About: I am currently new to Rover but I am an experienced dog walker. I have taken care of 10+ dogs in King County and have received many five star reviews regarding my on-demand dog walking service. I understand the body language of dogs and know how to communicate with dogs effectively. I also know the area well and know where to go for walks to ensure a safe and fun experience. I work flexible hours and can easily move things around to do pet care. I am normally available every day except for Sundays. I have done dog walking in the morning, around noon and in the evening. I have done dozens of on-demand dog walking. Every dog is unique. But yet they all share the same need of love and care. I aspire to make the dog walks safe, fun and full of love.

“We were so lucky to have Caroline take care of our cat Dasha while we were on an Alaskan cruise. She is an incredibly sweet person who just radiates calm and kindness, and it only took Dasha about a day or so before she was purring and headbutting and cuddling with Caroline. I left a detailed checklist for Caroline for Dasha's care and feeding and she followed it to the letter, her Rover cards full of details and observations of Dasha's wellbeing as well as sweet photos and videos. She would text and let me know when she arrived, fed Dasha her food with her favorite treats sprinkled on top, scooped her litter box meticulously, and gave Dasha lots of love and attention. I fear that if we book Caroline again, Dasha would cheerfully offer herself up for re-adoption by Caroline, but we'll accept that risk and look forward to rebooking Caroline in the future! :-D”

About: I have years of experience caring for small dogs of all ages, from active puppies to senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications and providing extra care for older dogs with special needs. My friendly, neutered poodle mix loves having canine companions and gets along well with other small dogs. We enjoy daily walks, playtime, and trips to local parks. I provide a safe, loving, and active environment for weekend stays and short visits. Your pup will be treated like family! 🐕💕 I work in the office 4 days per week. Dogs receive two daily walks, along with potty breaks approximately every 4 hours. My home is a dog-friendly apartment community with many resident dogs, so guests should be comfortable riding an elevator and being around other dogs in shared spaces. My friendly poodle mix enjoys companionship, and we make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and a comfortable place to relax. We are best suited for social, adaptable small dogs who enjoy being around people and other pups.

About: Hi! I’m a 28 year old lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the last 10+ years, my family and I have had three Golden Retrievers and two cats, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. My most recent Golden, Bear, sadly passed away from cancer at only six years old. I currently don’t have any pets in my home, and pet sitting has become a really meaningful way for me to share all of the love and attention I still have to give while grieving my boy. ❤️ Before Bear, I had a Golden who became blind at seven years old. Caring for him taught me an incredible amount about patience, adapting to a pet’s individual needs, and helping an animal feel safe and confident. He went on to live a wonderful life until age 13.I live an active lifestyle and especially love caring for dogs who enjoy walks and adventures. One of my favorite things to do is take dogs on long, leisurely walks around downtown Kirkland, stopping at the park, exploring, and making sure they get plenty of time for all the important sniffing! I’m also completely happy tailoring walks and activity levels to your pet’s age, personality, and routine. At home, I’m attentive to the little things that help pets feel comfortable, fresh water every day, following their normal feeding schedule, owner approved treats, lots of affection and playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax. If they enjoy background noise when I’m away, I’ll even leave Animal Planet on for them. Most importantly, I understand that your pet isn’t “just a pet.” They’re a part of your family, your daily life, and your heart. I work full time Monday–Friday from 9–5 in an office, so I’m a great fit for dogs who are comfortable with a typical weekday work schedule. I wake up early to make sure they get a good morning walk, potty break, breakfast, and some quality time before I head to work. After work, I love coming straight home and taking my furry guest out for a nice long walk so we can both decompress from the day! Evenings are spent walking, playing, relaxing, and giving them plenty of attention. On the weekends, it’s all about the dog! One of my favorite Friday night routines is heading to downtown Kirkland for a long leisurely walk, exploring the waterfront and parks, getting lots of sniffing time in, and enjoying the evening together. I’m very active, but I always tailor walks and activities to each dog’s age, energy level, and normal routine. When your pet stays with me, I plan my free time around them, they won’t just be an addition to my weekend plans; they’re part of the plans. My one bedroom condo is in a quiet North Kirkland community with plenty of grassy potty areas, walking paths, trails, and nearby parks. My unit is on the first floor and directly across the walking path from a large grassy area, which makes quick potty breaks especially easy in the mornings, evenings, or before bed. I currently have no pets of my own, so your pet will receive lots of individual attention while staying with me. They will be cared for exclusively by me and my boyfriend, who is also a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs. He helped care for my Golden Retriever, Bear, throughout his six years of life and also helped care for my senior Golden during the final four years of his life after he became blind. He is incredibly gentle with animals and is usually the first person to get down on the floor for some cuddles and relaxation. ❤️ My home is secure and pet-friendly, and being on the first floor makes coming and going especially convenient for dogs of all ages. In the summer, I have air conditioning and a ceiling fan to keep pets comfortable, and in the winter my home stays warm and cozy with heat and an electric fireplace. Safety and trust are my top priorities. Dogs remain securely leashed outside, and I’m very attentive to our surroundings while walking, especially around traffic, intersections, other dogs, and busy roads. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, walking habits, anxieties, and any special instructions their family provides. I’m also the Vice President of my condo community’s HOA and take pride in helping make our community welcoming and considerate of pet owners. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my home while giving you peace of mind that they’re being cared for like family.

About: I am loving and someone you can trust. I do my best to understand them and meet their needs. I love them all as if they were my own babies. I help them take them out and about and meet their needs. If they are happy with me, I will be happy too. Rest assured. My priority is their safety and happiness. I take care of everything about them myself. I don't let them walk in places I don't find safe. I take them home safely and hand them over to their family.

About: I love dogs. There are no more loving and positive creatures on this earth and I strive to return the love they show right back to them. Although I have no professional dog care experience, I've had a pet dog for most of my life and before I had a real dog to care for I cared for an imaginary dog as well. My first dog was a beagle named Sparkey and I currently have a shih tzu named Harley. I've also cared for my sister's large American Bulldog, Marley, on several occasions. Not to mention the fact that my second middle name is Roch, the patron saint of dogs and dog lovers. I love dogs and strongly believe there is no such thing as a bad dog. I am patient and caring with dogs and will ensure proper, loving care to any dog entrusted to me. I know how much I love my dogs and would treat any dog under my care as if they were my own. I don't mean to sound arrogant but I think dogs love me. Dogs are an excellent judge of character and most dogs trust me immediately. I know basic dog care knowledge, but plan on learning more. I'm currently reading the book "Inside of a Dog" a book about the thought process of a dog which gives the reader a better understanding of dogs. I also plan on learning doggy CPR if I receive enough clients. I'm going to be graduating from college in May and am currently in the job hunt, so I'm looking for a little bit of extra income during the summer. I currently am only coaching a local swim team which the middle part of my day is very open to caring for dogs. I do have a dog of my own who I walk everyday after I get home from coaching morning practice, so I will always be available after I care for him.
