About: I've had well trained dogs since I was around 7 years old, of all sizes. I've had, cockerspaniel, mutts, rottweiler, chihuahua, and a doberman. I'm well suited to handle dogs of all sizes, as long as they have good temperament. If you're curious about anything else, I'm happy to have an open conversation about what kind of care I'm able to provide! I work from home, so I'm generally around. the online ask isn't too big, so I have flexible time to be attentive to your pet's needs. "Care", i think, is probably pet dependent. I'm open to adapting to a pet's needs (within reason), and will do my best to mold to the care it's used to receiving from their own family.
“Juniper did a wonderful job with my dog Peach’s first walk! She took the time to meet with us a day beforehand to learn our routine and asked great questions. Her summary of the walk was well detailed, and she included some great pictures! Peach is nervous around strangers, and Juniper did a great job being aware and thoughtful of that. Overall Juniper was lovely to deal with and I feel great about trusting her regularly for walks with Peach.”

“Viktoriia was great at communicating with us about picking up and walking our dog Stella. She made Stella feel comfortable at our meet and greet, and came on time to take her out. Would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12! I absolutely adore all animals. I have experience raising a puppy and have taken care of pets for many neighbors and friends! I’ll be sure to send you lots of photos of your fur babies and support them in their stay however they need! I’m available for boarding after 5pm on Thursday till Monday evening! I can take them out as many times as they need and give them constant love and attention! Taking care of your fur baby will be my top priority! I have an apartment with no other pets, so your fur baby will be the focus of my attention! I keep my apartment very tidy, quiet, and safe for pets. My hope is to make them feel right at home and to make their time away from you as easy as possible.
“Roulan is so kind and caring. She went so far above and beyond to care for my dog and accommodate my crazy schedule. One time I forgot to leave my key out for her and she came all the way to my job across town so that my boy could get a walk. She has been patient with his stubbornness as well and never got frustrated always happy to take care of him. I’m so thankful for her and sad to be moving away and losing her as a rover. She’s THE BEST.”

About: I used to love raising chickens rabbits goats and turkeys, and always had dogs and cats at my side. Those days are behind me, so I'm here to help take care of yours now. I'm a grandma and watch my grandkids part time, so I have lots of time and energy for being with critters and caring for them. When I worked at a doggie daycare, I learned all about their needs and spent many of nights taking care of the boarding dogs and cats. I'm prepared to handle any medical needs, and love detailed instructions.
About: I’m a huge animal lover and a proud cat mom to a 4-year-old British Shorthair boy. I offer drop-in visits for cats and dogs. I started on Rover in 2025 and have already cared for 60+ cats, each with their own unique personality. I am great at following care instructions and handling cats with varying temperaments — from playful and social to shy and independent. I love bringing them new toys to play with and taking cute pictures of them! I’m patient, attentive, and always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’d be so happy to meet and care for your furry baby! 🐾 I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule, both weekdays and weekends! I would prefer the booking times to be between 9am and 9pm. I’d like to know about the personality of your pet before the visit and I follow instructions carefully. I will make sure they are well taken care of while you are away.

“Denys and Andrii were amazing on such short notice! I needed a dog walker quick due to an injury and they were available same day. They took multiple pictures of my dog on the walk and she came back very tired and happy.”

