“Kaitlin was great with Ruffle! We got regular updates and photos. When our flight got late she was super accommodating and kept him 2 hours later than we had planned for.”

“This was a very last minute booking and it couldn't have been a better experience for my pup. Qintian provided excellent updates with pictures, and was very nurturing to Kenna aka Peppi.”

“Amazing!!! Can't say enough good things. I got constant updates, and she's super observant and attentive, very communicative, and puts you at ease knowing your fur baby is being spoiled while your way. Jiyeon loves and enjoys pups and it clearly shows in the care she provides. Can't imagine a better place for my dog to have stayed!”

“Rochelle and Eric were absolutely incredible dogsitters. I am always nervous leaving Koda with someone new as hes a bit shy and anxious bur he warmed right up to them after out meet and greet and settled in quickly after drop off. Rochelle was extremely communicative and kept me updated while we were gone and it truly gave me so much peace of mind during my travels. I would definitely recommend Rochelle and I plan on seeking them out again for future care!”

“Shauna and Tim just watched our fur baby, Kal, and they were absolutely amazing! After having a bad boarding experience with another sitter we were a bit anxious about leaving Kal with anyone, but Shauna and Tim totally eased our worries! We did a meet and greet before booking boarding and it was so clear that they are great with dogs and made Kal feel comfortable right away. When we came back to drop Kal off for boarding he ran up to their house with his tail wagging a million miles a minute and immediately melted into Shauna’s arms. Throughout the whole process they were super communicative and they sent tons of photos and updates during Kal’s stay. Thank you both so much!”

“Justin was wonderful with Cooper! He was super friendly and made us feel at ease right away. He took Cooper on plenty of walks, handled all of his little tantrums with patience, and kept us updated with plenty of photos throughout the day. When we picked him up, Cooper was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. We’d definitely trust Justin again with Cooper!”

“Candra was amazing! She did a wonderful job with our pup…he was well taken care of and we didn’t worry at all. Very excited to have finally found a forever sitter for our puppy.”

About: As a pet owner I know the pain of trying to find someone who will care for your beloved pet the way you would while away. I know how hard it can be to find care for pets with regular exercise needs. I am not a professional kennel or dog training. I am a dog mom who will love your pets like they are my own and ensure they have all their needs taken care of while they are in my home. I’ve been around pets for most of my life. My family had pets growing up, and as an adult I’ve pet sit for family and friends for over 20 years. I finally became a pet parent myself in 2022 to a mixed breed cattle dog named Teddy Bear. It was love at first sight, despite our rough start due to issues from him being labeled as a lab mix. I’ve learned from experience that breed matters when it comes to ensuring your dog’s physical as well as emotional needs are properly met. We delt with behavior issues, as well as anxiety, and food issues as Teddy moved through his “teens”. I hired a private trainer only weeks after adopting Teddy, and to this day we still participate in a variety of group training classes through most of the year. Teddy is excellent at Nose work/Scent work and loves the mental stimulation. These training lessons have taught me a lot about patience when working with dogs as well as how to work with dogs on their own level and through their style of communication. Teddy passed the Canine Good Citizen Test at only 9 months old! My motto is you are always training. I use the skills learned in the years of lessons whenever I am around dogs and it’s made me quite popular at the dog parks. My dog goes to hunt bunnies, and I go to pet all the dogs that seem naturally to be drawn to me. I only accept the dogs from 1 home at a time. Your pets will be a part of my family as long as they are under my roof. My life revolves around my dog. Teddy is a fairly high energy dog and this means lots of physical and mental stimulation is required. So we walk everyday rain, shine, or even snow! Unless the weather isn’t safe to be outside, we walk. If your dog isn’t as high energy, that is ok. We typically go places your dog can rest and enjoy the smells while Teddy gets his energy out. I have a hybrid work schedule and generally am in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-5pm. My schedule is flexible though so if I know I have to be gone in the evening, I change up my days in the office so I can be home with my dog during the day. I feed the dogs 2x per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I have a large fully fenced backyard, and a dog door so the pups can freely roam between inside and out. It’s a bit of a dogs paradise with lots of birds and squirrels roaming about for them to keep tabs on. I do have a medium-large sized crate for dogs that need to be crated. And feed everyone in separate spaces. The couch under my living room window is now permanently the “dogs couch”. Teddy is very good at sharing his toys and beds. There is an overabundance of dog beds throughout my house. My house used to be clean, but then I got a dog. The house now belongs to Teddy and I just live here among his beds and toys. Teddy is great with dogs of all sizes and most temperaments. I describe him as aloof but friendly. He can be playful in spirts if other dogs initiate, and while he loves being around other dogs, is very independent. The only exceptions to his easy-going persona are aggressive dogs, or dogs that have a higher than usual tendency to resource guard. For this reason I cannot except non neutered males as pretty much every instance of aggression we have come across was with a non neutered male. Regardless of size. My neighbors on 2 sides do have dogs as well. So your dogs would meet them through the fence. We have 4 legged friends over on a regular basis, and the neighbor dogs generally love greeting the new friends so long as they are not aggressive. I do allow dogs on my bed as long as I'm not sleeping. My experience has been dogs tend to lay exactly where my legs need to be. So, I usually kick them off just before turning off the lights to allow myself use of my own bed. But if your dog is happy to stay on the other side of the bed without trying to take over my side, they can stay.
“Royce had an extended stay and we are always at ease that he has such personalized care and attention. He is treated as part of their family and loves playing with the other dogs. Jane communicates daily and we love seeing the pics and videos. Royce had a great time at summer camp!”

