About: We are a dog family. Although not professionally trained, I have done extensive research on dog behaviorism (I work in human behavior so this was naturally interesting to me) and have applied those skills to my own dogs as well as my friends and families dogs. We all work of the same pack training system which helps integrate them smoothly into each environment. I am dedicated to forever training. We work throughout our day to become the best human/dog selves we can in the community. I was a part of Guide Dogs Of America for several years as I am highly invested in communities with dissabilities and have lived with a Guide dog personally. I know what it takes for a dog to be valued... whether it working or a companion and the importance that pup has in a families life. I work for the school district so I have large chunks of time off (spring break, winter break, mid-winter break, and summer) which is when I would offer services primarily. BOARDING -7 days a week I will offer weekday boarding for repeat guests/special circumstances during the regular school year. *** weekday drop off/pick dependant on our house schedule and may need be in the evening - we will work together in this! *** Stays of 2 weeks or more are discounted*** I would be home with them most of the time and can offer an XXL Crate if needed for short periods of time. I have two well trained and friendly dogs to play and learn from. We like to go for walks, short hikes, and beaches/lakes. We have a large yard for all the sniffs, training time, zoomies, play, and endless fetch. My daughter loves animals and is gentle, very aware of dog communication styles, and is a pack leader. We invest in ours and others dogs success and happiness.
“Kaitlyn was fantastic with our two cats. She was always communicative and left detailed visit info. House was in perfect order when we got home from our trip. She also went above and beyond with spraying the ants that showed up and watering our garden.”

“Noelle is such a wonderful, loving sitter! First time booking with rover and I am so thankful she booked with me! My lil pup loves her and has helped him with keeping with potty training, short walks outside, and even train him! I would definitely rebook! I actually booked for the entire month and I am glad that my pup has someone like her since I can’y be with him all the time. Thanks Noelle!”

“Julia was a lifesaver when our sweet puppy was unexpectedly home for a week. She was quick to respond, confirm availability, and work with me to make sure my puppy got the care he needed. Will rebook check-ins and try boarding when we need in the future”

“Elena was great taking care of Max, she communicated before the booking understanding the cat and what would be best for him on her drop in visits. She set the expectations considering Max shyness Still she was able to provide the care that Max needed Thanks for the help”

“Kaylee, was so detailed and took plenty of pictures when she took him on his walks. She made me feel so secure and felt that our fur baby was taken care of. We will definitely use her in the future! So glad to have made this connection!! She is awesome!”

“Tony has checked in on my dogs for me a few times now on days when I have to be at work for an extended time, and they've loved it! She is very flexible with being able to come on random dates/times and is also very easy to communicate with! I'll definitely be having her back again in the future!”
“I would happily recommend Alexandra to anyone! She was so easy to work with, very communicative, timely and reliable. We have a 65 pound Staffy who is high energy (our last dog walker quit cuz she was "to much" for him) and Alexandra was able to work with us and handle her wonderfully! We will continue working with her in the future anytime we need someone to watch our pup. 😊”

“Janee took care of my three babies very well. It was a bit rocky at first because im very new to rover and the app kept glitching but not her fault. Anyways I have a new kitten and he warmed up to her right away. My other cat also eventually warmed up to her and were comfortable. Thank you for keeping my babies company!! (: I recommend her!”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs my whole life! I have volunteered at the Humane Society for several years walking dogs and making them feel loved. I also have taken in stray cats and made them feel special! I currently do not work so I am available anytime to see your pet! I love taking care of animals and seeing them makes my day! I live in an apartment complex with a dog park right outside! I have 2 cats but one is very skiddish and hides and my other cat is very friendly and outgoing and loves meeting new friends!
“Amazing sitter! Brittany took care of our cats so well, played with them, and gave them lots of love when we couldn't. She sent lots of pictures and we knew they were in good hands!”

“We been booking with Mohamed for a few drop-ins now, and he has always been very responsive and sends great pictures of what our boys are up to. He's been super flexible to work with! I highly recommend booking with Mohamed.”

“Jaevin did a fantastic job taking care of our cat, Sultan. He kept us updated throughout the stay with regular messages and made sure we always knew how Sultan was doing. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. Highly recommend Jaevin!”

“Zeryab was AMAZING! Very communicative throughout the booking. Truly took care of my babies like her own. I cannot thank her enough. She went above and beyond in making sure they didnt feel lonely while I was away and also made extra trips as her schedule allowed, just to check on them by herself. No extra charges. I am so very grateful to have found a trustworthy caretaker for my furbabies. Will always book with her in the future.”

“Marysa was great! Took care of our two shy kitties and communicated everyday with updates. She followed the instructions we provided and paid attention to the details. We really appreciated her help and coming home to two happy kitties!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Martha Lake
Chloe was calm and professional and set my heart at ease about leaving my beloved cats in her care. She listened to my concerns and made it possible for me to trust that they would be well attended to in my absence. Truly, she is exceptional and I would recommend her to anyone needing cat care in their home!!

Vittoria was our first time hiring a sitter, and also the longest time we’d been away since we got our cat. She took great care of our very particular cat, and also kept us updated with pictures every visit which was much appreciated. Will absolutely hire Vittoria again next time!

Jocelyn was very kind and compassionate with my antisocial cat. She was careful to say hi to her but not stress her out and took care of all her needs while I was away. I really appreciated Jocelyn's professionalism and care! I would book her again in a heartbeat. :)

It is always important to me that my cats are comfortable with the people who come around them, so it was refreshing to see that all three took a liking to Allison. She was very attentive with them and always made sure to get their chores done as well as play with them. I definitely recommend if you have cats

Jaevin was very thorough during his visits, even though one of our kitties would run from strangers, he still made a great effort to make sure she was comfortable and accounted for. I felt really good leaving our felines in his hands, highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Martha Lake. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
