“Kyle was great! He house sat + dog sat for us on our wedding weekend and gave plenty of updates of the dogs that left us at ease. He also left the house super clean, and the dogs seemed to like him (we have small dogs that are very picky so that’s a big deal)! We will definitely rebook with him for our next trip! Thanks Kyle!”

About: Hi, I'm Leah, and as you might have guessed, I am a huge pet lover! I've been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by sweet furry friends my entire life - growing up with everything from dogs and cats to iguanas and birds - and I have adored every single one of them. As an adult, I raised an adorable corgi and currently share my home with two sweet black cats. I hold a very special place in my heart for senior pets and for those who need a little extra love & care. My beloved corgi, Bamboo, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge, had Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). Caring for him taught me so much about keeping pups cozy, happy, and comfortable. I truly miss him and miss having a dog in my life, so walking and looking after yours would bring me so much joy! I'm also a very proud cat mom to two precious black kitties who have taught me so much. My senior cat, Kanga, has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), which has made me well-versed in creating peaceful, stress-free environments for our feline friends. My other kitty, Kiwi, has asthma, so I'm completely comfortable administering medications, including inhalers and oral treatments. Since I'm self-employed as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible and I'd love to chat about how I can help. If you happen to be looking for a house-sitter, I would truly love to help you out. I'm available for quick stays of 2 to 4 days at a time. I look forward to hearing from you, and tell your furry friend I said hi, too 🖤 Since I work from home as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible! I can easily adjust my time to fit whatever works best for you and your pet. If I stay at your home, I'll be there to keep your furry friend company throughout most of the day since my work travels with me. Please rest assured that I will deeply respect your space, follow all of your household rules, and keep everything safe and secure (like food that is toxic to pets). I love building a bond of trust with pets by letting them set the pace for interactions.
“Michelle is absolutely outstanding! We are so thankful she watches our doggies and kitties while we are away. She always keeps us updated and sends awesome pictures!! Thank you again!!”

“Annie took great care of Desmond and our home while we were away for an overnight trip. She sent us photos of our happy boy and was very communicative. We will definitely book Annie again and highly recommend her!”
“Michelle was an amazing pet sitter. She was my first live-in overnight sitter and she helped me feel so at ease about the whole process. She communicated well prior to the pet sitting dates, and she sent me daily updates on how things were going along with pictures of my very happy dogs while in her care. I have three dogs with different needs and abilities and they all had a great time with her. I would absolutely use her again for future pet sitting needs!”

“Jon takes such good care of our dog Jax. You can tell how much Jax likes him. He gets so excited when Jon comes to our house. He also takes such good care of our house, and it is always so clean when we come home.”

“Deyaneira is an attentive and caring pet and home sitter! She was communicative, detailed and it was clear our home and cat were very well taken care of. We would definitely recommend Deyaneira!”

“Catie cared for my old guy for a week while I was out of town. He presented a couple major challenges and Catie offered possible solutions and kept her sense of humor throughout the ups and downs. I appreciated her professionalism in communicating the issues and general updates. Her patience and overall focus on his well being made me feel very fortunate to have her watching my buddy. I would recommend her as a sitter to any one - and especially those with older quirky pets!”

“Mary has stayed with our dog multiple times, and it has been great! She also takes great care while house sitting and provide great communication. We will continue booking her in the future and recommend her highly!”

“Jeff was incredible with our high maintenance pups. He took each of them on hour+ walks daily, and separately too! They got good treats, pets, walks, and lots of time in the yard. He never left them more than a few hours alone. Will definitely repeat!”
“Kristy was phenomenal!! My dog, Mochi, was clearly very well taken care of, along with my house. Kristy provided multiple updates throughout the day, was very thorough in her questions about care, and was always responsive. Mochi can be quite reactive to other dogs and Kristy did a great job managing this and letting him have fun on walks. It was truly so nice to have peace of mind during my time away - including over 4th of July! Will be booking again for sure and would highly recommend : )”

“Emma did great with our timid puppy and rambunctious cat. She sent plenty of updates, and made sure our puppy who had never spent a weekend without us got a lot of love!”

“Aryana is wonderful and I will 100% be hiring her again for dog sitting! She sent great updates and my dog Ash looked SO happy and comfortable with her in photos. She went above and beyond to give my dog enriching days that included all his favorite things. Aryana was comfortable staying with Ash who has some special needs and sensitivity to being handled. She is clearly very intuitive with dogs and built trust immediately with him. She sent me a picture of him lying on his back on the couch in a state of total bliss. I knew he was in good hands!”

“Absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough great things about Nancy. She was just wonderful with our dog. From meeting us early to keeping us updated. Everything was seemless and we highly recommend Nancy for watching anyone’s dog. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our dog.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woodway
Michelle is the best sitter we could ever ask for! We travel often and make sure to work our schedule around her availability. This time we were out of the country for three weeks. Michelle consistently provided twice daily check ins, along with the best photos and video of our pups. She picked up extra food and treats, brought our mail and packages in daily, watered our plants, took out our garbage & recycling, and even made sure the pups were safe when a coyote visited our backyard! Because of the time difference, we weren’t able to connect often, but we rested comfortably knowing our pups were safe and loved because of Michelle. We arrived home and our house was spotless and organized. She always makes sure that when we get home all we have to do is relax and snuggle with the pups. There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful we are to have Michelle as our #1 pup sitter - she’s definitely part of our family!
Halley was awesome! She was more than accommodating when we asked to do a meet and greet before our trip, of course our pets loved her. One of our dogs was on medication while we were gone and she was more than willing to help with that. She walked the dogs, kept them active, and was patient with our dog Charlie who loves to cuddle and is an attention seeker. We plan on using Halley again and recommend you use her for your Rover needs.

We loved having Renee over to take care of our cat! While my cat was very shy and still adapting to our new home, she was in great hands the whole time. This is the first trip we're using Renee and the first trip where we came home to the cat being excited instead of upset. She even helped tidy up the place before leaving which is sweet and special. Thank you!!

Deya was great with our babies. We had an unexpected need for medications which she managed without missing a beat. They were happy to see me upon my return but seemed as though they were looking for her! She was a great communicator and let me know how they were every step of the way.
Kate watched our two kitties in our home for 3 days. We came home to happy kitties which is always great! Kate sent daily update and gave a long update on her final day before leaving our home. She also checked in a few times leading up to our trip to make sure we were both confirmed and clear on instructions which was appreciated. She also made sure to take out the trash and tidy up after her stay. The only small hiccup was prior to booking. The pricing shown on the listing was not the actual cost. She prices herself a bit different than all other Rover sitters we’ve work with. That said, the total cost was reasonable and we worked it out before I agreed to book.

Addisyn did an amazing job caring for our dogs and looking after our home while we were gone. She was incredibly attentive and kept us updated the whole time, which gave us total peace of mind. She was super reliable with their routine, making sure they got their allergy meds with dinner each night. Honestly, I don’t think the dogs even missed us! We returned to very happy, well-cared-for pups and will absolutely be booking Addisyn again. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Woodway on Rover is $67.12 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 7,547 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Woodway. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodway walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodway maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodway choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodway. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
