“Kaitlyn was a fabulous sitter for Grover — and was incredibly flexible when plans pivoted this week. Kaitlyn left a thorough report and provided photos so we knew Grover was in excellent care! Can’t wait to use Kaitlyn again to watch our fur baby.”

“Nathan did a great job caring for our special needs dog. He was careful to follow instructions and was very communicative. We will not hesitate to use Nathan for services in the future.”

“Julia did a great job keeping us updated during our trip and took excellent care of our kitties. She has been receptive to our needs and we plan to continue booking care with her!”

“Jeanie took great care of our two cats while we were out of town! They are typically a little shy at first, but they warmed up to her super quickly and loved all the attention, playing, and pets they got from her. We really appreciated the updates and pictures we got after each check-in. It gave us such peace of mind to see that they were happy and well taken care of while we were away!”
“Heather did a wonderful job with Ember and was available on super short notice! She was very professional and Ember took to her even though they had never met before.”

“We love Mo and our cats love Mo! He is truly Doctor Dolittle - animals gravitate to him. :) I have known Mo for about 5 years and can attest to his kind heart and love for animals. As a fellow pet sitter and protective pet parent, I am cautious about who I ask to watch my pets. I 100% trust Mo and recommend him to watch your fur babies! He is caring, thorough, dependable and communicative. Thanks again Mo!”

“Deyaneira was great with communication and sending photos of my cat! She took great care of our cat and our cat was very happy when we were gone! We would recommend her to anyone needing care for their pet!”

“Sherri was such a blessing to have for our senior pup. He warmed up to her right away and enjoyed her company through a week of check-ins. We could not be happier in our choice to have Sherri as our sitter and would have her again in a moments notice. She was prompt, professional, easy to work with, and most importantly she loved on our dog like he was her own. Cannot say enough good things about her!”

“Naomi was so sweet with Simba! During our meet and greet, he warmed up to her right away and even let her rub his belly, which isn’t something he does with everyone. She was kind, patient, and communicative, and she sent updates and photos during his walk, which I really appreciated. Simba came back happy, and I’d definitely book with Naomi again!”

“I have a 13 yo German Wire Haired pointer that due to arthritis is not able to accompany me anymore on long day trips. For the first time, and with no small amount of anxiety, I left him in the care of Hattie for a drop in visit mid-day and a walk. She was kind, caring, prompt and provided photos and a “report” of the walk so that I could enjoy my day away and know my dog was well cared for! Merry Christmas to me!”

“Alyssa is fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and she made it easy and removed all of my anxieties. Spent an evening in Seattle for NYE and she looked after my pup with such care and detail. Highly recommend!”

“My second time booked with Shannon. Shannon took great care of my cat, great communication, and sending me pictures for each visit! Thank you so much for taking care of my cat again!”

“Really great experience using Yomna. Even though this was her first time caring for my dog Aurora, she is clearly experienced working with active dogs and can adjust to her activity level. Very good at providing updates. Very satisfied.”

This is the 3rd time Penny has watched our cats, and it was also the longest trip we’ve taken. Our cats love her and the attention that they get from her while we are gone, and they were very well cared for like always. Penny provides peace of mind that our pets are safe while we are traveling, and that’s absolutely priceless. You can hire her without any hesitation. Thank you again Penny.

Chelsea is amazing! She went above and beyond to interact with my cat who is terrified of everyone. Chelsea was able to get her out from under the bed which no one has ever been able to do. It really put my mind at ease while i was away. Thank you so much Chelsea!

Jamie was amazing!! This is our first time using Rover and we are so happy that we decided to try it out. Our two dogs and cat were so well taken care of when we went on vacation. Also love the fact that Jamie left a handful of pictures in the Rover Card for us to view after each one of her visits. Definitely will use Rover again and hope we can book Jamie the next time we go on vacation!
Heather was so professional and took wonderful care of my two boys! We had last minute plans come up and she was so flexible setting up a quick meet and greet with us and committing to watch our two kitties. She was very responsive, checked on things for me in the house to ease my anxious brain while away, and sent us adorable pictures of the kitties getting love and playtime. Highly recommend!

We have used Emily twice now for our kitties. This last time we were gone for a full 8 days. Emily went above and beyond, vacuuming just before our return so the litter tracking was completely cleaned up and it was so nice to come home to a fresh house. She took great care with the cats, one of which has a special diet and required a bit of patience while he eats. Highly recommend!

As always, Alyssa provides excellent care and attention to our kitties. I feel so reassured and comfortable knowing that Tuya and Beans are in her capable hands. The reports and photos are detailed and descriptive. Will continue to have her care for our little guys, again and again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
