“This was the longest trip I have taken without my dog and I am so thankful for Teanna knowing my dog was well taken care of during it all! They go on walks around the neighborhood, play fetch in the fenced-in tennis courts, and enjoy lots of cuddles on the couch. I appreciate all the updates and pictures shared.”

“Melody was wonderful for our dog Penny! We had never had a sitter for Penny other than family, so we were so thankful to find Melody on the first try. Melody suggested a meet and greet to test out before our trip and she obviously loved dogs and was very experienced and professional. We had no reservations about leaving Penny with Melody and they both seemed to have a good time while we were gone. Melody is sweet, patient, flexible to your pup, and very professional. Highly recommend Melody! We just hope she doesn't get too booked for when we next need a sitter :)”

“Catherine was the best rover we could ask for. She took EXCELLENT care of our dog and provided us high quality updates just like we asked. Catherine and her family made our dog feel so special in his home away from home. They poured a lot of love onto our dog and we would absolutely book with her again !”

“As usual, Bevan did an excellent job taking care of Millie. We could not be happier with the care Bevan and Rich give our girl. This stay, Bevan noticed something going on with Millie’s right eye and it was decided she should go to the vet. Bevan took care of everything. Now with all the meds Millie’s eye is fine. Bevan is simply the best!!”

“This was Waffles' second time staying with Stacey. Waffles pretty much summed her feelings by running straight to her when we got there. Stacey is always great to work with, very responsive and all around pleasure to deal with.”

About: I admit that I'm new to Rover.com but I cared for my beloved Chloe (60 lb dog) for 16 years and also dog sat for my best friend when she went out of town. Safety is incredibly important to me and I have a fully fenced, private back yard that would love to host your canine family member. I am retired now so can set my own schedule. I am home most of the time but do typically leave the house for an hour or so to exercise each day. When I'm pet sitting, your special pet will be my top priority and I will be able to work my schedule around their needs and your expectations. I have a large, fully fenced, private back yard. I do not require that your pet be crate trained as my dog (she passed away in 2024) was never crate trained. I'm ok with you simply bringing over their dog bed, but if they sleep in a crate, that's fine too. My home's environment is very safe and offers room to roam when they're outside. The one fence line that has a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground has been covered with wire mesh so even a small dog cannot get out. As a retired person, I'm able to walk your dog as many times / day as you request. As mentioned above, they'll also be free to roam the backyard and I will be with them during that time.

“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Karissa sent pics of Benji everyday and add sure I was up-to-date! They did a great job taking care of Benji and I know he had a great time there. Lots of room to roam and have fun. Highly recommend her services!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our dog was so well cared for, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved receiving daily photo updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!”

“So kind and a great communicator! Unexpectedly Mike had to deal with our dogs UTI and pick up a prescription after some frustration with pharmacies. We are so glad she was with you for that 9 days.”

“Kelly & Karen were awesome! Kelly made sure to send daily photos & was very responsive overall. They were also flexible with pick up/ drop off times. Maggie enjoyed her stay!”

Tenzen and his family were absolutely incredible in their care for our dog. They truly made him feel like family and allowed him to play and engaged with him in fun ways that didn’t allow him to miss home. Will be relying on them for all future dog sitting needs!

Joyce was very friendly and great with my pup. She did great at managing my pup’s medical needs. Joyce has a wonderful big fenced back yard for dogs to run around in, which was great for me since my dog can’t go on walks. She sent a few pictures and kept in touch while we were gone. She was very communicative and responsive through text. Will book with her again.

Wow! We feel so lucky to have found Erin! She took such great care of our Barbara Jean, who is sweet but older and a little high maintenance. Erin was undaunted and full of kindness and positivity! We so appreciate all the great communication, photos, updates and flexibility. 11/10 stars 💕

Jose took wonderful care of my pup Winwin, during his week-long stay. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt confident that Winwin was in great hands. Jose was kind, attentive, and made sure Winwin was comfortable and well cared for throughout his stay. I really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. When I picked Winwin up, he looked happy, healthy, and relaxed—it was clear he had been treated like part of the family. I highly recommend Jose to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. Thank you again for taking such great care of Winwin. We would definitely book with you again!

Another great staycation for Roscoe with Mallerlyn and Tyler. We are so glad to to have found them for Roscoe every time we travel. Roscoe is very comfortable and attached to them now. We received regular updates with photos and videos throughout his stay. Thank you very much for taking great care of him.
Ailyn was so patient and kind with Indi. It takes a little bit for my dog to come out of her shell and I could tell she was doing well with Ailyn. I loved all the pictures and reports during my trip. It was very helpful when I was missing Indi. I will be booking with Ailyn again.

Our dogs were well taken care of by Beth. She even took the time and energy to take one of my dogs to the vet for a skin issue (he had the issue before he stayed at her house) and made sure his leg was well taken care of with medication and his cone. Her dog was a gentle giant and everyone got along well. Communication was excellent and she was very detail oriented. We are very happy with their stay at Beth's and will definitely book again!

Millie had a great experience with Theresa and her pack. Fun to know she was with dogs and kids that enjoyed her company. Updates and photos assured us she was getting all the love, play and cuddles she needed while we were away. We’ll definitely leave our pup with Theresa and family again!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
