“Jessica is now our go to dog sitter. We have been able to enjoy a lot more worry free nights out without the dogs knowing she's home with them. She's absolutely wonderful with our dogs and they get so excited to see her.”

“Aryana is wonderful and I will 100% be hiring her again for dog sitting! She sent great updates and my dog Ash looked SO happy and comfortable with her in photos. She went above and beyond to give my dog enriching days that included all his favorite things. Aryana was comfortable staying with Ash who has some special needs and sensitivity to being handled. She is clearly very intuitive with dogs and built trust immediately with him. She sent me a picture of him lying on his back on the couch in a state of total bliss. I knew he was in good hands!”

“Jean was very quick to respond and great to work with. She made the extra trip to our house for a meet and greet prior to caring for our pup. We will definitely use her again!”

“Robert was ABSOLUTELY fabulous! He was patient, thoughtful, and really communicative. From the moment we requested a sitter until after the service was complete, he was swift to respond, sent lots of pictures, and kept us updated on all the pet care rituals. He did not flinch when the breaker needed to be reset during a housesit, and he took such wonderful care of our tankgirl, Bailey. 5 stars, 2 thumbs way up, and a 3 snaps in Z formation! Highly recommend.”

“We adopted our 3rd cat the week before we left! Valerie was great she took our dog every where with her and keep up with all that needs to be done with 3 cats, dog and the wild brids! She texted us regularly to keep us updated! I would highly recommend but I want to save her for my animals!”
“Barbara was fantastic! She did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs and aquarium. One of our dogs is very nervous around new people and by the end of Barbara's stay, the dog was comfortable with her. She provide updates daily and did not hesitate when any instructions were unclear. I will definitely book with Barbara again.”

“You need to book with Katie. Katie is amazing. I ended up needing someone last minute and luckily she was available. She was flexible and accommodating so we could fit in a meet and greet prior to the booking dates. Katie took care of my two dogs and two cats. One of my dogs is shy and hesitant around new people and Katie was patient and won her over. I felt like Katie was very communicative and responsive. There were also few things Katie did around our house (without us making a request for her to do) that made it feel like she went above and beyond. I will definitely be booking with Katie again in the future.”

“Stephani was such a wonderful sitter for our handful of dogs, that have their various needs (i.e., prescriptions) and strong personalities being huskies. Our doggos seemed instantly calm with her during the meet and greet, and when we returned they didn't want to leave her side. We are so appreciative of her staying with them and giving them such love and care!”

About: Hi, I’m Cortney ☺️ I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, leash handling, enrichment, and safely managing a reactive dog. Through caring for other dogs, I’ve gained experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and individual needs. Cats have been part of my pet care experience for years, and I love getting to know each one’s individual personality and routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, or a senior, I take the time to understand what helps them feel most comfortable and adjust my care to what works best for them. I have a flexible schedule and offer dog walks, drop-in visits, non-overnight house sitting, and extended daytime care in your home. I’m currently working toward making dog walking and pet sitting my full-time focus, and I’m available for both recurring weekly care and occasional visits. I can work with you to create a schedule that fits your pet’s normal routine, whether they need regular walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, or a little extra attention while you’re away. When available, I can also provide transportation to grooming appointments, daycare, boarding, or veterinary visits. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I make communication a priority. You can expect plenty of photos and thoughtful updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort and will adjust walks or activities as needed based on weather, energy level, and individual needs.

“Tyler was super responsive and attentive to the needs of the dog. He took amazing care of our home and ensured our instructions were executed to a t. I would recommend him to anyone else in the future”

“Elizabeth was incredible and flexible! I was going to my brothers funeral in another state. I wasn't worried about my house or my animals for 1 second. She is a very sweet girl and I will be using her in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for caring for your fur babies! Your the best Elizabeth!!!”

“Veronika was great with Baxter. He was happy to see us but we could tell he was well loved and cared for by her. She sent pics and expressed a small concern (which we appreciated ) but turned out just fine. When we returned, it was like he was looking for her to walk in with us. We will definitely book her again.”

“Liz took great care of my two pit bulls while I was away. I have hired her twice and would definitely look to her to take care of my dogs again in the future.”

