“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. He has been incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful with my dog. He’s patient and kind, as she is a puppy with a loud bark! He is always on time and does a great job keeping me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m not home. What really stands out is how attentive he is to her individual needs: she has a very thick coat, and he goes out of his way to take her to shaded, forested areas so she can stay comfortable and cool during her walks.
