“They are AWESOME. Our pup is a 70 lb dog that needs improvement on walks (& being in the car). Not once did we hear a single complaint about his behavior even though he can be difficult. All we got were great photos of our dog and his new friend! J&P were truly great and our dog was so happy with them! I am VERY picky with dog sitters, but I would not even hesitate if we needed a dogsitter :).”

“Nancy watched our 3 yr old mini poodle for 2 weeks and gave us daily updates, usually by video. When Curly had a G.I. issue, Nancy let us know and coordinated with our Vet to resolve the issue. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in great hands. Curly was his normal self when we picked him up which is what we always hope for.”

“Posey had a great time, first sleepover since we adopted her so we were happy to find someone that loves dogs and would make her feel at home. Great communication, lots of pictures and I felt really comforted by their care of our dog and was able to really relax on vacation. Definitely using again when we travel. Thanks!!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with our reactive dog Chicken. She is extremely kind, communicative, and reliable. Chicken is an Aussie and they can be selective with new people and she did great with Elizabeth and her family. She sent regular updates and photos which was super helpful. I can tell Chicken feels really comfortable and well taken care of when she’s at Elizabeth’s.”

“Theresa was flexible accommodating to our schedule and the dog's needs with her house routines. She gave my dog a fun and safe environment when we needed the most. Thanks!”

“I would, without a doubt, trust Lauren with my cat Jerry. She took great care of Jerry while we were overseas. Thank you so much Lauren, you made our trip a lot easier to be away from him. I know he had the best time with you! We look forward to the next time. ?”
“My doggie Mav was given such great care and love while he stayed! I received many updates and pictures and he came home a tired and happy guy! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Mav!”
“Conor was great with our pup! He came home happy and tired! Conor worked with Loki on a lead, as he has always been a stronger puller, and we are very impressed by the effort and time he put in to care for our pup. We definitely recommend Conor's services.”

“Sarah provided our dog Russell a home away from home. He returned to us after our vacation in good health and happy. Sarah made the drop off and pick up easy following covid precautions. Her dogs are easy going therefore it was a good fit with our laid back labrador. If we need dog boarding in future, would definitely use her again.”
“Izzy and her family are amazing (and that includes their Doodle, Mickey)! My dog has anxiety about new experiences, and they really helped her feel welcome, comfortable, and safe during her first visit to their home.”
“Jenny made our dogs feel so at home and gave updates to us while we were away. Leaving for 2 weeks internationally took alot of trust in those caring for our dogs. Jenny went over and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our vacation and didn't have to worry about our dogs. From enrichment activities, to walks, to cuddles, - our dogs couldn't have had it better. We would 100% have Jenny care for our dogs again. Thanks Jenny!”

“Gabby was amazing to take care of our dog, Cloud. He is a little picky with humans, but he warmed up to Gabby and her husband immediately which was a huge relief. Cloud was feeling a little moody with us gone but Gabby and Jameson cheered him right up! She even made him some steamed chicken breast. Very grateful to have found her! Definitely recommend anyone looking for a caring sitter 👍”

“These guys are great! My main concern was to find someone who would give my very old best friend love and gentle support. They were the ones! I received pictures of him cuddled on the couch getting all of the love. Thats all he really wants. I'm so glad to have found them.”

“Bevan is such a great human. My dog is a great dog. Good match. My go-to dog sitters for long trips, Bevan and her husband are a team that creates flexibility to match my schedule.”

“Jared and Rhonda are fantastic and I look forward to booking with them again, this was the best first Rover experience we could have asked for! Jared is great with dogs who are slow to warm up, which was important to me when searching for a dog sitter. Our pup is very anxious but I felt comfortable knowing she was in a loving and calm environment. Jared’s communication is top notch, we appreciated the frequent updates and photos. I would not hesitate to recommend!”

“When it comes to boarding, Christina is smiply the best! She kept us updated with photos / videos daily. Our dog, Archie got along great with Christina's dog, Kara. They kept Archie active with walks and playtime in the backyard. They were very attentive to Archie's needs. And that is saying a lot given he is a puppy and will certainly try your patience. I would highly recommend Christina for all your boarding needs. We are excited to schedule our next stay with Christina.”

“Qiaohui took wonderful care of our dog. She kept us updated with videos and photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog was clearly comfortable, happy, and well looked after. She’s reliable, attentive, and exactly the kind of sitter you hope to find.”

“Finding sitters who truly care about your dog is tough, but Kelly and Karen exceeded all expectations. Tony is usually a bit anxious, but Kelly makes him feel better. Their communication was excellent, and gave me update(pic/vidoes)about Tony during i was on my vacation. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy…”

“We could not have been happier with Prescilla! This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous leaving Joey. Prescilla's calm demeanor and responsiveness was able to quickly put our nerves at ease. She sent many updates throughout the day which were always such a thrill to receive. We also loved how she asked clarifying questions to ensure Joey was receiving the best possible care. We will absolutely be using Prescilla for all of our future vacations, she is the best!! Thank you Prescilla!!”

Our second booking with Elizabeth! Thank you for the daily pictures- our two small dogs looked right at home. We appreciate you creating a routine for the dogs during this 8 day stay, and generally being there for them! We are looking forward to another repeat booking :)

Jose took good care of our two dogs during a long 12 day vacation. One required daily medicine and the other was a 4 month old active puppy. No problem for Jose! He took them on daily walks and sent regular photos and communication to us. Would definitely use him again!

Olya did a phenomenal job with our dog. She went above and beyond taking him to beach trips, hikes, runs, and making him better than at home. She was very responsive, shared lots of updates and pictures and was very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend for anybody’s pet!

Joshua was extremely helpful with a last minute booking and showed real concern for our dogs. He gave them a bath which was a great unexpected and helpful treat for us! He also was communicative when it seemed like one of our smoosh-faces was breathing heavy. We are very grateful for how patient he was with us and our dogs!

Ana has been heaven sent for our 10yo dog with separation anxiety. She has a calm, nurturing presence and he is happy to see her when we drop him off. She sends detailed daily updates, which put my mind at ease. When we return, we know we’re getting back a well rested, happy pup.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