“Lauren was great! She stayed in my home with my senior pup and I knew he was well cared for. She was great with communication and would absolutely have her watch my boy again. Thanks Lauren!”

“Morgan is such a delightful human! One of my dogs was fresh out of surgery and needing constant supervision and reassurance and my other dog has separation anxiety and is very anxious with new people. My older dog loved her instantly and my younger warmed up to her so quickly! It’s very apparent that she’s a fantastic pet parent and brings that same love and care to any dog she’s watching. I felt very comfortable leaving them with her. I came back later to find them all snuggled up together, my dogs sleeping peacefully on her lap. They were so sad when she left!”

About: Had cats and dogs since I was small, only really started taking care of them fully when I was about eight. Then we also had chickens who I loved dearly, and have since loved. Now I have been petting sitting word of mouth for a lot of people, taking care of large and small dogs, cats, cows, donkeys, chickens, goats and more! I love animals dearly and its a huge honor whenever someone lets me take care of their darlings. I am a graduate student who has an open schedule outside of writing work. Which I can do while taking care of your critters. My other responsibilities are too my baby sisters and making sure im not leaving the house empty. I love taking dogs on walks through the neighborhood and giving indoor cats the play time they desire. I always clean up after any messes and can do more if the client desires. For large animals I will do mucking, brushing and other chores you might need. I will only let dogs off leash in fenced dog parks, otherwise we walk together and enjoy the woods. Animal boundaries make a lot of sense to me so I'm good at giving animals space when they need it. Grumpy cats end up being my friend more times than not.
About: I love taking care of dogs, nothing is more rewarding than figuring out what makes a dog love you! My name is Adrian and I’ve had pets since before I could count, I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs in the past and am looking forward to meeting yours! I work in contracting so hours are flexible, available to play with your pup anytime! As work picks up my schedule will change but at the moment I will take care of your pet as if it was my own! Am able to go on long walks with your dog and am very attentive to each individual dogs needs.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woodinville
Sarah is such a sweetheart and really cared for our senior dog. She listened to our requests and was serious about our dog’s needs. She sent us pictures and provided updates while we were away. She also left our house cleaner than when she arrived. Sarah provided us the peace of mind we needed to attend a family event without worrying about our dog.

Elizabeth really came through for me when I was out of the country and the sitter I had booked had to leave early. She was on-time, gave great updates and my dogs love her! I was able to relax and enjoy the last day of my vacation knowing that my doggies were being well cared for and attended to.

Thank you Barb for your care of my doggo. I appreciate you keeping me updated on how he was doing while I was gone and always checking in if something came up that you thought I should know. I know he was well- cared for which allowed me to have a worry free vacation!

Christine is absolutely amazing! She sent us loads of photos and updates the whole time we were away. This was especially important since we were dropping off our daughter at college for the first time and it was very hard to leave her dog she’s known as a kindergartener. Christine knew the stakes! I’d book her again in a heartbeat.

Kellie was a wonderful sitter for our little Coco. She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures everyday so we could make sure Coco was doing well, and took great care of our home. We were fortunate to find her and will definitely use her again in the future.

Cory was absolutely wonderful with Cody! He took such great care of him while we were away, including taking him on beach walks and sending us lots of pictures and updates. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Cody was happy and well cared for in his own home. We came home to a happy pup! We would absolutely book with Cory again and highly recommend him!

Cortney watched our 11 year old Lab while my wife and I were away for the weekend, and we couldn't have been more pleased. For an older dog, he has lots of energy, and he was tired and calm when we returned from all the attention he received. We'd recommend Cortney to anyone who wants peace of mind while they're away from their pets and we plan on booking her again soon!

Our dogs loved Sam. Our dogs are older and we were anxious about leaving them with somebody new. But Sam’s experience and her interactions with our pups during the meet and greet, helped put our minds at ease. She was a great communicator prior to our trip and sent daily updates with pictures. When I arrived home, the dogs and the house were well taken care of. We will definitely use Sam’s services again.

Robert was ABSOLUTELY fabulous! Highly recommend.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodinville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodinville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodinville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
