“Amanda has been great with our dog! She has been a strong communicator, responsive, and reliable which we so appreciate. We look forward to continuing to work with her!”

About: I’ve been deeply passionate about caring for animals of all shapes and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to drop in, feed, walk, and play with their fur babies because they know I bring the same level of love and responsibility that they do. Whether your dog is a high-energy puppy who needs to burn off some steam, a gentle senior who prefers slow walks and extra belly rubs, or a shy rescue who just needs a calm, patient presence, I adapt my care to fit their unique personality. I understand that your pets are family, and leaving them can be tough. That’s why I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and sending plenty of cute photo updates so you can have total peace of mind while you're away. I work part-time building my lash business, which leaves me with a very flexible schedule and plenty of open time to dedicate to your pets! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, allowing me to easily accommodate your preferred drop-in times. Whether your dog needs a mid-day walk and potty break, or your cat needs their routine feeding and playtime, my schedule allows me to be highly reliable, consistent, and there exactly when your pet needs me most. To me, your pets are family, and their safety and comfort mean everything during my visits. I have great, recent experience keeping dogs happy and secure on their walks, always making sure they are safely leashed and away from any hazards. When it comes to cats, I know how sneaky they can be, so I’m super careful around doors and always let them set the pace for cuddles or playtime. Every time I drop in, I’ll make sure food and water are topped off, the litter box is taken care of, and your fur baby gets plenty of love and attention!
About: Hi, I'm Courtney! I'm a lifelong animal lover and proud PNW resident based in Shoreline who truly believes pets are family, not just pets. I share my home with my two senior dogs, Philip and Lily, who have taught me more about patience, attentiveness, and unconditional love than anything else in the world. Caring for them (including managing their multiple daily medications) has made me a calm, experienced, and deeply attentive caregiver for animals of all ages and needs. I've spent many years walking, sitting for, and looking after dogs of all sizes, from small and scrappy to big and boisterous. I love being active and outdoors — hiking and exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer is one of my favorite things, especially with my dogs by my side. That means your pup will get a walker who is genuinely energized by every outing, rain or shine. Whether they need a brisk 30-minute walk or a longer 60-minute adventure through the neighborhood, I'm here for it. Cats are equally close to my heart. I had one of my own and have cared for many friends' and family's cats over the years, so your independent (or not-so-independent!) feline will be in very comfortable, familiar hands during drop-in visits. As a current student with a flexible schedule, I have real availability. I'm reliable, communicative, and will always send updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing. Your pet deserves someone who will love them like their own. That's exactly what I'm here to do. 🐾 Pet care is genuinely central to my daily routine — my own two dogs, Philip and Lily, need walks, attention, and medications multiple times a day, so I'm already in a consistent rhythm of animal care every single day. As a student with a flexible schedule, I have wide availability throughout the week and can accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon visits and walks. I'm not juggling a rigid 9-to-5, which means I can be reliably present for your pet when it matters most. Since I provide care in your pet's own home, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and as unstressed as possible — because familiar surroundings make all the difference, especially for senior pets or those with anxiety. I follow your routines closely, whether that's feeding schedules, medication timing, sleep spots, or preferred walking routes. I treat every home I enter with respect and care, and I make sure all doors, gates, and leashes are secure before any outing. I'm experienced with administering medications and will never skip or guess on a dose. You'll always get updates with photos so you can see for yourself that your pet is happy and well.

About: I thought I wasn't a pet guy until becoming step dad to two loafs and we are all very happy together their mom regularly comments on how close the cats have grown to me The cats jump on my chest in the morning because they know it's safe and that I am the food guy now. I take care of their clean up and keep them company on days off One of my favorite things to do for my cats is make a blanket fort for them on the bed so they have a nice warm spot to hide

