About: I love dogs. There are no more loving and positive creatures on this earth and I strive to return the love they show right back to them. Although I have no professional dog care experience, I've had a pet dog for most of my life and before I had a real dog to care for I cared for an imaginary dog as well. My first dog was a beagle named Sparkey and I currently have a shih tzu named Harley. I've also cared for my sister's large American Bulldog, Marley, on several occasions. I currently am only coaching a local swim team which the middle part of my day is very open to caring for dogs. I do have a dog of my own who I walk everyday after I get home from coaching morning practice, so I will always be available after I care for him. About: Our dog Sugar passed away in May 2026 after we had her for 13.5 years. She was our constant companion and now we miss the pitter patter of feet in the house. We're not ready to adopt a dog yet, but we would love to watch dogs for others to bring some life back to our home and to have the chance to spoil a little furry baby again. We took great care of Sugar when we had her. We gave her the best diets as her body changed, brushed her teeth daily, took her on 1-2 walks a day, and brought her on car rides which were her favorite. We gained a lot of experience taking care of her, especially as she aged. We've watched friends' dogs many times and also fostered one pup. We would love to watch yours and give them all the cuddles! We both work from home everyday and always take a walk after lunch if the weather is good. We have a fenced yard where we can let your dog out to potty and sniff all the good smells. Our house has very easy access to the outside with no kid or pets. Dogs can go anywhere in the house and on the furniture if they like that. We can also put up a wall to prevent them from going up the stairs if you prefer. My default is to give updates daily about how they're doing, eating, and pooping, but if you need more or less than that, I can accommodate!

About: I've lived with cats and dogs my entire life. Taking care of my own and my friends animals have helped me care for dogs or cats with different energies. I've had to train a few puppies to be potty trained and a few tricks while at it. Pup cups, are important, in my opinion because everyone deserves a treat when going out. I currently work full-time, usually in the mornings but I drive to work so I can be more malleable when taking them out. I don't usually leave my house longer than 6 hours at a time. Besides taking them to the off leash dog parks near my apartment, I do like to hike trails on my days off. I have two off leash dog parks and another park that are near my apartment within walking distance. There is plenty of sun, for sunbathing, and space in the apartment if there needs to be a crate. There is a friendly dog that with me, she loves sleep and has the occasional hello to other furry friends.

About: I am passionate about the safety, happiness, and health of all animals. I have a dog of my own who is my entire world, and I have 10+ years of experience caring for friends and family pets. I grew up in Kirkland and love walking the areas many walking trails and routes. I would love to provide your pet with exercise and companionship. I live in downtown Kirkland and am able to do quick walks or check ins easily. I work as a teacher so afternoons are open for me, and summers I am available all the time! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I work hard to create a calm, secure, and predictable environment—whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or stopping by for visits. In your home, I respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s usual routine so things feel familiar and stress-free. I’m careful with doors, gates, and leashes at all times, and I stay aware of surroundings on walks to keep your pet safe—especially around other dogs, traffic, and busy areas. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, boundaries, and any triggers ahead of time (like reactivity on walks), so I can handle situations confidently and avoid unnecessary stress. You can also expect clear communication from me, with regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is safe, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.
