About: I love both dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I am an alumnus of UW with a BA in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. I grew up around dogs and cats pretty much all my life until I moved to Seattle for school. I how sit for my friend’s pets when they go out of town and spend a lot of time with the pets when I commit to feeding and caring for the animals. In my family we have had a range of dog sizes from mini pins up to pit bulls and boxers. He is incredibly gentle with animals and is usually the first person to get down on the floor for some cuddles and relaxation. ❤️ My home is secure and pet-friendly, and being on the first floor makes coming and going especially convenient for dogs of all ages. In the summer, I have air conditioning and a ceiling fan to keep pets comfortable, and in the winter my home stays warm and cozy with heat and an electric fireplace. Dogs remain securely leashed outside, and I’m very attentive to our surroundings while walking, especially around traffic, intersections, other dogs, and busy roads. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, walking habits, anxieties, and any special instructions their family provides. I’m also the Vice President of my condo community’s HOA and take pride in helping make our community welcoming and considerate of pet owners. About: I work remotely with a flexible schedule. I have had dogs in our family ever almost 20 years. Our family dogs passed away recently and we don’t plan to adopt another one. About: Our dog Sugar passed away in May 2026 after we had her for 13.5 years. She was our constant companion and now we miss the pitter patter of feet in the house. We're not ready to adopt a dog yet, but we would love to watch dogs for others to bring some life back to our home and to have the chance to spoil a little furry baby again. We took great care of Sugar when we had her. We gave her the best diets as her body changed, brushed her teeth daily, took her on 1-2 walks a day, and brought her on car rides which were her favorite. We gained a lot of experience taking care of her, especially as she aged. We've watched friends' dogs many times and also fostered one pup. We would love to watch yours and give them all the cuddles! For larger dogs, we prefer non shedding breeds due to some slight allergies. We both work from home everyday and always take a walk after lunch if the weather is good. We have a fenced yard where we can let your dog out to potty and sniff all the good smells. Our house has very easy access to the outside with no kid or pets. Dogs can go anywhere in the house and on the furniture if they like that. We can also put up a wall to prevent them from going up the stairs if you prefer. My default is to give updates daily about how they're doing, eating, and pooping, but if you need more or less than that, I can accommodate!

About: I love both dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I am an alumnus of UW with a BA in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. I grew up around dogs and cats pretty much all my life until I moved to Seattle for school. I how sit for my friend’s pets when they go out of town and spend a lot of time with the pets when I commit to feeding and caring for the animals. In my family we have had a range of dog sizes from mini pins up to pit bulls and boxers. I am willing to take the dogs on long walks or short walks and spend time with them at a dog park if that is an option for the dog as well.