“Michelle and Brian were great with our 4 month old pup. They sent regular updates and were very easy to communicate with. Our pup came home tired and happy!”

“Karen was a great dog sitter for our dog Daisy. She kept us informed throughout our vacation on how she was doing and even sent us a video. This was the first time she took care of Daisy and she did a great job.”

“Fiona was so loving toward my Coco and cared for him like her own. Coco felt safe with her right away and there was miraculously no separation anxiety at drop off! I received adequate communication on my trip and was thrilled to pick up a very happy and clean pup at the end of a whole week. Thank you Fiona!”

“My dog momo loved staying over at Liz’s house with her family and their dog lucky. I received plenty of photos and videos everyday and momo was happily playing around with lucky. Highly recommend Li.”

“Kelly & Karen were awesome! Kelly made sure to send daily photos & was very responsive overall. They were also flexible with pick up/ drop off times. Maggie enjoyed her stay!”

“Mary was so nice to accept our request on a very short notice and Oakley had a great time! He and Chloe started playing together immediately and became quick friends! Thank you very much, Mary!”

“Mike took excellent care of my dog. He kindly accepted my request even when it was relatively last minute and he responds QUICK. I appreciate his promptness and communication. My dog came home tired and happy! Will gladly let him dog sit again! Thanks mike!”

“Natalia was very communicative throughout her entire stint caring for my boys. She sent thorough updates of their mood & temperament & how they were interacting with her. Also lots of photos! Even my shy girl came out to play with her cus she saw my boy cat having so much fun playing with Natalia. She cleaned the box routinely & filled up my cats fountain like I asked her to!”

“Mike is very responsible sitter and help give love to MianMian as much as he can. We communicated well over the phone and he followed the instructions to take care of MianMian.”

“Brooke was an excellent sitter for our cat Dandelion (who's usually pretty fussy). She took great care in acquainting herself, as well as ensuring he got a good play session and grooming while we were away”

“Billie did an amazing job caring for our two large Golden Retrievers. They can be a lot to handle, but she was completely confident managing walks, feeding, and keeping them happy and calm. She is very responsible, communicative, and genuinely loves the dogs she cares for. She also shared updates and photos, which really helped us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Billie to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and capable sitter especially if you have larger or more energetic dogs.”

“Elizabeth did a great job taking care of our cat. Very detailed updates and just all around great service. I will definitely try to book her again during our next travels”

“Rachel is awesome, very dependable and provides solid updates. She was very reliable and took great care of our 2 cats. She went above and beyond, eased our minds during our vacation and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care provided. Rachel is truly top notch and I highly recommend her!”

“Amy was absolutely awesome! We have 5 cats, we needed 3 visits/day, and one of the kitties is sick and needs medicine. Amy took care of everything superbly, sent us updates several times a day and we didn't need to worry about a thing.”

