About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover and would love to help take care of your pets. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. I have a fun, energetic 1.5-year-old Goldendoodle of my own, so I’m used to keeping active pups happy, but I’m just as happy hanging out with laid-back dogs and cats. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they get lots of attention, love, and care while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands!

Deyaneira was so helpful, kind and caring with our pets. She was able to take our request within 2 days to hangout with our pets for a day. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, which I always appreciate. Deyaneira was punctual and communicative, and she was an overall good guest to have in our house. My dogs and I liked her so much we already booked another stay!

Hannah was amazing!! Our other cat sitter had to cancel 1 week before our trip due to a family emergency so we were in a bit of a panic when we reached out to Hannah. Lucky for us, Hannah responded quickly to our inquiry and was able to come by for a meet and greet the next day. She showed up on time and our cats liked her right away! She was very personable and asked great questions. She reached out the day before our trip and while we were gone for 4 days, she checked in 1-2 times each day which was so great! She sent lots of great photos and a video or two which we loved!! We could tell our cats were happy with her. Our house was clean and tidy when we got home which we always appreciate. We will absolutely ask Hannah to come back again for future trips! 😸😸

Sebastian is an exceptional dog sitter who took incredible care of our two elderly dogs. He communicated effectively and went above and beyond our expectations. I felt completely at ease knowing that our dogs were in capable hands. Sebastian is professional, clean, and detail-oriented in his care. He managed to administer medications and feed our hypoglycemic dog at the right times, ensuring their health and well-being. He was also incredibly loving, attentive, and gentle with our dogs and kept the house very tidy. We recently moved here from Texas and were initially hesitant to hire a new sitter because we had a long-standing relationship with our previous one. However, Sebastian proved to be the absolute best, putting my mind at ease with regular updates and photos. If you’re looking for a kind, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter, I highly recommend Sebastian.

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and have had pets since I was born. I currently own a vizsla and spend much of my free time walking, playing, and caring for him! I also regularly pet sit for friends and family, which is something I truly enjoy because spending time with animals brings me so much happiness. I’m an active person who loves being outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and enrichment. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just providing company, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m currently a nursing student, so my schedule varies throughout the school year. However, I carefully manage my time and only accept bookings when I can provide quality care. During the summer, I have more availability which allows me to spend more time walking, playing, and caring for your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal as possible regarding feeding, exercise, and more. Just like for my pup, I use a secure leash and remain attentive to my surroundings to ensure pet safety at all times. I understand how important trust is when it comes to caring for your pet, as I would want someone to treat my own pup with the same care, patience, and respect. I always enjoy providing updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and well cared for.

We cant thank Kristen enough for her patience, kindness and expertise with our mischievous pets! From the start Kristen was professional, understanding, and prepared for anything. Our dogs can be a handful, but Kristen handled them like a true pro, keeping them safe, happy and entertained. She updated us with messages and adorable photos, and it was clear our pups were in excellent hands. We returned home to happy dogs and a clean home - we couldn't have asked for a better first time experience. Highly recommend Kristen for any pet parent, even if your pups are on the "naughty" side!!

About: Ever aince I got my dog Oscar when I was 12, I have been completely obsessed with dogs! I did the majority of his training and care when he was a puppy, and he became fully house trained, leash trained, and learned lots of fun tricks! Since then, I have cared for countless dogs all over California and Washington in the form of drop-in house visits, walks, going on runs, and overnight house-sitting visits. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I’m currently working from home/on contract, so I have lots of availability! I am available for drop-in visits and walks all hours of the day and overnight stays as needed. I am currently in an small apartment that doesn’t allow pets, so unfortunately I would only be able to care for pets in clients’ homes

Charlie was AMAZING!! So attentive and caring to our senior rescue, Toffee. Above and beyond in so many areas: brushing Toffee’s thick corgi undercoat, vacuuming, stripping the bed and leaving the house in immaculate condition. Charlie was also very good about sending pictures of Toffee and reporting on her daily activities. Charlie is a true dog lover and has lots of experience in caring fir them. We highly recommend her!!!

Where do I start? We met Heather for a meet and greet before the house sitting. Our girls immediately loved her. She graciously agreed to watch our two senior girls over the 4th of July and both of the them are terrified of fireworks. She cared for them and loved them just like we would have. Her willingness to accommodate to their fears, needs and special accommodations was such a relief while we were out of town. When we returned, our house was spotless and the girls well loved. Would absolutely book again. Thank you, Heather, we are so grateful!!!

Erica was great working with us to take care of our animals when I went into labor. She made up my bed and straightened up things in the house before she left, which was such a relief coming home with our newborn!

This was the 1st time in 4.5 years we had ever left Mitzie with anyone. Lee was absolutely the right person! After the 3rd day, Mitzie began to warm up to her. Lee took her to see and play with her neighborhood friends. She sent us pictures and updates along the way. Overall, Lee made the whole experience doable and less stressful. If I ever get my husband to take another trip, Lee is the one I'll call! Joyce

FAQs for House Sitting - Picnic Point-North Lynnwood

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Picnic Point-North Lynnwood on Rover is $69 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 7,314 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Picnic Point-North Lynnwood. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Picnic Point-North Lynnwood walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Picnic Point-North Lynnwood maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Picnic Point-North Lynnwood choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Picnic Point-North Lynnwood. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
