About: Hi! I’m a 28 year old lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the last 10+ years, my family and I have had three Golden Retrievers and two cats, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. My most recent Golden, Bear, sadly passed away from cancer at only six years old. I currently don’t have any pets in my home, and pet sitting has become a really meaningful way for me to share all of the love and attention I still have to give while grieving my boy. ❤️ Before Bear, I had a Golden who became blind at seven years old. He is incredibly gentle with animals and is usually the first person to get down on the floor for some cuddles and relaxation. ❤️ My home is secure and pet-friendly, and being on the first floor makes coming and going especially convenient for dogs of all ages. In the summer, I have air conditioning and a ceiling fan to keep pets comfortable, and in the winter my home stays warm and cozy with heat and an electric fireplace. Safety and trust are my top priorities. Dogs remain securely leashed outside, and I’m very attentive to our surroundings while walking, especially around traffic, intersections, other dogs, and busy roads. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, walking habits, anxieties, and any special instructions their family provides. I’m also the Vice President of my condo community’s HOA and take pride in helping make our community welcoming and considerate of pet owners. About: I work remotely with a flexible schedule. I have had dogs in our family ever almost 20 years. Our family dogs passed away recently and we don’t plan to adopt another one. About: Our dog Sugar passed away in May 2026 after we had her for 13.5 years. She was our constant companion and now we miss the pitter patter of feet in the house. We're not ready to adopt a dog yet, but we would love to watch dogs for others to bring some life back to our home and to have the chance to spoil a little furry baby again. We took great care of Sugar when we had her. We gave her the best diets as her body changed, brushed her teeth daily, took her on 1-2 walks a day, and brought her on car rides which were her favorite. We gained a lot of experience taking care of her, especially as she aged. We've watched friends' dogs many times and also fostered one pup. We would love to watch yours and give them all the cuddles! For larger dogs, we prefer non shedding breeds due to some slight allergies. We both work from home everyday and always take a walk after lunch if the weather is good. We have a fenced yard where we can let your dog out to potty and sniff all the good smells. Our house has very easy access to the outside with no kid or pets. Dogs can go anywhere in the house and on the furniture if they like that. We can also put up a wall to prevent them from going up the stairs if you prefer. My default is to give updates daily about how they're doing, eating, and pooping, but if you need more or less than that, I can accommodate!

About: I am very passionate about animals and dogs have a special place in my heart. I joined 4-H club when I was 7 years old and have been caring for dogs, rabbits, and other animals ever since. I have learned so much about dogs and have a true connection to them. I am experienced caring for all ages of dogs including puppies and seniors.
