Please read my Schedule/Availability first. Please also be aware that my rates will go up July 1, 2026 to $26/30m drop-in visits and walks. House/pet sitting will be $78/n. Thank you. 🐶 I have been working in the Pet Services industry for nearly 10 years. 🐶 I was recently reminded that my mother told me her Rat Terrier helped change my diapers, so I've been around dogs all my life. I think I was six when my parents got our next family dog, a Springer Spaniel/Dachshund/Chihuahua mix we called a "Spridachi." Since then I have almost always been owned by a pet. Currently, two soft, fuzzy, and sometimes grumpy Australian Sugar Gliders. 🐶 I essentially married into a family who was heavily involved with the dog show world. I learned so much more than I would have if I had just been involved with dogs as pets. I joined their kennel club and later was elected to the board. I volunteered my time at dog shows and other events. I even trained some dogs in obedience skills. 🐶 Over the years I’ve had the company of a Chihuahua, a Chihuahua mix, a Dachshund mix, a Papillon, two mix-breed cats, and a sundry of small pets.

Safety, trust & environment

🐶 Please let me know if your pet has separation anxiety. 🐶 Know use at least 70% alcohol spray on my hands for every household. I wear a mask if you are home. 🐶 I don’t meet at locations other than where I will be accessing your pet. In most cases, this will be your home. There are usually too many distractions for your pet elsewhere.

Tony is a diligent and caring provider for my dog AKI. She provides me continuous feeding, sleep time, and activity updates. She worries about my dog’s health. And gives car rides!

Schedule

Schedule/Availability 🐈🐶 🐶 My current weekday dog walking schedule usually begins at 11 AM to 4 PM for 30 minutes each. Scheduled commute time is also 30 (+/-) minutes. Special arrangements for 60-minutes walks are possible, depending on the current schedule. I’m *not* available for one-time walks. Walks are scheduled similar to this… once a week, two days a week, weekdays, every other week per month, etc. I normally don’t walk dogs on weekends. 🐶 All bookings are made in **advance** (at the very least a day before) of the needed date/s. A one-time Meet & Greet session is **required** for all new accounts and is held before the requested dates. Meet & Greets are not required again for **established** accounts. 🐶 For House/Pet Sittings, I’m currently not available to be in your home 24/7 because of schedule and personal responsibilities. I attempt to return during the day for potty breaks, feeding and general attention several times a day, especially for potty breaks (if your pet does not have self-potty access). However, extenuating circumstances do occur such as traffic issues. I will always keep you posted. A “walk” is a 30-minute session booked separately and is not included in a house/pet sitting booking (see *walk rate* elsewhere in this profile). A “potty break” is a few minutes outside to allow your pet to potty and is included in the sitting rate.

MEET & GREET ==> This step is for your dog and logistics. Interview-type questions will have been completed **prior** to this point via Rover’s messaging or phone access system. I don't use my personal email. We will have talked about dates and times, special instructions, requirements, etc. Then your pet will meet me, sniff me, bark at me, etc. during our meeting. You will determine if they like me enough to continue. I require social distancing and/or masks when interfacing with all humans. ==> Also at this time, I receive keys and/or a code to gain access to your pet/s. You may have security concerns. I strongly encourage and hope you have at least one camera in your home so you can keep an eye on your beloved. The more the merrier. ==> Please keep in mind that although it's rare, sometimes we are not a good match. It may take a few attempts to make this determination. Your dog may feel perfectly confident when you’re home but freak out when this stranger (me) enters the home without you nearby. Usually, we can tell rather quickly, hence why the Meet & Greet is so important. Owners may also not be a good match. Don’t worry about it. We’ll just cancel the contract. No worries.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
