He did a wonderful job caring for my senior dog and young cats. About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! About: Hi, I’m Cortney! 😊 I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my giant Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, daily routines, leash handling, enrichment, and understanding different personalities and behaviors. I’ve also cared for cats for many years and enjoy learning each cat’s routine and what helps them feel comfortable. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including dogs who may be anxious, shy, or need a little extra patience when meeting new people. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of drop-in visits and walks throughout the week, including most weekends. Whether you need planned pet care or last-minute help, I’m happy to help whenever I can! I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I do my best to make each visit feel familiar, relaxed, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I also love sending photo updates and messages throughout visits so you can follow along and see how your pet is doing. 😊 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. On warmer days, I pay close attention to pavement temperatures and how each pet is handling the heat. If it’s too hot for a walk, I’ll prioritize a safe potty break and use the rest of our time for play, enrichment, or keeping them company indoors. ☀️🐾
