Hi, I'm Leah, and as you might have guessed, I am a huge pet lover! I've been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by sweet furry friends my entire life - growing up with everything from dogs and cats to iguanas and birds - and I have adored every single one of them. As an adult, I raised an adorable corgi and currently share my home with two sweet black cats. I hold a very special place in my heart for senior pets and for those who need a little extra love & care. My beloved corgi, Bamboo, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge, had Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). Caring for him taught me so much about keeping pups cozy, happy, and comfortable. I truly miss him and miss having a dog in my life, so walking and looking after yours would bring me so much joy! I'm also a very proud cat mom to two precious black kitties who have taught me so much. My senior cat, Kanga, has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), which has made me well-versed in creating peaceful, stress-free environments for our feline friends. My other kitty, Kiwi, has asthma, so I'm completely comfortable administering medications, including inhalers and oral treatments. Since I'm self-employed as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible and I'd love to chat about how I can help. If you happen to be looking for a house-sitter, I would truly love to help you out. I'm available for quick stays of 2 to 4 days at a time. I'm happy to recommend Leah for your animal care or dog walking needs. Leah has cared for our dog Mojo, our house cats, barn kitties and horses. My pets are my precious babies, and I don't trust their care to just anyone. When Leah is caring for our animals, I am at ease and know they're in good hands. Leah is extremely responsible, dependable, and conscientious about communicating and following care directions. What stands out most is her genuine love and tenderness toward animals. She has a natural way and tunes into the personality of each animal. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and devoted to animals in her care.
Leah did an excellent job taking care of my two dogs for 3+ years. They both boarded with her for many weekends and a few week long periods, she also came over and walked them multiple times weekly. She did an amazing job with both of them! They fell in love with her and she texted me photos the entire time of all the fun they were having. They both had specific foods and she followed my directions perfectly on how to prep and give to each of them; including their supplements and my senior dog's medication. I loved when I would drop my dogs with her, they would be so excited to see her that they would forget about me leaving!! haha. That has never happened before when I used other pet caregivers, so I knew she was a keeper! I would absolutely recommend Leah to anyone in the Seattle area; we have missed her ever since we moved to the east coast. I wanted to write a testimonial because I know if other pet parents are looking for a sitter, they should really consider her, as she's trustworthy, on-time, a great communicator, very experienced (cats & dogs) gives updates and follows all directions given to her. She is fantastic! 100% recommend!
I have worked for veterinarians in several states and I have been a professional pet groomer for over 40 years. I met Leah in Myrtle Beach where we were neighbors for a few years. She helped me when I needed a pet sitter for my 2 cats and my elderly pointer mix. She took care of them when I had to go out of town or if I needed Freckles walked if I had a long day at work and couldn't get home to her. Leah is trustworthy, professional and has a very kind personality. My pets loved her. I always knew I could depend on her to be there for my pets and me. I would highly recommend her.

Leah has been amazing with our big dog and our 3 cats! The dog loves nice, long walks, and needs solid guidance for those walks as she can be a puller. Leah handles her with confidence and ease. Our cats are rascals, but Leah is great with corralling them, and has even convinced them to let her pet them (they are famously antisocial, so she’s really blown us away). Leah has a natural way with animals and you can tell that she truly loves and cares for your pets the way she would her own. We are so lucky to have found her - we’d never use anyone else! Since I work from home as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible! I can easily adjust my time to fit whatever works best for you and your pet. If I stay at your home, I'll be there to keep your furry friend company throughout most of the day since my work travels with me.
