âLeelay is fantastic! Very meticulous, she asked tons of questions before we finalized the booking and spent lots of time with my pets when she visited. Every day she came exactly at the time we agreed and she sent photos each time she visited, keeping close contact the entire time. Sheâs so kind and thorough, I canât recommend her enough!â

âAlexa did a fantastic job looking after my two kitties while I was away for a couple of weeks. I highly recommend her for anyone stressed about making sure their cats are taken care of while out of town!â

About: Hello - I am Ra. I have loved animals all my life! But my love deepened when I become a puppy raiser for a future assistance dog during covid. His name is Felix (yellow lab). I picked him up when he was 2 months of age and he left for his former training from my care/home at the age of 14 months. One year of a strong bond, weekly/monthly training sessions, creating unique experiences for his professional development and many personal memorable moments later, it was time to say goodbye and it wasnât an easy farewell. He left for his formal 6 month training to Oregon and in Dec 2022, I had the opportunity to say my final goodbye when he graduated and officially become an assistance service dog. It fills my heart to know that today he is an assistance dog to a lovely lady who he is his life long companion and through his service, he lives a purposeful life. 10 days before he left, I adopted Charlie (yellow lab), who confidently came into life through Felix. It was as if Felix knew I would need a companion of my own after his departure and wanted to leave me with a long term friend. Today Charlie is an extension of my love for Charlie himself and Felix - and Chase! (Chase is my 15 yr old yorkie who passed away last year peacefully in sleep, leaving us so grateful for his presence in my familyâs life). Animals are remarkable creatures and they give us so much joy and ask for very little in return. I would love to give some joy back to your loved ones so let me take good care of your companions, they deserve all the love and care we can provide! [Note: the organization I volunteered with to become a puppy raiser for future assistance dog is called Dogs for Better Lives (DBL)] I'm currently working as a consultant, remotely. My schedule is very flexible and open to meet your schedule and service needs - send me a note! I will be taking care of your companion at your home based on your requirements and requirements of the individual pet as directed/needed. They will get lot of love, care and attention from me!
âAlejandro was wonderful with Tiago! Alejandro is super responsible and took lots of adorable pictures of Tiago during his drop ins. Tiago was immediately comfortable with him and loves having his daily visits from his new best bud.â

About: Iâve taken care of dogs since I was 14. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk & feed their pets. I've had animals ever since I was 12 years old & never an empty house without pets I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I'm available on weekdays and weekends to give some love to your furry pets ;) I have a fenced yard and two loving friendly dogs myself that can keep your fur baby company. I can easily Kennel your dog if needed as well.
âCame home to my babies well fed and they looked like they didnât miss me at all! 𤣠I just moved to the area and was super happy that I found Caroline. Sheâs amazing and I will definitely book her again next time Iâm out of town!â

âJessica is so sweet and caring and pays attention to detail. I trust her with my fur baby and in my house. Sheâs very communicative and professional. I can go on vacation worry free and know my pup is in good hands.â

âCory continues to take careful and loving care of my puppy Scout, who can be a handful. I come home to a happy and tired puppy in the evenings. Cory does a great job of letting him run and burn off energy!!â

âI would definitely recommend Bailey to anyone looking for a sitter to drop in on their cat(s). I hired Bailey to drop in on my cat over a 3ish week timespan. She followed instructions carefully and, more impressively, was able to get my very shy cat to open up to her. For context, my cat is extremely wary of strangers and hides when unfamiliar people are at my house. I was very happy to eventually see pictures of my cat happily cuddling up to Bailey. Bailey also clearly cares about providing excellent care to her clientsâ animals.â

âLogan was great with my over excited puppy. On time, gave her good attention and walked and played with her. She came early to meet the puppy and listened to and alleviated all of my concerns walking this first time rover user through the process.â

