I work at an elementary school and I’m off work for the summer, so petsitting is my only priority! I am available for drop-in visits and walks every day of the week from mornings to nights (with exceptions, but if I am busy on a certain day I will remove it from my calendar).

I am patient, calm, and attentive to the needs of animals. I have many years of practice reading the body language of cats and dogs so I will be considerate of your pet’s boundaries if they are feeling shy. I will work hard to help your pet feel as happy and secure as possible in my presence, whether that’s through pets and cuddles, playing, or just softly talking to them so they can get used to hearing my voice. I am also confident in caring for pets other than cats and dogs (rodents, reptiles, fish, etc.) given that they have a detailed care plan. As a child/teen my family had fish, frogs, a parakeet, and even a hedgehog so I’m very comfortable looking after pets of all kinds. I would love the opportunity to meet your pet(s)!

I’ll be happy to engage in your pet’s favorite activities; walks, playing with toys, petting, brushing, performing tricks for treats, supervised out-of-enclosure time, or just hanging out! I will provide you with detailed notes and lots of pictures so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

I adore animals! I grew up with cats and dogs and have cared for them almost my entire life. I have experience petsitting for family, friends and neighbors as well as volunteering with cats at Whatcom Humane Society. I have a kitty of my own named Oswald who is very spoiled.

Anna has cared for our cat several times and we have always been very happy. Our cat takes a while to get comfortable with unfamiliar people and Anna has given him time and space to warm up. She has a calm, gentle demeanor that makes him feel safe. Our cat is on a prescription weight loss diet which Anna has been careful to follow. She has also managed to find ways to get him moving a bit!
I can't recommend Anna highly enough! She took amazing care of my cat while I was away for two weeks, and I had complete peace of mind the entire time. She was genuinely caring, attentive, and dependable. I've had the opportunity to see how dedicated she is when it comes to her passion for animals. She will go above and beyond to make sure every animal in her presence feels safe. Not only that, I truly appreciated the updates and the extra effort that was put into communication. I would absolutely trust her with my cat again and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive pet sitter.
