About: I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, leash handling, enrichment, and safely managing a reactive dog. Through caring for other dogs, I’ve also gained experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and individual needs. I’ve also cared for cats for years and love getting to know each pet’s individual personality and routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, or a senior, I take the time to understand what helps them feel most comfortable. I have a flexible schedule and offer dog walks, drop-in visits, non-overnight house sitting, and extended daytime care in your home. I’m happy to work with you to create a care schedule that fits your pet’s normal routine, whether they need walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, companionship, or a little extra attention while you’re away. When available, I can also provide transportation to grooming appointments, daycare, boarding, or veterinary visits. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I make communication a priority. You can expect plenty of photos and thoughtful updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort and will adjust walks or activities as needed based on weather, energy level, and individual needs.
