“Elaine was wondering! Plenty of updates and pictures throughout the sit, great communication and Esmee had a ton of fun with her. Definitely recommend letting Elaine care for your doggos. Thanks!”

“Jeanne was outstanding👍 . we just finished our meet and greet to have her watch our pets during an upcoming trip planned to New York however, we had an emergency the same day that we needed to leave town for a couple of days to deal with her family issue. She was very adaptive and she Transitioned to perform on short notice and she did an outstanding job at keeping us in the loop with pictures and text during the few days we were gone. We were super grateful for having her and feel she’s not very professional but she’s a great sitter and to.”

“We found our perfect housesitter/doggo sitter! I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first about having someone we didn’t know come into our home to care for our three mischievous pups. We had always relied on friends and family, so this was a brand-new experience for us. From the very beginning, Anja completely put our minds at ease. She was incredible with our doggos, sent us daily photos that made us smile, took them for walks, snuggled and loved on them and took wonderful care of our home. Truly, I wish I could give her 10 stars—she’s that amazing. We couldn’t be happier and hope to use her Rover skills again and again. Thank you Anja!”

“Taryn did a wonderful job taking care of our massive lab, as always. Bosco is always excited to see her and he gets so much love and attention when Taryn watches him.”

“Mackenzie was absolutely amazing! I was so worried to leave my senior pets for 10 days but she put me ease with her kindness and experience. She had great communication and compassion towards my pets when they had an accident. I felt like she truly loved them as her own. We also loved getting photo updates throughout our trip- she even crocheted cute little hats for the dogs and cat. Would love to have her back to sit again!”

“Puppy and kitty were happy and relaxed when we got home. Our house seemed to be cleaner than when we left! Beau was great and super patient with our puppy who recently developed a fear of car noises! They did great together!”

“Wenlin helped us so much while watching our dog Peppercorn! She was flexible and responsible when we were out of the country and had to coordinate with several other caregivers. We were grateful to have her help, she went above and beyond!”

“Elle took such great care of our two dogs, cat, and house! She came through with last-minute pet-sitting and we feel so lucky to have found Elle! She sent regular updates with photos and videos, kept our pets safe and happy, and left our house in immaculate condition (probably cleaner than when she arrived). She cared for our dog who has separation anxiety and took extra steps to ensure he was happy. She also played with our active cat to keep him happy.”

“George took great care of our two dogs while we were away on a trip. He is very responsive and sent lots of updates. We really appreciated the flexibility in his schedule that allowed him to check in often. We came home to a couple of happy guys! We will be booking with him again on our next trip.”

About: Hello! We are Hunter and Ellyssa. Just a married couple that grew up with farm animals and loves dogs. Together, we've fostered 4 rescue dogs - some reactive, some super calm - and raised them to become ready for their forever homes! We don't have any pups of our own right now and so we are welcoming all kinds of pups in our home! Ellyssa (uh-Lisa) has taken care of doberman's and dachshunds since she was 11 years old. She loves every type of dog personality and looks forward to dog walks as much as the dogs. She has helped rescue dogs from Mexico and has fostered over 10 dogs of varying ages from 4 months to 13 years old senior dogs. Hunter grew up with 2 golden retrievers named Rosie & Susie and then became a dog trainer for search and rescue dogs in North Carolina. He's helped train puppies up until they were 3 years old and loves to learn about every dog's quirks. We both work flexible remote jobs and spend 6 out of 7 days at home. When we do choose to go in-office, it's usually just to get out of the house. Because of our flexible jobs, we are able to build our schedules around puppy care and senior care needs. We're happy to provide boarding and daycare at our home or at your home! Wherever your pups are most comfortable with. Walking visits are also available if we can arrange a regular schedule so it can be worked into our work calendars! For all services, we will ask you for your dog’s daily routine, their personality quirks, preferences, etc. so they can trust us sooner! And of course, we will send photos! Daycare, housesitting, and overnight stays would be structured around your pup’s existing schedule. Walks and check-ins would occur as close to your pup’s schedule as possible with the time range you choose. We are experienced with both puppies (hard minimum age of 8 weeks) and senior dogs that have a range of diet, potty, and oral medication needs. We are also experienced with reactive dogs with a history of biting. However, we only take reactive dogs on a case-by-case basis after a trial meet and greet walk with you (the human) present. We live in a very pet-friendly apartment complex that has a dog spa station that we use for grooming visiting pups. Our own apartment is a spacious 1100+ square foot 2 bed/2 bath apartment with a patio that has space for up to 2-3 dogs for boarding. We live near a very walkable neighborhoods and 2 parks that are dog friendly. We also live near Edmonds and enjoy taking dogs to the beach if they are a fan of humans and water.
“Folks we're moving out of Seattle and one of the biggest stressors we have is that we won't find someone as great as Debs and Paul. They're easygoing yet responsible, love on Murph while handling his eccentricities. You can't go wrong. If they have availability - book them!”

“This is our second time having David watch our dog Gemini. She had met his dogs last year and we decided to board her with him, instead of house sitting. We had a refresher met and greet with his dogs ahead of time, which was great. She had a blast with his dogs and another rover friend! Lots of photos and updates! Will continue to use David as our 1st choice!”

“Jason took excellent care of my two pups and left my house in outstanding condition! He was extremely communicative and sweet with my pups. I will definitely hire Jason again!”

“Andrea was great. Super responsive and reliable and provides us with updates and pictures throughout the weekend. The dogs were happy and the house was clean! We'd definitely reach out to Andrea again if we needed help in the future.”