“I do not know if I can adequately describe how I feel about Kimberly. She is not "just a sitter on Rover" - Kimberly has become part of our extended family. As with many pet owners, it can be hard to hand over the care of pets to anyone, let alone someone you do not know. That was how I felt when I first reached out to Kimberly. We recently relocated to the greater Seattle area, and one of the hardest parts of the move was finding a new sitter who could live up to the one we had in Canada. I had heard of Rover and, with some deep investigating, found Kimberly. I reached out; she quickly responded, met us in person and answered all our questions. We set off on our trip and received daily updates and photos. I know the updates are a part of the protocol, but Kimberly does it wholeheartedly. Coming home, our fur kids were happy and content, which was a great welcome. That was almost a year ago, and our relationship keeps getting better. We now plan our getaways around Kimberly's schedule as best as we can! Thank you, Kimberly, for the love you show our family and for being a part of ours - we are the lucky ones! Michaella”

“Allison was awesome and she was very punctual and she cared for my furbabies as if they were her own! She attended to all of their needs!! And she understood their personalities and that made me know that she was the one for them!! We’re looking forward to seeing her on our next booking for January!!! Thank you very much a million times! She rocks!!!🤲😻😇🎁🤗💯😎”

“Always follows directions, takes good care of my cat, and leaves my home in good condition! I always trust Kendal whenever I need someone to take care of my cat while I’m gone!”

“Alexa did a great job dealing with some challenges that we didn’t properly prepare her for. Our cats had unprecedented diarrhea and vomiting that began just as we left, and Alexa gave us updates on their condition and was ready to take them to the vet if they didn’t approve (thankfully they did!). Additionally, our furnace shut off for some reason and Alexa communicated with us that the house was quite cold. She came everyday and scooped the cats litter and changed their pee pads, even though we forgot to tell her where the garbage bags were. Thank you!”

“Gabby was very easy to work with and communicative! My kitties were happy and healthy when I got home, and all my Amazon deliveries had been moved inside (bonus). :)”

“Sai is the best pet sitter ever! I felt completely comfortable and worry-free with my cats being under her care. Sai was punctual in her visits and wrote a thorough report each time. “Rupert had such a great time with Amy and Shelby’s family. They have a lovely yard and host other dogs that he got to play with all day. Their children were so good with him, especially since can be he a little nervous when he first meets people. We really loved that Amy sent pictures during the day to both me and my girlfriend, so we could see how much he was enjoying his time.”
About: 🐶About Me & My Experience with Dogs Hi! I have over 16 years of experience caring for dogs, specializing in small and medium pups only, so your dog will always be in a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. I’ve lived with dogs since I was a child and have always considered them part of my family. I’ve cared for a Poodle, a Chihuahua, and a Jindo-Retriever mix, and I currently have a small Chihuahua who is very precious to me. I moved to the U.S. from Korea with my dog, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pet. 💙 How I Care for Dogs I focus on providing a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for small or medium dogs I treat every dog like family and provide gentle, attentive care—just like caring for a baby. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs so they can feel relaxed and at home. 🐶 Small or medium dogs only (up to 20 lbs) 🏡 Loving, clean, and cozy home environment 🫶🏻Care tailored to your dog’s routine and needs 📸 Daily photo & video updates for peace of mind 🫐🍎organic blueberries and apples as treats 🐾 Paw pads gently cleaned after every walk My goal is to make sure your dog feels loved, secure, and happy while you’re away. 🩵 Love, Attention & Cleanliness I treat every dog with love and careful attention, while also maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. My goal is to create a clean, safe, and comfortable space where dogs feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for. 👟 We don’t wear shoes indoors, so your dog stays in a clean space at all times. 🐾 After walks, I gently wipe your dog’s paws with pet-safe wipes before coming inside. 🧼 Hygiene Care I pay close attention to bowl hygiene and water quality, as bacteria can quickly build up from saliva and food residue. Poor hygiene can lead to digestive issues, skin irritation (especially around the mouth and chin), and reduced water intake. • Food bowls are washed after every meal • Water bowls are cleaned daily before bedtime • Fresh water is provided multiple times throughout the day I believe proper hygiene is essential for a dog’s health, comfort, and overall well-being. 💧 Fresh, filtered water is provided regularly. During colder seasons, I prepare lukewarm water for extra comfort. 🥣 Water and food bowls are cleaned after every meal using baby dish soap, a distilled vinegar, or baking soda. ✨ Floors and surfaces are cleaned regularly, and I use a chemical-free steam cleaner along with carefully selected, low-toxin products like Attitude and Better Life to create a safe and hygienic environment for dogs. I care for every dog with the same level of love, attention, and cleanliness that I give to my own dog. “Super thorough with communication, sent tons of photos, and definitely gave my boy the royal treatment! They did a great job of managing Fuller’s energy and when I picked him up I could tell he had a ton of fun!”
About: I’ve raised my own Golden Retriever since he was 8 weeks old, so I have real daily experience caring for a dog through every stage of growth and routine. Through caring for him, I’ve become very familiar with feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, grooming, and making sure a dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly love dogs and understand how important it is to treat them with patience, attention, and affection. I know that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I am home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can provide dogs with plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take them out every 2–4 hours for walks or potty breaks, depending on their usual routine and needs. My neighborhood also has a nearby trail, which is perfect for walks and extra exercise. Since I am home most of the day, I can give dogs a safe, comfortable, and well-supervised environment. I am also available on weekends and holidays, which makes it easier to accommodate different schedules and last-minute care needs. We also have a yard for outdoor time, and I always prioritize supervision, safety, and each dog’s comfort. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, relaxed, and at home.
About: I’ve been a proud pet parent to my golden retriever for the past 9 years, and she’s been part of my family since she was a tiny puppy. From potty training to fun agility exercises, I have been through it all — and I absolutely love helping dogs learn, grow, and thrive. Pet care is part of my everyday life! I take my own dog for walks every day — it’s my favorite time to get outside, stretch, and enjoy some fresh air together. I also regularly help take care of my friends’ dogs when they’re traveling or busy, so caring for animals has naturally become a regular part of my weekly routine. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply keeping a pet company, spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy and make time for every day. At my home, pets have plenty of space to feel comfortable and safe. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play, stretch, and enjoy some outdoor time. Inside, there’s plenty of room for them to relax — and if a dog prefers or needs a crate, I can easily accommodate that too.
“Qiaohui and her husband took excellent care of our dog while we were away. They have lovely dogs too. I received regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us peace of mind. Our pup came back happy, content. We would like to ask for their help again.”

