Animals have always had a very special place in my heart. I’m a devoted dog mom to two wonderful dogs who are truly the loves of my life and part of my family. Because of that, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands. I want every pet parent to feel that their furry family member is safe, loved, and genuinely cared for while they’re away. I have a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and years of experience working with children with different needs. That experience has taught me to be patient, observant, gentle, and attentive to the little things, skills that naturally carry over into the way I care for animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and way of communicating. I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages and temperaments, including senior pets and those who need extra patience, medication, or care while recovering. I’m especially mindful of pets who may feel nervous or unsettled when their family is away, and I always give them the time and space they need to feel comfortable with me. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing, giving lots of attention and cuddles, or simply sitting quietly with them so they don’t feel alone. I’ll always treat your pet with the same kindness, patience, and love I would want someone to give my own. To me, they’re never “just pets.” They’re family. ❤️

I provide attentive, loving care during walks and drop-ins, keeping your pet’s routine consistent so they feel safe and happy. Walks are tailored to their age, energy, and personality, with a focus on safety, exercise, and positive interaction. During drop-ins, I make sure pets have fresh water, potty breaks, feeding if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. I also share updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

Hanyu was wonderful with Simba! She was very attentive, followed all of his instructions, and made me feel completely comfortable having her care for him. Simba seemed happy and well cared for, and I really appreciated the updates while she was with him. She’s reliable, kind, and clearly great with dogs. Hanyu was wonderful! She sent plenty of photo updates and left incredibly detailed, sweet notes each day. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Lyra was in excellent hands and truly enjoying her walks. I highly recommend Hanyu and will definitely be booking with her again!
Hanyu made an immediate connection with sparkles and was really great with her. She also was able to come in and make sure Sparkles had a treat and some water before leaving. Super grateful to have her as a care provider.

Schedule
Caring for pets is already built into my daily routine as a dog parent myself. I’m available 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM weekdays and 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM weekends, and I structure my schedule to provide reliable, attentive, and consistent care for every pet I work with.

- It’s very helpful to know your pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any triggers or fears. Please share feeding schedules, medications, allergies, training cues, and favorite activities or toys. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