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 6 years old. I grew up with dogs, a parrot, and a hamster, and I’ve helped friends and family with their pets for years. I can proudly say that I treat every pet like my own ❤️ I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, so your pet will get plenty of attention and won’t be left alone. I also accept short-notice and emergency bookings, since I understand plans can change unexpectedly. I’m especially good with shy, nervous, or active pets, and I have experience caring for senior dogs, always adjusting to each pet’s needs and routine. My home is calm, clean, and pet-free, which helps create a safe, low-stress environment. I pay close attention to details, follow instructions carefully, and can give medication or support pets with special needs. I also send regular updates so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. I’m currently an online college student studying Computer Science, so my schedule is very flexible and I spend most of my time at home. I enjoy walking outside, especially on sunny days, which is perfect to do with a pet. I’m also a runner, so if your pet enjoys running, I’d be happy to take them along with me. Keeping my space clean and safe is very important to me because it directly affects a pet’s health and comfort. I live in a peaceful neighborhood with nearby trails and parks, and I also have a yard where pets can spend time outside if walking isn’t possible. I currently don’t have any pets at home, so there won’t be any conflicts. I do live with my 3-year-old cousin, but she is very gentle and loving with animals and is always supervised by her parents.
“Dan has been super patient with my extremely shy rescue dog Cash and slowly built up trust with him, which is really hard for my pup, especially with men. I’d highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for a dog lover to take care of their furry family member.”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with a Lab, which shaped my early understanding of dog behavior and care. As an adult, I raised my own dog, Juniper, from a puppy. She’s a rescue, and working with her has given me hands-on experience with training, routines, and daily care. I also regularly foster dogs through various Seattle area rescues, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments. Because my own dog can be fearful at first, I understand the importance of moving at each dog’s pace, building trust, and creating a calm, positive environment. Juniper is friendly and does great with foster dogs, and my older cat tends to keep to himself when we have other pets or guests over. I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention throughout the day and won’t be left alone for more than three hours. I also have a crate available if that’s part of your dog’s routine. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, providing a safe and peaceful space for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. I treat every dog like my own and will make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and thoughtful care while you’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs, routine, and personality so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In my home: Dogs stay in a safe, calm environment with plenty of attention throughout the day since I work from home. I follow your dog’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. They will have access to a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, along with a cozy indoor space to relax. I can also accommodate crate training and any specific routines your dog is used to. In your home: When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and playtime. In all cases, I provide regular updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for.

“Wenlin has been great with my dog, Bobby. She’s thoughtful, communicative, and clearly attentive to his needs, which I really appreciate. She’s also been very understanding of Bobby’s quirks—like his refusal to go 💩 off-leash. 😊 They’re building a great connection, and I’ll definitely be booking her for future walks!”

“Kendra is truly amazing! Our boys absolutely adore her and are so happy when she’s around. We feel incredibly lucky to have her giving them that extra love, attention, and playtime. She’s been such a wonderful addition to their routine!”

“Hannah was amazing! Super responsive and flexible- my schedule changed last minute and she was so accommodating. She followed all instructions perfectly and made sure my dog got the love and exercise she needed. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Hannah again!”

“Jenifer is an absolutely wonderful dog-sitter. She is really great with my dog, who can get anxious when I am gone. And on top of working her magic with my pup, Jenifer has those professional skills that set her apart and above the rest: Very reliable, excellent communicator, and widely experienced. My travels went so much smoother because I knew Cora was in Jennifer's capable, loving hands!”

“Gabi has been SO great as a reliable, daily walker for George these past months. I’m gone at work all day as a teacher, and it’s so nice to know he’s taken care of! She is experienced with different dog behaviors, so she was able to confidently handle George’s leash reactivity and other antics. It was clear that she made his safety and happiness her priority. She even got him an awesome new toy as a going away gift! Cannot recommend enough:)”

About: I truly love dogs and I know that every pet has their own unique pace and personality. I’m naturally patient and detail-oriented, so I’m very comfortable following specific care routines or just providing a calm, kind presence for dogs who need a gentler touch. Whether we’re going for a steady walk around the neighborhood or just hanging out for some belly rubs, I treat every dog with the same care and protection I’d give my own family. As a stay at home mom, I have a lot of flexibility throughout the week to make pet care a seamless part of my day. Since I'm primarily based at home, I can easily work around your pet’s specific schedule - whether that’s a mid-day walk, an exact feeding time, or just providing some extra company. My routine is stable, which allows me to be very dependable and responsive, ensuring your dog gets the attention and consistent care they need while you're away. I focus exclusively on caring for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I’ve found this allows me to give your dog my full, undivided attention in the environment they know best. While my own dogs at home are great companions to each other, they prefer being the only dogs in their space, so I don’t host pets at my house. This works out perfectly because it means I come to you! Whether it's for walks or drop-in visits, my goal is to keep your pet’s routine exactly as it is, providing a calm and familiar experience while you’re out.

I have flexible availability throughout the day and on weekends, and I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s schedule. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon drop-ins, or evening snuggles, I’ll make sure your pet gets the care they need when they need it. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. I’ll always leave your space exactly as I found it—if not a little tidier! You can count on me to treat your pet like family and your home with respect.