“Peng and Sijie took such good care of our puppy Bubba. This couple were very prompt to respond to any questions I had. They were very communicative and sent frequent updates (pics and videos) throughout our pet’s stay which I greatly appreciate. Peng and Sijie will be our Bubba’s sitter for as long as it’s possible. Highly recommended!”

“Yen and Terry are the best! We had special instructions for his dinner and she followed it carefully. They are the sweetest couple! Bentley always has a lot of fun when he’s there.”

“Rachel and her pup Bruce is awesome! We did a daycare with them and looks like Cai had so much fun playing with Bruce while Rachel took great care of him. She was gentle professional and courteous and I would recommend her as a host.”

About: I’ve cared for pets since I was a teenager, and I’ve worked with almost every type of animal. I have experience with many dog breeds — Rottweiler, Labrador, German Shepherd, Husky, Pomeranian and others. I’ve also taken care of cats of all kinds, including long–hair, short–hair and hairless breeds. I previously had small pets of my own (rabbits, hamsters, decorative rats), and I feel very confident handling them. I also worked in an exotic animal center, where I cared for reptiles and mammals such as pythons, lemurs, raccoons and small monkeys. I’m patient, calm, and attentive to each animal’s needs. I have my own adopted kitten now 🐱. Your pet will be treated with love, respect and gentle care — just like my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I have plenty of time for drop-ins, walks and daily check-ins, and I always make sure your pet gets my full attention during each visit. I’m reliable, punctual, and able to adjust to different routines and feeding schedules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow your instructions carefully to keep everything safe and consistent with your pet’s routine. I’m calm, attentive, and very respectful of each animal’s comfort level. I make sure doors are secured, food and water are given as directed, and I keep the space clean before I leave. At home, I take excellent care of my own cat — she has plenty of toys, enrichment activities, high-quality balanced food and a clean, safe environment. I always pay attention to her health and needs, and I bring the same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after.
About: I have had pets my whole life including dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies and fish! I am very responsible and have lots of experience caring for a wide variety of pets. We have 2 family dogs that I used to walk on a daily basis as well as play with when I’m back at home. I also help out with my sister’s guinea pigs all the time and am very comfortable with small animals. I am currently working remotely and have quite a bit of flexibility. I typically take walks every day, so it’s always nice to have some company! I love to play with animals, especially dogs! I am also a lover of all pet cuddles!! I am always sure to follow instructions and properly care for different animals and make sure they are comfortable, exercised appropriately, and well loved.

About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! I really love dogs and cats and it would be a really amazing and fun opportunity for me to help take care of your cats and pups! :)

“Callaway was a great help while I was away on vacation by walking my boy, Keo. She was careful going in and out of our gate without letting Keo escape, which was what I was nervous about. I like how she provided me with some background information as well about herself over a FaceTime call and asked some questions about Keo before she took him out. She was respectful, kind, and efficient person. I could tell really cared about my boy, it was nice she sent picture updates while I was on my trip too!”

