”

“Masumi took such great care of my dog! My pup is slow to warm up to new people and Masumi and her family were so patient and kind with her until she felt truly comfortable in her new surroundings. We also appreciated the detailed updates, photos, and videos that we received every evening while we were away. We'll definitely book with Masumi again when we travel!”

“Mary is wonderful. Look no further if you are looking for a sitter. Mary helped take care of our 18-week puppy when we traveled. She invited us to her place for a meet-and-greet. We knew immediately that our pup will have a good time with her. She is very knowledgeable and experienced about dogs and shared quite a lot of tips for us as first-time owners. She is so patient and calm and that really helps with a growing puppy. Her pup Tribbe is a good company to have for a young pup like ours. When we were traveling, Mary sent us daily update, which is really nice. When we picked up our puppy, he was very happy and clearly had a bond with Mary. She also helped us work on puppy training such as no jumping and helped us discover how our pup loves to chew on big bones: ) We would definitely have our pup stay with Mary again in the future and highly recommend her for everyone.”

“Emily and Patrick were absolutely incredible with Isla! From the moment we dropped her off, we felt at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. Their dog, Winter, got along so well with Isla, and it was heartwarming to see how much fun they had together. They went above and beyond to make sure Isla was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. We also want to give a big thank you to their son, who was so sweet and played with Isla! Their patience and attentiveness truly made a difference, and we couldn’t be happier with their boarding services. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch pet care!”
“We have used Fiona several times to watch our two dogs, one of whom is a puppy. She is patient with them, and we feel like they are well taken care of. This is why we are repeat customers!”

“I am thankful I found Romy through Rover- leaving your baby with someone is never easy.Romy was super communicative and we established trust instantly. Max enjoyed his stay there and this mommy got multiple updates and pictures to put my anxiety at rest-thank you Romy.”

“Piotr had a great time staying with Liz! She is very detail oriented when asking questions about our furbaby. Anything that could help her get to know him and aide her in giving him the best care tailored to him. She even sent us pictures and updates on what they were up to, which I genuinely appreciated. She also has a plethora of different toys and stimuli to challenge him mentally as well. He came home with two new tricks, shake/high five AND hide and seek with a stuffed ball! I can't wait to keep working with the foundation she was able to lay with him. Thank you for treating our little boi so well, I look forward to having you watch either or both our pups in the future.”

“Oakley absolutely loves coming to your house! He starts going crazy as soon as we turn off Bothell Way! He can’t get out of the car fast enough! Thank you both so much!”

“Auggie loved all the attention, cuddles, and new friends he made at Qiaohui's place! Qiaohui and her husband had us over for a meet and greet before our stay and they were lovely. We will definitely be coming back next time we need boarding!”

“Lorena was absolutely wonderful! She took fantastic care of our pup, made her feel comfortable in a new space with new people and new dogs, and was incredibly communicative and flexible. Would highly recommend, and look forward to working with her again soon :)”

“My dog received such great care. Kelly, was extremely flexible when I added an extra night stay at the last minute. Got regular photos and updates. Thanks! Kelly and Karen!”

