Dog lover with huge backyard!
Hello! We are Melodie and Ryan we've had our own dog for 12 years. She is very good with other dogs! We have a huge yard for play time and we have a spare room for extra dog beds. Both me and my partner are huge animal lovers! We will play fetch with them during the day and snuggle with them at night! We have different work hours so your dog will only be home alone for a few hours during the day. We are happy to cater to your dog's nutrition needs as well as any other special needs your pup may require! We love all animals and will treat your pup as part of our family. Your pup is welcome to sleep on our bed, couch, or dog bed, whatever makes them feel the most comfortable.

Our pups stay with Melodie and her family was amazing - we think they had more fun on their vacation than we did on ours! Melodie provided close and personal care for our pups and provided regular updates with pictures - their yard is a puppy playland and it was great knowing they were being socialized and exercised with human and dog friends. We know the pups are already looking forward to their next stay!
Our pup is anxious around new people, but Melodie and her family are wonderful and put us at ease. They were patient with Ruby and gave her lots of love during her stay! We will gladly book with them again in the future.
Melodie has watched our dog now multiple times, and every day we’re so impressed with the communication and how well he is looked after! We loved seeing the updates of Wilson playing with other dogs, and her reassurance that he was doing well while we were away. We will absolutely use Melodie again!
We love Melodie and her amazing family. Greta is always so exhausted from all the fun play time and the pictures Melodie shares throughout the stay make it clear Greta is part of their family while with them.

Home characteristics
A typical day
I live very close to downtown Edmonds and can take your dog to the beach. I also have a huge fenced backyard where I play fetch with my pup everyday. Our walks are usually around the neighborhood during the week but we often head up to the family cabin on Camano Island for some private beach time. I'm happy to do whatever your dog is used to so that they feel the most comfortable while away from home.
