“So grateful to have found Kaitlyn!! They were extremely responsive, took great care of our pup, and even went the extra mile to bring in packages left on our porch. Excited to use Kaitlyn as our dog walker moving forward!!”

About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. I currently have a 7 month old puppy and 2 cats who are a year and a half. We adopted all of them at about 7 weeks, so I have plenty of experience with pups and kittens, and my puppy is an eager playmate for your dog if they’d like that! I’ve also taken care of senior dogs and cats, so your little oldie is safe with me as well ◡̈ I’m eager to provide patient and attentive care to every animal regardless of their needs. I live a very active lifestyle and love running around with fur babies! I currently work part time so my schedule is pretty open. The main times I’m not available are when I work Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays 6am-2:30pm. I also have school Mondays 2pm-5pm and Thursdays 1pm-5pm. For house sitting services- I am happy to stay over at your home and care for your dog or cat in any way they need! Please check my availability to see times that I have work and school because I will have to be away from your home for those hours. For dog walking services- I am happy to walk your dog wherever would make you feel safest and most comfortable. If your dog likes dog parks, I have a few that I trust and take my dog to regularly. My apartment building also has a fenced, off-leash dog area that rarely has any other dogs in it and I’d be happy to run around with your dog there as well.
“Amanda is a reliable, communicative, and kind person. Blossom loves her and is ready for her walk as soon as she hears her voice! My Mom and Blossom are at Cogir Memory Care, and Amanda is respectful and comfortable in that setting. Amanda is wonderful and I would undoubtedly hire her again :)”

“Got lucky with Shannon, she lives in walking distance to my home and arrives promptly and with enthusiasm to walk Jake. She is flexible and keeps me informed if there are scheduling questions. She is always friendly and cheerful, happy to see not only Jake but my other dog as well, giving out pets to all. I love that she looks for great places to walk him and he comes home happy and rested afterwards. I know Jake is safe and happy with Shannon!”

“We recently hired Erica to care for my dog, Lexi, and cat, Kona, and we couldn't be more pleased. Erica was prompt, professional, and made sure to keep us updated with photos and messages throughout our time away. Lexi can be a bit shy, and Erica was patient with Lexi's idiosyncracicies. Kona is an "Invisible Kitty" and Erica made sure her litterbox tidy and her food properly portioned. When we returned, both pets were happy, healthy, and well-cared-for. We highly recommend Erica and will definitely use her services again in the future!”

“Kaylee was fabulous once again! She is communicative and flexible. I also love how detailed her check ins are, and she sends a lot of pictures, which makes this dog mom feel reassured ☺️ Thank you Kaylee!”

“Arielle is the best! She is very reliable and proactive in her communication with us. I love all of the pictures and updates she sends me when I’m at work! She goes above and beyond for our puppy and we always come home to a happy dog!”

“Barbara did a fantastic job walking our dig when we could not. She was on time, adapted to our complicated schedule and was very caring towards our dog. We would definitely recommend her.”

“I am so glad that I found David. He is professional, passionate, and amazing! My dog LOVES David and I do too. With David, I have peace of mind for my most important family member.”

“Big thanks to Tony for accommodating my same day request for a dog walk. Appreciate a great report with photos. I always feel confident that Winston is being well taken care of with Tony.”

About: Hi, my name is Carina. I’m a dog lover with 37 years of experience being a pet parent to four dogs -- one Irish Setter and three Labrador Retrievers. I am deeply passionate about all animals and their wellbeing. I believe in positive behavior reinforcement – rewards and praise for desired behavior – as it helps build a strong bond with your dog based on trust and respect. Over the years, I have enrolled my dogs in a wide range of training classes from puppy basics to becoming Good Canine Citizens. Dog behavior has always fascinated me – why do dogs do the things they do? It is a forever learning experience, that is for certain! I discovered that one of my Labs (Polo) had a natural gift for being a therapy dog. She had a calm demeanor, patience, confidence and a love for human contact. Polo went through formal training and was certified through Therapy Dogs International. We became a team and volunteered 2.5 years at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Scully-Welsh Cancer Center, offering comfort and smiles to patients and staff. For three years I volunteered at the Humane Society of Vero Beach, Florida, working with shelter dogs as a trainer, socializer and dog walker. I’m certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I’m the author of a reflection journal I created for dog lovers titled “Dogs Leave Paw Prints Everywhere, Especially Upon Your Heart: Forever Imprinted”. The purpose of the journal is for pet parents, families and children to record the special relationship they share with their dog through guided writing prompts. My dogs have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and I’m now in a place in life where I help pet parents take care of their beloved dogs while they’re away from home. I’m passionate about all dogs and the different stages of their lives. I have an especially soft heart for senior dogs. From my years of experience as a pet parent, I understand the concern we have for our dogs when we leave them in the care of others. I will care for your dog as I would my own. Dogs are individual beings with their own unique personalities. They have their likes and dislikes – just like we humans do. The more I know about your dog, the more prepared I’ll be to keep your pet happy and safe.

Star is truly amazing! She is so communicative, respectful, and reliable, and always follows all of my directions perfectly. She is absolutely wonderful with my dog, and I can tell how much care and attention she gives her every time she comes by. She truly goes above and beyond with all of the photos and thoughtful comments she sends after each walk. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Star more!

Kaitlyn was amazing with our two big dogs! They can definitely be strong pullers and aren’t always the easiest to walk, but she handled them with confidence, patience, and care. She was reliable, communicative, and made sure they got great walks every day. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend Kaitlyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable dog walker!

Alyssa has been waking Phoebe for a while now. She's always dependable, always leaves a detailed review, and is also very communicative. Phoebe is a bit wary of strangers, and Alyssa has been very patient with her and allowed her to get comfortable and then take out for a walk. Thanks a ton, Alyssa!!

Linh did an amazing job walking Rocky while I was away. She picked him up every day, took him for a full walk (often longer than scheduled), and treated him with so much care. My family felt very comfortable having her help. Truly grateful for her reliability and kindness
Hanyu was wonderful! She sent plenty of photo updates and left incredibly detailed, sweet notes each day. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Lyra was in excellent hands and truly enjoying her walks. I highly recommend Hanyu and will definitely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