“Skyler has been flexible to come by and walk Zeus both times on short, same-day notice! She's a lifesaver and Zeus seems to love his time with Donny — I’ve definitely found our new regular for walks and if I ever need boarding/sitting services!”
About: I have always had a special ability to connect with animals; my partner calls me "Snow White" because animals flock to me wherever I go. I’ve never met an animal that I haven’t been able to befriend :) When I was five, I was walking our neighbors dogs for $1 while I patiently waited for my little sister to be old enough in my parents' opinion for us to pets of our own - so you could say I've been preparing for this opportunity for decades lol Eventually, I personally had ALL the pets - dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, mice, hamsters, among many other creatures and critters both big and small. I truly love animals! Currently, I have two 🐈⬛ black Bombay cats 🐈⬛ that I love more than words can express: o Holmes: 10-year-old mini panther who acts like a dog He sits / stays / comes / plays fetch on command, has an awful habit of eating rubber (requiring multiple emergency surgeries 😓), and loves always being on / next to me/my partner at all times o Watson, 1.5-year-old female kitten who lived on the streets for the first year of her life and still acts like a very adorable trash panda She loves cardboard > comfy beds, begging for human food > her automatic dispensed prescription food, playing with trash > normal toys, and meowing often and loudly o Since we rescued Watson, the kitties have lived in separate spaces while their friendship continues to grow (through scent swapping, sight swapping, controlled interactions). Holmes has understandably struggled to adapt after a decade of being an only child but he likes having his sister in his eye sight. Both cats are highly food motivated - they regularly eat from the same squeezem treat on opposite sides of the gate so we believe they will become even better buddies soon. Every day, I also support a number of wild animals with multiple bird feeders in my yard, including (over 20 different species of) birds, bunnies, mice, squirrels, and two ducks. Several birds (chickadees & dark headed juncos) even fly up to the porch when I step outside and whistle. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their fur babies for years. I am not only confident that I can take care of your pet(s), but that I also will treat them with the love and respect they deserve to ensure they have the best experience pawsible! I will make time for your pet(s)! I am an industrial-organizational psychologist (which is a fancy way of saying I apply science to improve work, workers, and the workplace) starting my own consulting organization. I make my own schedule so I can (likely) accommodate your requested timing. Both of our black voids are very protective of their space so I will likely take care of your pet inside your home / outside mine. When I am traveling, I love receiving proof of life photos of my kitties, so I will take multiple, quality photos of your pet(s) every day! Additionally, I will take diligent notes on your pets’ likes, dislikes, needs, & health in advance; I personally have a 12-page document outlining my pets’ care instructions that I share with sitters so you can trust that I will document everything you pet could need.
About: I've had multiple dogs growing up. In high school I had two jack russels, one was blind with diabetes and the other who was deaf. They needed a little more care than most dogs. I also have some experience with larger and more active dogs. I am a fairly active person who loves to be in nature and would love to have a furry friend to accompany.
About: My entire life I have been raised alongside animals of all kinds, so I have a genuine passion for their care. It was always a responsibility of mine to help take care of our own at home pets as a kid, but eventually I moved up to helping out other family members, friends of family, neighbors, friends of friends, etc. with their pets while they were out working, on vacation, or just out on the town for the night. This included making sure pet was safe, happy, fed, relieved of any potty breaks, had constant access to water, and was enriched with plenty of play time and some treats! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll be available Sun-Mon, & Wed-Thur between the times 9a-3p. I can make some exceptions here and there for different times during those days, just need more information of time and reason. I am able to come to you or vice versa, there is a perfectly quiet and spacious dog park right here in my neighborhood. I do have a Dachshund and cat at home. Kitty is very friendly and playful with dogs XS-L, the menace of the house is the Dachshund. He is very temperamental with other dogs, but has never been aggressive. If the circumstance is me coming to you, I will absolutely respect any rules of your home, just give me the run down and I will make sure to dot my I's and cross my T's!
“Tiffany is awesome! She was able to squeeze me in last minute which I was super appreciative of. Quick responder, very kind, and loved the updates and pics! 11/10 already planning on booking again!”

“Rachel has been wonderful with our dog, Hazel. She’s been taking Hazel on long weekday walks and has truly gone above and beyond. Hazel used to pull and get easily distracted on walks, which made them challenging, and Rachel immediately offered to work with her on loose-leash walking. In just a short time, Hazel has improved so much and is now walking calmly, paying attention, and doing great on leash. Rachel is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She sends thoughtful updates and the cutest photos, and Hazel absolutely loves her and gets so excited when she arrives. We’re so grateful to have found Rachel and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog walker.”

Tiffany was fantastic with our small dog, Penny! She was very communicative throughout the entire process providing us with photos and updates during the service. Penny has a unique set of personality quirks and Tiffany was well prepared to manage all of her needs. We look forward to booking with Tiffany again!

Broderik has been great for our 5‑year‑old lab, Shane — always on time, easy to communicate with during any schedule shifts, and attentive to the unique needs we occasionally have. Shane lights up when he sees him and comes home happy and energized. We really appreciate the reliability and care.

Rachel is communicative, reliable, friendly, and clearly cares a lot about our Poppy🥰. We get adorable photos, sweet recaps from their walks together, and she’s given us plenty of notice about vacations or anything that would interfere with our recurring walk schedule. Thank you for being such a great walker for us!

Denys & Andrii did an excellent job with our golden retriever. They were able to accommodate our request on short notice for 2 weeks of daily walks. We appreciated their consistency, professionalism, and touches of extra care - like refilling the water bowl and taking him fun places on their walks together. Would definitely book again.

Viktoriia took care of my dog and two kitties for over a full year while I lived in Redmond. Her and her husband were THE BEST! My little ones aren’t the easiest but I always came home to a clean apartment and very happy animals. They were kind, attentive, always prompt and I know I’m going to have the hardest time finding another sitter who will be as communicative and loving as they were. You don’t come across pet sitters who will make you want to cry with gratitude. It was truly a privilege to work with them 🙏🏾

Vera was punctual, kind, meticulous and the new best friend for our dog Max! She met up prior to walks to understand instructions and get familiar with Max, a 30lb hot dog/lab mix. She sends updates and pictures for the walk and sends calendar schedule to make sure we are aligned on dates. Vera is a very reliable and kind dog walker!

Ran is incredible with my puppy Lucy. She has worked with me to learn Lucy's commands, schedule, my preferences, and training goals. And ultimately I know Lucy is safe when she's in Ran's care. Also, she's super nice! My building managers all know her now and say she is always very professional. I'm very happy I found her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