About: Hi, I’m Cortney! 😊 I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my giant Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, daily routines, leash handling, enrichment, and understanding different personalities and behaviors. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I also have experience with dogs who may be anxious, shy, or need a little extra patience when meeting new people. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of drop-in visits and walks throughout the week, including most weekends. Whether you need planned pet care or last-minute help, I’m happy to help whenever I can! I enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and learning what helps them feel most comfortable. Some pets are social right away, while others need a little extra patience and time to settle in, and I’m happy to go at their pace. I also love sending photo updates and messages throughout visits so you can follow along and see how your pet is doing. 😊 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. On warmer days, I pay close attention to pavement temperatures and how pets are handling the heat. That may mean choosing shaded routes, bringing water, shortening the walk, or opting for a quick potty break instead. I’d rather adjust the plan than risk a pet becoming uncomfortable. ☀️🐾
“I could not say enough wonderful things about Maren. From the first meet and greet to her last walk with Kathleen she has gone above and beyond. Wonderful communication, observant of any new concerns with Kathleen’s health, and very careful about her dog reactivity. Thank you so so much Maren. <3”

“Natalia was amazing!! First time using Rover so I was slightly nervous but she has great communication through the app and took my doggo on a long walk. A+++ will definitely book again. Super happy!! :)”

“Elora has been wonderful with our pup! He is nervous about having people come to the house and she has taken extra time to make him feel more comfortable. She is very responsive, timely and provides thorough notes and photos.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life including my own growing up and neighbors, friends and families pets as well! I have taken care of puppies and all sizes of dogs and also love cats and have grown up with a dog & a cat! I am currently home for a short period of time after traveling for a while for a while, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and it’s easy for me to stay overnight, but I do have a weekend job where I’d need to be gone up to 8 hours. I love to play with dogs and enjoy hanging out with them, I can do whatever is needed for extra care and always provide a safe environment for your pet.

“Mike took excellent care of my dog. He kindly accepted my request even when it was relatively last minute and he responds QUICK. I appreciate his promptness and communication. My dog came home tired and happy! Will gladly let him dog sit again! Thanks mike!”

“Fantastic pet sitter, especially for our elderly dogs! Rachel is so attentive to our pups even with their medical needs. We felt 100% confident leaving them in her care. Thank you, Rachel!”

“Amy did an amazing job taking care of dog when we were away on vacation. She gets our strong recommendation and would happily have our dog stay with her again.”
“Nathan and his family were amazing sitters for my cat Curtis! They sent me the cutest photos and videos every day and gave him so much love. I can tell that he was very happy and he even became buddies with their cat Milo. I would recommend Nathan to all of my friends and family and I will book with him again in the future!”

“They were wonderful caregivers for Finn. I could tell the second I picked him up that he was a bit leary of wanting to come back with me due to wonderful care Shi Min and Chamin provided. They updated me daily with photos and provided feedback on how Finn acted in their care. I will most certainly use them in the future!”

“Liz exceeded all my exceptions when boarding my boy, Bexo! Not only does she provide a "home away from home", but with a stream of photos of Bexo exploring her huge yard and going for walks on the surrounding trails, I really felt like he was getting a vacation of his own. Bexo can take a while to warm up to new people, and doesn't do well with other dogs. While discussing this at drop off, I discovered that Liz is also a trainer with extensive experience working with special needs. This was immediately apparent in the her interactions with Bexo, as she made sure Bexo was conformable with her before I left. She really seem to "hear" him, and I've never seen him take to a stranger so fast. Thanks again Liz! Bexo can't wait until next time.”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“Our two Boston terriers had a great time at Tracy’s place! They loved her large outdoor space and playing with other dogs. Tracy is very reliable and knowledgeable, and I can tell our dogs felt comfortable in her care. Tracy was also flexible to extend their stay a day longer when our travel plans changed. Thanks Tracy!”

“Quick replies/confirmation. Great availability for a meet and greet. Sent daily updates as requested. Nice backyard but also utilized leashed walks regularly. Nice family and nice home.”

“Joann does a superb job hosting our dog, Cadeau. She sent photos, updates and he had a fun time with her dogs. He’s a snuggler and he got lots of human attention as well. Thank you 😊”
