About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, so pet care has always been something I’m very comfortable with. I’m used to all the everyday stuff like feeding, walks, cleaning litter boxes, giving pets fresh water, playing with them, keeping them on their normal routine, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’ve also pet sat for many families over the years and have gotten great reviews from people who trusted me with their pets. I’ve cared for playful puppies, older dogs, shy cats, energetic pets, and pets who just need a little extra patience while they warm up. I understand that every animal has their own personality, so I pay attention to what they need and try to make their time with me as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I currently work part time, but I am always available in the afternoon on weekdays, and evenings on weekends! I am able to move my schedule around flexibly, so I will always be able to make time to care for your pet! I care for pets in my home the same way I care for my own. I have three cats and a dog, so I’m used to daily feeding routines, fresh water, cleaning up after them, playtime, cuddles, and making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I know every pet is different, so I try to follow whatever routine they’re already used to. If your pet likes to play, I’ll make sure they get attention and activity. If they’re more shy or nervous, I’ll give them space and let them warm up at their own pace. I keep things calm, clean, and cozy, and I’ll make sure your pet is looked after, loved on, and treated like part of the family while they’re with me.

About: What sets my apart is I’m a dog mama myself so I will take all the pictures and send all the updates! Which is something I love when sitters do for me! Pet care fits into my weekly routine because I work evenings so mornings and afternoons are prime time for a good dog walk. Also open to group walks and playtime with my dog and yours. About: Hello! I'm Annie. I grew up with a golden retriever, 2 labs and 3 cats, and as an adult I've looked after pets for family and friends. I'm new to Rover, but I'm flexible and enthusiastic and excited to meet some new 4-legged friends! When I'm not planning my next adventure, you can find me hiking in the mountains, running, cooking, looking for a decent flat white, seeing live music, doing yoga or cuddling my friends' dogs. My schedule is flexible, and I'm open to setting up something on a regular basis. I'm a project manager by trade and currently on a sabbatical and staying in Lake Forest Park in between travelling. In addition to walking, I am happy to stay in your home as a housesitter and care for your pets while you're away. I'm responsible and tidy and will leave things as I found them.

“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

About: Every dog is different with energy and awareness when I take my friend’s dog for a walk, she would need time to sniff around and enjoy the sunshine Right now, I am currently studying in Seattle for helping the family business so I am available from 10 AM to 4pm Monday through Friday I usually would go over to my friends house, play with their dog and feed them and give water and keep an eye on them if they need to go to the restroom or not
