Hi there! I’m Emily—a lifelong animal lover, experienced pet caregiver, and Occupational Therapist with medical training from working in the ICU. I bring a unique blend of compassion, responsibility, and knowledge to every pet I care for. With years of experience in pet care, I understand dog behavior, nutrition, and basic training. I’m also trained in pet CPR and choking first aid. As a proud dog mom to an Australian Shepherd with medical needs, I’m confident managing medications, spotting subtle health changes, and providing extra TLC when it matters. I’m most available evenings and mainly weekends. Message me and we can work out a plan. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that fits your pet’s unique needs and routine. I always take time to understand your pet’s preferences, energy level, medical needs, and any special instructions you provide. In your home, I aim to maintain your pet’s familiar routine as closely as possible—this means consistent feeding times, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of affection. I also keep your space clean and secure, making sure your pet is happy and safe while you're away. With my medical background, experience with dogs who have special needs, and training in pet CPR and first aid, I’m confident in handling both routine and emergency situations with care and calm.

We have used Emily twice now for our kitties. This last time we were gone for a full 8 days. Emily went above and beyond, vacuuming just before our return so the litter tracking was completely cleaned up and it was so nice to come home to a fresh house. She took great care with the cats, one of which has a special diet and required a bit of patience while he eats. Highly recommend!
Good first rover experience! Emily was great with the dog and was able to calm my nerves by sending a picture of her l. I look forward to using her services in the future!
It was our first time using rover and we were nervous leaving our cats in the care of a stranger. Emily was fantastic and made sure to send photos which put us at ease. You can just tell she’s an animal person!
