I have been lucky enough to grow up in a house full of animals, and all of my favorite childhood memories center around them! We have rescued dogs, the occasional cat, and even cared for horses and competed in a few horse shows! When I was about 10 years old we rescued a pregnant dog. I remember so vividly her having her 2 puppies, unfortunately only one survived. That puppy was my best friend for the last 20 years. She was there for my high school graduation, college graduation, my wedding, and a cross country move.