About: I grew up with a family dog and have so many wonderful memories of helping care for her as well as many other dogs of friends and family. I love providing pet care because I get to fully focus my attention on the pets, which can often be more difficult to do in other settings when other humans are involved. I love to try and give the pets I'm caring for whatever they need during my sessions with them, whether that be walking/playing or getting lots of pets and back scratches in. My wife has been a Rover sitter for 7+ years and I've accompanied her on quite a few visits as well -- we are both great pet people and love to love pets however our clients want that to happen :) I'm currently in school full-time, but have some afternoons as well as evenings and weekends available to help with pet visits and pet care. I will be happy to be flexible with my schedule as possible to accommodate your pet care needs! I love to play with pets, encouraging movement and both physical/mental stimulation. I have lots of experience playing with dogs and cats and generally feel very comfortable doing those activities in an engaging and fun way for the animals. I also love walking and have a great time helping dogs get out and about, experience the wonderful smells of the world, and then get home safely for another nap. I understand that pets can be very different in how quickly they want to get to know a new person, so I try to be adaptable based on whether a dog is anxious, excitable, etc.
âAllie was able to come watch my girls on short notice and did such a great job. My girls loved her immediately and she was really thorough with doing everything I had requested. Will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!â

âLitian and Junyi took great care of our cat and the house during our week long trip to Japan. Despite the 16 hour time difference due to our travel, they communicated well and gave us timely update on our cat's status. Our house was take care of as well -- Litian and Junyi voluntarily brought in the garbage bins, and moved any packages inside. We can't be happier with choosing Litian and Junyi. Would gladly hire then again.â

About: I am a stay-at-home-mom, and I absolutely adore dogs. I have grown up around dogs until ultimately I got my children their very own puppy four years ago. Before I got my Golden Doodle/Lab mix, I practiced quite a lot by dog-sitting for neighbors and family. I have housed both large and small dogs, and have experience with puppies all the way up to older pups. I am home doing only part-time work, so I have a lot of time to play with the dogs in my large, fenced yard, and there are several parks nearby (Bridle Trails, Taylor, South Rose Hill and Snyder dog park) where I can walk them and make sure they get plenty of exercise. Dogs are doted on, cuddled, and played with a lot, in my household. I love taking the time to get to know each dog I take care of, and I will work diligently to meet each individual dog's needs and personalities. I am a very active person all year round, so being outdoors with dogs is one of my favorite things. The dogs I care for will be well-attended to, and you can be sure they will have a blast in the large yard, and enjoy plenty of outside time. My children are 9 and 13, and will also heap love on the dogs in the home. The kids will never be left unattended with any dogs, but they are great helpers and assistants. Our dog, Dublin is four years old, and loves all dogs and people. He has a wonderful temperament and has spent quite a bit of time being socialized, and also being boarded in a home with several other dogs. I spent two years training him when he was a puppy and he is just a joy to be aroundâsweet, playful, well-behaved, and flexible. I can accommodate any dog-sleeping preferences. I have a large crate, as long as the dog is crate trained. I also have a dog ledge near the sofa where dogs can lounge, sleep or play with toys, as well as different size dog beds that are cleaned regularly. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and on beds in my home.
âSterling and Beverly are fantastic! They're both wonderful people and took amazing care of our Brin. We even had an unexpected package of groceries show up which they were kind enough to drop off at a food bank.â
Highlands pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alex was a great caretaker for my dogs while my family and I were gone for a night. He visited 4 times for at least 30 minutes each (as promised!) From the introduction meeting and the photo updates he sent, the dogs seemed to really like him. I was so relieved to have someone trustworthy in our home. He is a great guy!

She was fantastic! Her daughter was equally amazing! They communicated well and took great care of my two cats. I was worried about my cats with children, but they absolutely loved her daughter! My cats are a little nervous around new people and they were amazing with respecting the cats boundaries and slowly growing closer. They have so much respect for your pets and your home!

Amy was beyond what we could have asked for. We were in a bind needing a pet sitter who could care for our cat that had just come home from the ER vet. Amy administered subcutaneous fluids, oral antibiotics and medication, and did feedings through a feeding tube for our sweet cat. She even found time to give our other cat all of the attention he needed too. She went above and beyond the call of duty on multiple occasions. She was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding of our situation. We would work with her again in a heartbeat.

This was my first time leaving my rabbits and guinea pigs alone overnight, and Logan took excellent care of them. Logan was very thorough when getting details about caring for my pets and was super attentive toward them during the drop in visits. Thanks so much đĽ°

We love Bailey!! Not only was she was the most amazing sitter for our furbabes, but she even paid attention to the smaller details by cleaning up a few âwell-lovedâ pet spaces in our home while we were away. Sheâs incredibly communicative and so easy to work with, too. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
