Fur baby lover!
I grew up with cats and dogs and love nothing more than to give fur babies my undivided attention! Since moving to Washington 5 years ago, I’ve been caring for friends/neighbors' pets, taking them on walks, feeding them, playing, and watching them while they are out of town. I just adopted my own mixed pup from Seattle Humane in April; let me spoil your sweet kitties and pups!

Safety, trust & environment
I don't currently have any pets in my home. When it comes to pet sitting, I always make sure to open the door slowly if the pet is loose in the house. I let the pet sniff my hand before attempting to touch them, and give them space if they don't seem to want to interact with me. When it comes to walking, I don't walk with headphones in to make sure I can hear what else is going on nearby. I wouldn't take them near spaces where I know there are likely to be other dogs unless that is requested.

I’ve known Elizabeth for many years. She’s always loved animals. She’s taken care of pets of her own and done some pet sitting for neighbors too. She is responsible and reliable and would give lots of love to any pet she’s in charge of. I highly recommend her.
I can’t recommend Beth highly enough! She was our neighbor for over three years and faithfully cared for our indoor/outdoor cat every time we traveled. We’d often see her stopping to pet him in our shared courtyard, and it was clear from the start that she’s a true animal lover. When we asked if she could feed and watch him while we were away, she gladly stepped in, feeding him twice a day, checking in consistently, bringing in our mail, and even sending us unprompted photo updates that gave us total peace of mind. Beth is incredibly trustworthy and responsible. She always asked how he was doing and genuinely cared about his wellbeing. Knowing he was in her care allowed us to fully relax while traveling. We would trust her to watch any pet of ours without hesitation. Any pet parent would be lucky to have Beth as their sitter!

Schedule
I can work from home most days, and set my own schedule for the most part, so I am able to take short breaks to take pets on walks or work from another home to make sure the pup or kitty isn't alone for extended periods of time. I imagine pet care fitting easily into the days I work from home.