About: To my amazing clients and potential new clients! I can officially offer dog grooming as well! I earned my dog grooming certification from Masers Dog Grooming in Kenmore, Washington Graduated in April 2024 I am currently working on earning my dog training certification. I will keep you all posted on those details! Due to the new respiratory virus that’s effecting and affecting our loyal companions I will be limiting the amount of pups in my care and will be requesting current vaccination and current flea prevention prior to boarding. I apologize for the inconvenience. “Life is what happens when you’re making other plans!” - one of my favorite quotes! I am a dog lover and animal advocate. Dogs have always been a part of my life and I feel that each one has an amazing soul. I was a dogsitter, housesitter and substitute teacher before I had my daughter. I just need to make sure that any dog I dog sit is child friendly and will get along with my rescue. My previous rescue, “Shabah” passed away in 2016. Our new rescue, “Todd” has the same spirit of our previous old dog! I have a split level home (unfinished basement). Our home is a comfortable and cozy home that's dog and kid friendly. We have a large fenced in backyard. Our neighborhood is a dog friendly, kid friendly, cat friendly, chicken friendly neighborhood. All our neighbors are respectful of each other and watch out for each other. About this sitter: I’m a survivor of many things and 52 years young ( I stopped counting). I have an amazing, smart, funny and talented tween who consistently keeps me on my toes. I earned my BA in Photojournalism and Film from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. I love to travel and before my kiddo was born, I had the opportunity to travel to many different countries. I’ve had the opportunity to attend school at the University of Wales and travel throughout GB, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and the UAE and taught briefly in Salalah, Oman. Dogs are honest, sincere and loving creatures with the right environment. I want to make sure that you know your dog will be safe and loved while staying with me and my family. Why I love dog sitting: I have loved dogs my entire life. I have always owned a dog. From our first family dog, “George” who used to pose for the camera every time I would take my camera out! He would literally pause and stay still for the camera! I’ve always had rescues and they have all been amazing mixed breed mutts! 🥰🐶 If anyone ever needed help with their dogs, whether it was dog sitting, dog walking or helping rescue a dog in need I was always there to help out. I just have a special place in my heart for dogs. Meet my pets I had a 16 year old border terrier mix, “Shabah.” She was wonderful with children and took care of her little 'sis' since the day I brought her home from the hospital. Shabah passed away in 2016 and we continue to miss her everyday. It wasn’t until Covid that I broke down and adopted another rescue, “Todd.” Todd has come a long way since the day I adopted him. He was rescued out of a home in Eastern, Washington. I have worked on training him but continue to work with him daily. I have looked into getting certified to become a dog trainer and use those skills with dog sitting. Our Home: My daughter, dog and I recently moved back to our old house in Shoreline. I am working on remodeling the inside of the house and working on the front and backyard. Since I am doing all of this on my own, it’s taken some time and a constant work in progress. Please excuse the mess during this “construction” time. Do not worry! There’s only weeds and brown grass and dirt for the dogs to play around in. The inside of our home have plenty of places for your dogs to sleep. The dogs will also let me know what other spots they like too! A couple dogs I watched recently loved snuggling up underneath our entertainment center area. I’ve since put a cozy bed in that spot for them! 💗 Our home is approximately 1800 square feet, we have an unfinished basement (I’m working on remodeling), a large kitchen, dining room,l nook, living room and t.v. room. We also have 3 small bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. The dogs are welcome anywhere they would like. I sanitize daily (dog and kid friendly sanitizers) and vacuum daily (as long as it doesn’t scare the dogs - otherwise it’s sweeping). It's important to me that my home remains a child friendly and dog friendly home. About my yard: I have a fenced in backyard. It's a durable backyard, meaning that it's o.k. that the grass gets torn up and if your dog is a digger. If you are someone who is trying to break the habit of your dog digging, just let me know. I can work on that while your dog is in my care. I will not leave the dogs unattended. With a fenced in backyard it’s easy to think they would be OK, my dog is a “Houdini,” so I make it a habit of never leaving any dogs unattended even with a fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication: Over the years I have administered shots and oral medication for my dogs and friends dogs and dogs I have dog sat for. I am available full time to dog sit and walk, your amazing pups! I do have a busy schedule with my kiddo and her after school activities. As long as you’re O.K. and the dogs are O.K. with car rides, we are all good! I won’t text and drive or take photos while driving! I have a fenced in backyard and brown grass (at the moment) for the dogs to play around in. It’s O.K. to mess up our yard since it’s a “work in progress” yard! I always