“My cat said, even though Courtney has dogs, she totally got me. Courtney tuned into our kitty’s personality immediately. They had twice daily dialogues and got along perfectly. Courtney is a gem. Responsive and extremely caring.”

“Sebastian is an exceptional dog sitter who took incredible care of our two elderly dogs. He communicated effectively and went above and beyond our expectations. I felt completely at ease knowing that our dogs were in capable hands. Sebastian is professional, clean, and detail-oriented in his care. He managed to administer medications and feed our hypoglycemic dog at the right times, ensuring their health and well-being. He was also incredibly loving, attentive, and gentle with our dogs and kept the house very tidy. We recently moved here from Texas and were initially hesitant to hire a new sitter because we had a long-standing relationship with our previous one. However, Sebastian proved to be the absolute best, putting my mind at ease with regular updates and photos. If you’re looking for a kind, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter, I highly recommend Sebastian.”

“Kira was an amazing dog sitter! One of our dogs has separation anxiety, and Kira did a great job keeping her calm and cared for. They also asked a lot of great questions to make sure they had all of the information they needed about our dogs while we were gone. They sent us pictures of the dogs and gave status updates while we were gone which was really appreciated! They were very flexible with time too, I was able to book them with just a few days notice, and had to stay out later than expected which was no problem for them. Overall it was a great experience, our pups seemed very happy. Thanks Kira! <3”

“Allison has been amazing with my elderly dog. We have used her services for dog walking as well as dog sitting at my home. She is easy to communicate with, consistent, and reliable. Allison did a great job taking care of my dog that is older and set in her ways. I felt confident having Allison stay at my home while I was away and loved receiving photo and message updates. 10/10 I will definitely book again and recommend Allison to friends.”

Ellyssa and Hunter took wonderful care of our Dachshund, Bentley, while house-sitting. They were communicative, professional, respectful of our home, and incredibly kind and patient with Bentley's quirks. They quickly understood his personality, and he warmed up to them right away - playing, lounging in the sun, and enjoying plenty of blanket snuggles. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was so comfortable and well cared for while we were away. We've already booked them for our next trip and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring pet sitters!

Stephani was such a wonderful sitter for our handful of dogs, that have their various needs (i.e., prescriptions) and strong personalities being huskies. Our doggos seemed instantly calm with her during the meet and greet, and when we returned they didn't want to leave her side. We are so appreciative of her staying with them and giving them such love and care!

As always, Elaina is a gem. The day started with Ace barging into the house, because he smelled Elaina and then he-politely- tackled her when he saw her. He just loves her so much! It was hot when she watched our dog, and she was totally on it. She didn't take him on a longer afternoon walk because it was just too hot. It makes all the difference when you can trust the person watching your dog! We also came home to all of our dishes done, which just about made me cry, it was such a nice touch to come home to after a long day at work!

David was great with the dogs and always gave sent us pics of their adventures. He was dog sitting our pups at our home and left our home in the same condition that we left it. David was very professional, communicative, and understanding. Our dogs had a great time with David, and they were missing him by the end.

Beau was a great sitter. They housesat for our two medium-sized dogs and our cat. Our pets loved them from the moment they met during the meet and greet. They were communicative with frequent updates and photos. They also went above and beyond to take care of the house, including watering the garden, washing bedding, and even remaking the bed. I would highly recommend Beau and will be using them as a sitter in the future.

Kim was absolutely fantastic! We felt so comfortable with her staying over night with our 2 frenchies. She took amazing care of them and treated our home as if it was her own. We’ll definitely be rebooking with Kim again and would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Kim! The doggies can’t wait to see you again!

Brynna is absolutely amazing! She was the perfect person for Phoebe and Cyrus. She took very good care of them and the house in our absence. She kept us updated about everything, and even when we got late, she extended her stay without any hesitation, to make sure that our fur babies were well taken care of. Thank you so much for everything! You were truly amazing!

Alma is a remarkably trustworthy, conscientious, and warm-hearted catsitter, and I can’t sing her praises enough. Over the years, I have been fortunate to have had some pretty good catsitters, as well as a couple not so good ones. But Alma is truly outstanding. After interviewing a number of people on Rover, Alma stood out as very professional and detail-oriented during her meet-and-greet with us. Crucially, she also made an immediate connection with our furbaby, who normally hides away from strangers. We immediately appreciated that Alma exhibited the soul of a cat-lover AND the skillset of an executive assistant. Throughout our trip, she sent us daily updates, photos, and videos, all of which helped put us at ease. Furthermore, when a nearby neighbor in our complex started a kitchen fire, prompting the fire department to order all tenants to exit the building, Alma handled the situation with expert aplomb. She alerted us as soon as she was able to track down our hiding cat, get her into her carrier, and get her outside. Our baby also loathes being put into her carrier. Yet, because she already had such a strong connection with Alma, she willingly accepted being placed in her carrier and taken outside. Alma also handled the situation of leftover fire smoke in our unit very well, taking our kitty in her carrier to the park while our air filters worked to clean the indoor air. We received text updates and plenty of info throughout this process. We came back from our trip to an apartment that was cleaner than how we’d left it, and a cat who was the opposite of stressed out! Our kitty normally takes much longer to warm back up to us once we return from a trip, but thanks to Alma’s attention and care in our absence, our kitty was in great emotional shape upon our arrival back. We know she misses Alma, and we hope to be able to rebook this exceptional catsitter the next time we go out of town. Thank you, Alma!
