I met Liz when I was fostering a dog I couldn’t continue to care for long term and was searching for someone I trusted to step in as a new foster mom. After an extensive search, Liz was the only person I found who made me feel comfortable enough to hand over my sweet gal (who was loving and charming, but had a number of behavioral challenges that required an experienced caretaker). I felt like I’d found a unicorn! Liz is tremendously skilled at understanding dogs, recognizing their individual needs, and putting them at ease by providing personalized care. She is kind and communicative (with dogs and humans alike), not to mention that her serene home, big yard and adjacent trails are paradise for pups. About: I have been a dog mom for the past 15 years, I have looked after friends and families pups when they are on vacation, I am THEE “dog auntie” in my circle😁, and my family is always happy to have pup guests over, and we enjoy meeting new pups, and my oldies love making new friends. Full time stay at home pup mom. I retired from my investment banking job in 2020 so I could spend more time with my pups— they are all seniors now so they need my 100% attention. My time is flexible but I would like early notices for booking since I have a gym schedule and enjoy out hiking with my dog. Early request is the best way to get on my schedule😁 3 lovely senior pups at home, we will take the pups out on trail for walks, which is just 1 mins away. We also have a fenced in courtyard for late night potty trips.

Nora is warm, caring, and obviously has a love of animals. She explained her services clearly, and we walked her through feeding and medication he takes. She let us know she’d also spend time with him, came twice each day, and even took in our garbage cans, and packages left on porch. Each day we received a text with pictures of our very happy, purring cat. He rarely lets anyone hold or pet him, but Nora has a special touch! About: I have extensive experience with raising and training dogs throughout my whole life. I’ve always been relied on to walk, feed, bathe and watch friends and family dogs when they go on vacation. I work from home, so I have the flexibility to do multiple walks per day if necessary, and stay home with the pup so they don’t get anxious. I live in a gated safe apartment complex, with plenty of access to walking paths, grassy areas and lots of room in my actual apartment for the dog to feel comfortable.

She knows how to stay stern with them to remind them of who’s in charge but is also always so kind and has so much love to give. About: I've grown up all my life with furry friends: hamsters, chinchillas, parrots, rabbits, cats, and dogs. They truly add sweetness to my life. When I was a kid, I remember obsessively watching Animal Planet and reading all of my library book's about pet care and training. I was able to help train my dogs through advanced obedience classes, Canine Good Citizen test, and therapy dog training through positive reinforcement, mental enrichment, trust building, and having fun! My bonds with them have been some of the most fulfilling parts of my life. I've raised my pets throughout all their life stages, as well as helping care for friends' and neighbors' pets, all of a variety of sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments, and special needs. I'd love the privilege to do the same for you. My dog Pearl is my cherished adventure buddy all across the PNW, but I too have trips I cannot take her on. I understand the stress and worry of finding care for your furry friends when those events arise, and I will strive the best I can to ease your and your pet's worries with quality care and communication, and treat them as I'd want mine to be treated. "In Hawaiian, you don't call yourself your pet's owner. You are their kahu. Kahu has many meanings, among them: guardian, protector, steward, beloved attendant—basically, someone entrusted with the safekeeping of something precious, something cherished. What a Kahu protects is not their property. What they protect is a part of their soul." I'm currently on a break from full-time work and school, so I have a lot of time and love to give! I do part-time contract work completely remotely from home, so I can be home a lot during the day to keep your pet company and give frequent walks, potty breaks, and playtime. There will just be brief times they would need to be alone if I need to go out to run errands. In that case, I request that your dog is crate trained, primarily for their safety for the brief time that I can't supervise them. I can also accommodate for very early or late drop-off and pickup times. My apartment is dog-proofed with all safety precautions considered. All possible escape routes are blocked off. Dogs will only be leashed when let out and followed their prescribed routine and given their specified food. I only take one client at a time, so your dog(s) will have my full individualized attention. Pearl is very sweet and mild-mannered, but I'll always supervise all dogs' interactions together. I send daily photo updates about your dog's activities and well-being, and am available by phone/text/app messaging any time. I reside between Redmond, Bellevue, and Kirkland in a very safe gated complex. Your dog will love the park-like setting of the complex with a long walking trail surrounded by beautiful flowering greenery and a pond. They will not be taken out of the complex (e.g. to a dog park) due to the risks involved.