monitor and supervise the dogs when they are playing in my front or backyard. My front yard is not fenced in yet, so the dogs would be on a leash at all times in the front yard. My schedule is quite chaotic and ever changing. Since I won’t leave the dogs unsupervised, they go with me. Each client I have had has been great with my busy schedule. I take the dogs with to drive my kiddo to school and take them with to pick her up. When she has after school activities - the dogs will come with me to drop her off and pick her up. I’ll take the pups on walks or small hikes or to a dog park with the owners permission. If the dogs are O.K. to be left alone for a short period of time - then I plan accordingly. I don’t like to leave dogs in kennels unless it’s absolutely necessary and becomes a safety issue. Otherwise, they are free to roam their new temporary environment. I can no longer house sit or dog sit in someone else’s home since I have a kiddo and my own rescue pup. In my home, I make sure the dogs are always safe and have a separate room for the dogs who are food aggressive during feeding time. If one dog plays too rough with the other dogs I will plan accordingly on which dogs are safest to play together. There have been times when I had to separate the play times between the dogs who played rough together, compared to the dogs who didn’t. It all worked out great. Dogs get to know each other’s play and personalities rather quickly . I make sure the dogs all have fresh water throughout the day. If it’s a dog that doesn’t monitor their own water intake, I will make sure to monitor the water intake in the evening. I need to sleep too and cannot be kept up throughout the night to let the dogs outside. I’ve had to do this for my own dog and he’s been fine. 😊🐾 Please Note - Due to the potentially fatal new respiratory virus that’s effecting and affecting our loyal companions I will need to request current vaccination records to be emailed and will have to postpone dog sitting and boarding until a vaccination is available to our loyal companions. I will reach out to Rover directly on how they will handle matters like these since this is something none of us could imagine would come up. Thank you and I appreciate you! Monday thru Friday the pups all come with to drop my kiddo off at school. After drop off I take the pups to a local park for a bit. Then back home to get my work done. The dogs all have free reign of the house. I can take them out in our backyard every couple of hours. At 2:30 on M/T/Th/F we head back out to pick my kiddo up from school. Then back home for more playtime. We have breakfast and dinner around 6 am and dinner between 4 and 5 pm - these times for breakfast and dinner are flexible. *please note* I request all dogs be treated with a flea and tick preventive prior to boarding. Our yard gets frequent visitors such as coyotes, rabbits and raccoons. All of these animals carry fleas. I treat my yard and home with Wondercide but cannot prevent fleas from getting on your dog(s). If your dogs are not on flea prevention - there are no guarantees. We will frequent dog parks and trails and fleas and ticks can live in these environments. I go by the “honor system” when people tell me their dogs are on flea prevention. One walk in the park in this area can cause and create an itchy dog. Please treat your dogs for fleas and ticks as a prevention. Thank you! This keeps my dog safe, my home safe and everyone else’s dogs safe. Please note that frontline and advantage Do Not work on the fleas in this area. The best treatment I found was Simparico Trio that kills the entire flea cycle! The flea prevention that works the best are prescriptions from a vet. Please make sure to get a flea and tick medication that kills the entire flea cycle! Some medications only kill the adults. I cannot begin to tell people how important this is. Fleas are super gross and wreck havoc on a home and animal. Thank you for keeping my home, my dog and especially your dog(s) safe! Thank you!

“Nora did a wonderful job walking my pup while I was out of town. My dog was immediately comfortable with her. Nora made sure my pup was well taken care of and left a little summary and pictures after each walk. I would book Nora again and would recommend her for your pet needs.”

Shoreline dog parents share their Rover experiences
My girls really enjoy their walks with Matthew and seem happy when I get home from work every day. They trust him and when they are happy with someone, I’m happy! My little girl has reduced kidney function and can’t always hold her bladder as long. But Matthew is consistent every day and I’ve noticed fewer late afternoon/evening (before I get home) accidents. She’s doing really well.

Wenlin saved the day! I had a last-minute emergency while traveling last week and Wenlin said she could come by and take my dog Bobby out for me. I was so relieved! Not only that, but she got him to #2 on a leash (which he does NOT normally do :). She's been such a great help!

Gabi was wonderful with our dog. She was punctual to the schedule and provided great updates and photos. Gabi is calm and kind with our sometimes reactive dog. We will definitely be booking her again! Thank you Gabi for removing the stress of worrying about our dog while we were away.

Kendra followed the instructions that I gave her perfectly! I felt super comfortable leaving a key for her to walk my dog, she sent me photos after the walk while I was at work which was super comforting. She even put eye drops in her eye. I would 100% book her again.
