About: I’m a professional who works from home, and have flexibility in my day to come and drop in on your furry family members. I have had four Bernese mountain dogs, but I love all breeds and sizes. My “best cat friend” lived with me for 17 wonderful years, and I appreciate both lap cats and cats who prefer to love you from a distance. My top priority is making your pet feel safe and comfortable with me before we go and have some fun! I'm experienced with old and stubborn dogs, as well as young crazy puppies. I also have had cats for the majority of my life, ancient and young. I have been pet sitting for roughly 15 years, chiefly dogs and cats. I'm easy to get into contact with, and more than willing to give daily "pupdates" when I walk or watch your pet. I definitely live by the philosophy that our animal companions are family members, not just pets. Let me know if you have any questions! I work from home M-F, and generally have a flexible schedule. If your pet mostly just needs company, I’m happy to hang out with them and work from your home for a bit. Trust and safety are top priority—pets are our family members, and should be treated as such. I follow each owner's care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medication requirements, exercise routines, and any special needs. I use secure leashes, harnesses, and gates as appropriate to prevent escapes. I maintain a clean, calm, and low-stress environment, monitor pets closely for any changes in behavior or signs of illness, and communicate promptly with owners if I notice anything concerning. In the event of an emergency, I contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care according to their emergency instructions. Trust is built through reliability and transparency, so I provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication throughout the visit or stay. My goal is to ensure every pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own.

“Miranda is doing a wonderful job with Max! Her updates and pictures from each walk are a wonderful treat to receive while at work, and I am so appreciative that she does them. Since working with Miranda Max has also gotten a lot better walking on the leash. Thanks Miranda!”

“Allie was a wonderful dog walker! She was a great communicator and took some very cute pictures. She also was super kind when my dog was having some potty troubles, so she definitely goes above and beyond!”

“Sheena has been great and reliable! She walks both the dogs in the house and does them together something that can be a challenge for even me. Thank you Sheena!!”

About: I have the cutest dog in the world, next to yours, anyway. I have 25 years experience as a veterinary technician. I promise to spoil your baby like I do my own. I will let them jump on the furniture and throw the ball. I am pretty strict about no people food, but will give dog treats and some veggies, if allowed. Rudy loves other dogs and would enjoy having a friend around. I can also medicate if needed, including injections. I have some mobility issues, so can only keep small dogs. I have cats, but they will tolerate new dogs in the house. I am happy to help with basic training, as long as we agree on style. Looking forward to meeting your pet!!
“As always, Maren took such amazing care of my pup Kathleen on her walks. Her experience with reactive dogs sets Kathleen up for success. Couldn’t recommend her more. Thanks so much Maren!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kenmore
Lu was so gentle and caring for our 13yo Havanese dog who is completely blind , mostly deaf and his smell isn’t as good as it used to be. She would at times carry him back to the car because he was tired and ir hot. We had to adjust our walk times and she had no problems with last minute changes. She is very compassionate and caring. I would definitely recommend her in the future.

Anna took fantastic care of our pup, Ali, while we were out of town! She was incredibly responsive and even checked in with us when the air quality was terrible from the wildfires to make sure we were all on the same page about what was best for Ali. We felt so reassured knowing Ali was in such great hands. We’d rebook her again in a heartbeat!

Katelyn has been a great addition caring my dog and cat. I work 4 times a day and Im out of town more often than not. Katelyn is a great communicator, pays attention to details and most important of all, flexible and accommodating to last minute requests and changes. She genuinely cares for the pets she visits. Katelyn enjoys and shows great patience walking my 15 month old rumbunctious dutch shepherd mix dog. And Im sure my cat Jules get some love and affection when my dog gets pick up for a walk. Happy to have found you and thank you for taking care of Jules and Vincent.

Laurel helped me cover a phase when I was between dog walkers. My dog , AVA, is a shy type, but Laurel was very patient and got Ava out for longer walks that I expected, which was great ! Laurel sent videos and the report card of the walks was a nice feature. Ava warmed up to Laurel quickly, and I appreciated Laurel' flexibility scheduling and navigating the Rover site. Thank you for your services !

Blake has been absolutely amazing with our dog, Benson. From day one, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. Benson gets so excited every time Blake comes by, which says everything. Blake is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond to make sure Benson is well taken care of and happy. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Anyone who hires Blake will be incredibly happy, we can’t recommend him enough!

We’re so grateful she was able to help us out last minute with walking our dog Benson. She was incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and very reliable. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Benson was in good hands. We really appreciated her flexibility and kindness and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to help with their pup!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
