I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Alaskan Malamutes, Pekingese, and Shih Tzus. I'm a full-time stay-at-home person, so your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My daily routine includes grocery runs and walks near the beach, giving your pup lots of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and fun. I live in 1,000 sq ft apartment. The apartment has a fenced small dog park and also a big public dog park across of the apartment. I have AC in my apartment.

I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and individualized attention throughout the day. Because I spend a lot of time at home, I am able to closely monitor pets for any changes in behavior, appetite, or activity level and respond quickly if needed. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos so owners can feel confident and connected while their pets are in my care. My apartment is kept very clean and sanitized regularly to help maintain a healthy environment and minimize the risk of illness transmission. There are also two dog parks nearby, providing convenient opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor activities when appropriate for each dog's needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

About: Our dog is now five years old, and pets have always been an important part of our family. We know how much love, attention, and care they deserve because we've experienced it firsthand. We treat every pet like they're our own and are committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. We are at home full time! We will be around to play with your pet, feed it, go on walks, make sure it has access to the backyard, and have lots of fun! In our home, pets have access to our fenced backyard, where they can go potty when they feel like it. We have a pet door so they don’t have to wait on us. We feed and walk them on their schedule so we don’t disrupt their routine. We make sure water is always available, and have cuddle and play time!

“Dropped Milo for the first time in years with someone he didn’t know, not to mention in an environment he had never been to. Travis greeted us with a smile and took Milo inside to spend the day with him. I received frequent updates (including pics) which made me feel at ease knowing that my fur baby was in good hands. He cared for him like he was his own, he had full reign of all his favorite areas….sofa and on Travis’ lap :). When I came to pick him up he seemed very calm and happy. About: Our dog Sugar passed away in May 2026 after we had her for 13.5 years. She was our constant companion and now we miss the pitter patter of feet in the house. We're not ready to adopt a dog yet, but we would love to watch dogs for others to bring some life back to our home and to have the chance to spoil a little furry baby again. We took great care of Sugar when we had her. We gave her the best diets as her body changed, brushed her teeth daily, took her on 1-2 walks a day, and brought her on car rides which were her favorite. We gained a lot of experience taking care of her, especially as she aged. We've watched friends' dogs many times and also fostered one pup. We would love to watch yours and give them all the cuddles! We both work from home everyday and always take a walk after lunch if the weather is good. We have a fenced yard where we can let your dog out to potty and sniff all the good smells. Our house has very easy access to the outside with no kid or pets. Dogs can go anywhere in the house and on the furniture if they like that. We can also put up a wall to prevent them from going up the stairs if you prefer. My default is to give updates daily about how they're doing, eating, and pooping, but if you need more or less than that, I can accommodate!

About: I've been around dogs since I was three -- my family has had one for as long as I can remember. Our last was a Bichon Frise we brought home at six months old and loved until she passed at almost sixteen. Because I was older by then, I took on much more of her day-to-day care, and I learned to train alongside her as she learned to be a better-behaved dog. Her senior years also taught me a lot about patience, medication schedules, and the small adjustments older dogs need. I have less experience with cats, but several friends have them and I've looked after theirs while they were out of town. I enjoy their company and respect that they have their own personalities, quite different from dogs. Whether your pet is a bouncy puppy, a set-in-their-ways senior, or a cat who'd rather I keep my distance, my family would love to care for them like they're our own companion animal. Either my husband or I are home most of the day with our two-year-old son, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. Our days already run on his schedule -- quite frequent neighborhood walks, meals and potty breaks at consistent times, and plenty of activity in between. I'm happy to follow your dog's own routine instead if you send it along; consistency matters more than convenience. One note: with a small child at home, we're a better fit for dogs who are comfortable around kids. He's gentle and used to dogs, and I never leave the two unsupervised -- but if yours would rather not share space with a two-year-old, we may not be the right match. In my home, dogs are part of the household rather than guests kept at arm's length. Before a stay I put away anything a curious dog shouldn't reach (e.g. toddler toys, small objects, houseplants, cleaning supplies) and I ask ahead about counter-surfing or trash habits so I can plan around them. Our yard isn't fenced, so outdoor time is always supervised with your dog leashed or on a long line with me. I keep a consistent routine for meals, medication, and potty breaks, and I'll send photos and updates through the day. If a dog seems overwhelmed, I give them a quiet space to decompress rather than pushing them to socialize. In your home, I follow your instructions closely and treat your space with care -- doors and gates double-checked, everything left as I found it. I'd rather ask than guess, so I'll want to know feeding amounts, walk routes, which rooms are off-limits, and what your dog does when anxious. I'll also ask for your vet's information and an emergency contact before the first visit. Either way, I know where the nearest 24-hour emergency vet is, and I'll contact you right away if anything seems off. I'd rather over-communicate than have you find out later.
