I prefer to watch your pets in your home since I have a reactive pup at mine. I can make sure they are fed everyday, taken out for exercise, and of course get all the pets and snuggles
Information Hattie W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs, diet, or triggers so I can make sure to care for them the best way I can.
A typical day
I’d love to make sure your dog/cat gets enough physical and mental exercise. I can walk your pup and play catch. I can wave the cat wand around so your cat can chase it. Whatever they usually like to do with you, just let me know and I’d be happy to do it too!

Experienced Rescue Volunteer
Pet care experience
I've been around dogs since I was 9 when I started volunteering with my dad at a local shelter. In my 20s, I adopted my first dog and cared for him until he passed from stomach cancer at age 10. His loss inspired me to start volunteering again, this time at a rescue in Las Vegas where I walked dogs. I’ve also fostered over 10 dogs. Most of them were strays who needed leash training, stair practice, and basic commands like sit and shake. I eventually adopted my rescue pup, Ollie (he’s the one in the Thanksgiving hat in my photos). After moving to Washington, I began volunteering at Seattle Humane and gained more experience working with dogs of all sizes, including those with reactivity—something I manage daily with Ollie. My husband and I also have two rescue cats (one of them is a tripod!) so I’m comfortable and experienced with cats too!
Reviews

Hattie did great! Our shy kitty loved her, and she was very communicative. We’ll definitely use her again in the future!

Hattie took great care of my two cats! She is friendly, reliable and a good communicator - which eased my mind while away. Thank you, Hattie!

She took great care of my rabbit 😃

I have a 13 yo German Wire Haired pointer that due to arthritis is not able to accompany me anymore on long day trips. For the first time, and with no small amount of anxiety, I left him in the care of Hattie for a drop in visit mid-day and a walk. She was kind, caring, prompt and provided photos and a “report” of the walk so that I could enjoy my day away and know my dog was well cared for! Merry Christmas to me!
