About: My name is Edie and I started Rover back in 2019 while I was in college. I have a lot of experience as both a dog and cat owner. Growing up, I had Scottish Terriers in my family. Today, I’m the proud mom of two kitties! I will pay special attention to any instructions you give to make sure your pet is getting the same care that you would be giving them. I'm looking forward to meeting many cute and wonderful pups and kitties! I live in Kirkland (Juanita) and am currently doing pet care full time while I am making a career transition. “Kira was an amazing dog sitter! One of our dogs has separation anxiety, and Kira did a great job keeping her calm and cared for. They also asked a lot of great questions to make sure they had all of the information they needed about our dogs while we were gone. They sent us pictures of the dogs and gave status updates while we were gone which was really appreciated! They were very flexible with time too, I was able to book them with just a few days notice, and had to stay out later than expected which was no problem for them. “Madeleine is the best sitter you could hope to book if she is in your area. This is my 4th or 5th time having Madeleine sit for Mona. I was really anxious about this trip because I was going out of the country for the first time and it was also the longest. Madeleine and I were communicating the whole time. Mona has a tendency to get fussy with food when I'm not around and Madeleine was super communicative about when Mona was being that way! We were in constant contact and responses were quick. She told me about the good things and the bad things and it was VERY clear how much Madeleine loved Mona! The house was PERFECT when I came home and Mona was very obviously loved the whole time. She was so healthy and happy when I got back. I will say this every time Madeleine sits for Mona but seriously book. Zero question. 1000000/10 will book again and again.”

Kira was perfect for Cocoa! They bonded right away and seemed to have a great time together. They also kept up training that we had done with her. Kira was responsive, helpful, followed the instructions we had and left our home as clean as we left it. We came home to a happy dog!
I can’t say enough good things about Sophia! She dog sat for us last minute for our puppy and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She was so kind and loving towards our little guy. She sent us lots of photo and video updates and was very conscientious about continuing his routine and potty training. She was also very clean and respectful of our space and left the house pristine! We would definitely book Sophia again in a heartbeat!
Leaving our "guys" (two very large mixed breeds, seniors) with Cory worked out wonderfully. We were gone for eleven days - out of the country - and didn't worry for a moment. We were confident that they were fed, cared for, and had plenty of walk and playtime with him. Peace of mind is precious. Nice to know that Rover has the pet owner's back.
Brandon was great! He was able to fit us in with pretty short notice, and took wonderful care of our pets. We received multiple picture updates and our pup got a couple of walks, which was more than expected. We have a full yard and we were only gone 24 hours. So I’d say he went above and beyond. We are looking forward to working with Brandon again.
I will make this review very plain and simple. Ra is the BEST dog walker/house sitter I have ever used on Rover!! She went above and beyond my expectations which are very high when it comes to taking care of Howie while I am traveling. She was very caring and conscientious of Howie's needs. Howie is a friendly, high energy labradoodle that needs 2 walks per day. She is also an excellent pet photographer and took some amazing sunset pictures of Howie. She introduced Howie to a new playmate Sadie and brought her over to play with Howie in the backyard. Howie is a very picky eater and she suggested a new food topper for his meals which he loved! I would highly recommend Ra for any pet care needs!!
Katie is fantastic! Our dog and home were well cared for while we were away. She was great at communicating and sent pictures. She even offered to drop back in to care for our pup when our flight was delayed. We will definitely see if she is available for future trips.
Jean and Elena house sat for us for 10 days taking care of our two dogs and two cats. They went above and beyond expectations! Each pet was given personal attention and cared for so dearly. I felt my dog had good care . Isabella was such a good communicator in every way -sent photos daily and took him on lovely walks every day ,I felt he was very well cared for during our time away and would definitely have her pet sit again and recommend her highly

We wholeheartedly give Shayna five stars! 🌟 She’s a true professional and has experience working with clients with complex needs (we are also “particular” parents 🤓): Her detailed updates and frame-worthy photos were beyond what we could have hoped for. She cared for our two velcro pups — our older, well-behaved one and our younger, rambunctious, slower-to-trust puppy — with such warmth. She kept to the feeding schedule and complex instructions (we premake and weigh out their food and feed every 5 hours 3x day), gave plenty of potty breaks, and added lots of playtime. She also handled feedback with ease when we asked for less peanut butter on the lick pads, and she even shared news when it wasn’t ideal such as one one of our pups getting sick from too much peanut butter 😅 When we returned, the house was tidier than we left it ✨ (blankets folded, dishes washed, and even helped bring our bins to the curb since we’d be gone over the long weekend). We couldn’t ask for a better partner in caring for our dogs. We’re already booked with Shayna again for house sitting and drop in visits. She’s on her way to becoming a trusted presence and we’re even teaching our pups who “Miss Shana” is 💖

Cisco has been an absolute pleasure to have as our go to cat & house sitter. He did an amazing job caring for our two cats, and keeping us updated with tons of photos which we absolutely loved to see while we were away. It’s very rare to find someone who has such a compassionate and deep love for all animals and it really shows - Cisco was detailed orientated when we explained about our cats medical history and his prior experience caring for other cats made us feel reassured.
