Work-From-Home Dog & House Sitter!
Hello, neighbors! Recently lost my Golden and dog sitting to satisfy that dog fix. Primarily work from home, but out of the house teaching from 9am-12:30pm on weekdays during the school year. I will treat your pup like he/she is my own - regular walks, lots of pets, and copious amounts of love. Note that I watch only one dog at a time (or two, if it’s a sibling set), so your dog will get lots of intentional and kind care. By nature, I live a very active/outdoor lifestyle - happy to bring your dog along for the adventure(s) if that's important to you, too. Strong preference given to dogs who do well with other dogs and kids, particularly around the holidays. While I don’t have either myself, I often host others and anticipate both will be in/around during those special occasions.

Kari was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of Ophelia and made sure she got plenty of walks, fetch, playtime, and love. She was an excellent communicator and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. In every single picture, Ophelia looked so happy, relaxed, and content—it was clear she felt completely comfortable with Kari. I felt confident knowing Ophelia was in such caring and attentive hands. We would absolutely book with Kari again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pup!

Kari is awesome! She took such great care of our boy, giving him daily exercise, and even took him hiking! We received daily updates with pictures. Our boy had such a great time!
Kari was amazing! She has such a kind and positive presence and made me feel so confident leaving my pup with her for a week. Kari asked lots of great questions and was eager to understand Buoy’s care to make sure he had a great stay with her. Throughout the week, she sent daily photos and shared updates. My pup had an awesome week! They went on lots of walks and played fetch daily and she welcomed Buoy into her day to day. Thankful for Kari and her intentional care for my pup!
Kari was very understanding and accommodating when our family had to make a couple last-minute changes to our holiday travel plans due to family illness. She also took great care of our dog! And she was careful to communicate her own holiday plans with us before we booked, to ensure our dog would be comfortable with the arrangements. Thanks again, Kari!
Karin LOVED my dog- she has an amazing way of connecting with animals and people. My pup didn’t want to leave! I will use her for every trip!

Safety, trust & environment
Please ensure your dog is comfortable being left alone in the home for reasonable periods. Dogs with separation anxiety—excessive barking, scratching, whining, or destructive behaviors—are not a good fit for my home.
A typical day
Hiking in the woods or long walks, fetch in the neighborhood park....those are all apart of our regular routine around here. You know, all of the simplest and most beautiful aspects of life.