About: As a pet owner I know the pain of trying to find someone who will care for your beloved pet the way you would while away. I know how hard it can be to find care for pets with regular exercise needs. I am not a professional kennel or dog training. I am a dog mom who will love your pets like they are my own and ensure they have all their needs taken care of while they are in my home. I’ve been around pets for most of my life. My family had pets growing up, and as an adult I’ve pet sit for family and friends for over 20 years. I finally became a pet parent myself in 2022 to a mixed breed cattle dog named Teddy Bear. It was love at first sight, despite our rough start due to issues from him being labeled as a lab mix. I’ve learned from experience that breed matters when it comes to ensuring your dog’s physical as well as emotional needs are properly met. We delt with behavior issues, as well as anxiety, and food issues as Teddy moved through his “teens”. I hired a private trainer only weeks after adopting Teddy, and to this day we still participate in a variety of group training classes through most of the year. Teddy is excellent at Nose work/Scent work and loves the mental stimulation. These training lessons have taught me a lot about patience when working with dogs as well as how to work with dogs on their own level and through their style of communication. Teddy passed the Canine Good Citizen Test at only 9 months old! My motto is you are always training. I use the skills learned in the years of lessons whenever I am around dogs and it’s made me quite popular at the dog parks. My dog goes to hunt bunnies, and I go to pet all the dogs that seem naturally to be drawn to me. I only accept the dogs from 1 home at a time. Your pets will be a part of my family as long as they are under my roof. My life revolves around my dog. Teddy is a fairly high energy dog and this means lots of physical and mental stimulation is required. So we walk everyday rain, shine, or even snow! Unless the weather isn’t safe to be outside, we walk. If your dog isn’t as high energy, that is ok. We typically go places your dog can rest and enjoy the smells while Teddy gets his energy out. I have a hybrid work schedule and generally am in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-5pm. My schedule is flexible though so if I know I have to be gone in the evening, I change up my days in the office so I can be home with my dog during the day. I feed the dogs 2x per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I have a large fully fenced backyard, and a dog door so the pups can freely roam between inside and out. It’s a bit of a dogs paradise with lots of birds and squirrels roaming about for them to keep tabs on. I do have a medium-large sized crate for dogs that need to be crated. And feed everyone in separate spaces. The couch under my living room window is now permanently the “dogs couch”. Teddy is very good at sharing his toys and beds. There is an overabundance of dog beds throughout my house. My house used to be clean, but then I got a dog. The house now belongs to Teddy and I just live here among his beds and toys. Teddy is great with dogs of all sizes and most temperaments. I describe him as aloof but friendly. He can be playful in spirts if other dogs initiate, and while he loves being around other dogs, is very independent. The only exceptions to his easy-going persona are aggressive dogs, or dogs that have a higher than usual tendency to resource guard. For this reason I cannot except non neutered males as pretty much every instance of aggression we have come across was with a non neutered male. Regardless of size. My neighbors on 2 sides do have dogs as well. So your dogs would meet them through the fence. We have 4 legged friends over on a regular basis, and the neighbor dogs generally love greeting the new friends so long as they are not aggressive. I do allow dogs on my bed as long as I'm not sleeping. My experience has been dogs tend to lay exactly where my legs need to be. So, I usually kick them off just before turning off the lights to allow myself use of my own bed. But if your dog is happy to stay on the other side of the bed without trying to take over my side, they can stay.

“Really appreciated the fun photos of Gamma’s stay with Amy. Amy was always responsive and great about keeping me updated. Best part is that Gamma had other puppies to play with all day.”

“Serena and Peter were awesome Rover hosts for Paddington! He's a senior doggy and they were attentive to his needs. They took plenty of pictures and were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We will definitely repeat if they will have us!”

“My 14 year old corgi needed something a little more calm and quiet than the boarding kennel and this was the perfect fit. She is still very physically active and likes a good walk and some playtime but was able to spend the better part of her days comfortably snoozing and watching over people while they worked. She doesnt handle stairs very well anymore and hates being carried so i was happy this apartment had an elevator and ramps.”

Totem Lake dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ben is a fantastic person to look after our Hobi. He and his family members are so nice to look after him. Always share photos about how Hobi is doing. Such a relief to knowing our Hobi is in good hands. They took care of him as a family member. "Jess is a lifesaver! She did drop-in visits for our two cats while we were out of town. She was dependable, followed all of our feeding instructions, and even spent time playing with them. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in great hands. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Ben before our next trip!
Ella loved staying with Matthew and his partner! She normally gets stressed in new environments - but she came back happy and like she had a great time. I really appreciate that they only take 1 dog at a time, have a fenced yard and were communicative with regular photos and updates every day. Would definitely re-book for our future trips

Dani took exceptional care of Pepper, as she always does. She made sure Pepper received her meals and supplements on schedule, took her on daily walks, and gave her lots of love, attention, and cuddles. Pepper absolutely loves staying with Dani and Ama and is always excited to see them. It's such a comfort knowing she's in such caring hands.

Lauren took amazing care of our dachshund, Fig! I think Fig was a little sad that she was leaving to be honest. Lauren sent daily updates and photos, and was super responsive. Also was very flexible on drop off and pick up times. Thank you for taking great care of her!

Joyce was a wonderful person to work with. My dog Mika was very calm and happy to meet us when we returned, meaning she had a good time. Joyce's updates and photo's were most welcoming and gave me more peace of mind while I was away. I appreciate her kindness and love for the dogs in her care (and her very sweet children:)). I highly recommend Joyces' services to anyone. I look forward to having her watch Mika again in the future.
Natalia was so great at taking care of Tofu while we were out of town!! She was communicative and sent a toooon of pictures, I had no doubt that his stay was going well, and it was so nice to see that she spent a lot of time just playing with him and giving him attention. She was so kind and professional, I’d definitely book her again!

Kellie over delivered on every level and I’m so lucky to have found her. Her positive energy, attention to detail regarding routine and instructions, and genuine love towards our dog was amazing. She was so communicative before, during, and after her stay I never had to wonder how things were going and if she and our pup were doing ok. On top of that, the house was spotless when we came home which made coming back to our pup even better. She’s such a wonderful and caring person and we will absolutely reach out to her right away next time we need dog care. Thank you Kellie for being exceptional!
