To say I love animals is an understatement! I have always had a special ability to connect with them and I have yet to meet an animal that I am not able to befriend :) Family, friends, and strangers have relied on me to care for their pets since I was five years old when I first started walking our neighbors’ dogs (while I patiently waited for my parents to decide that my little sister was old enough for pets of our own) Eventually, I personally had ALL the pets – dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, mice, hamsters, among many others both big and small. In addition to my corporate career as a workplace psychologist and CEO of my own consulting and coaching company, I work part-time for the City of Redmond as an equestrian and farm specialist– teaching riding lessons and caring for 43 farm animals across nine different species. I have two black Bombay cats that I love more than words can express. - Holmes is an 11-year-old super social mini panther who acts like a dog (he sits, stays, comes, answers the door, and plays fetch on command) and loves to snuggle on people. - Watson is our 2-year-old special, easily overstimulated vocal kitty. W lived on the streets of LA for over a year before we found her and still acts like an adorable trash panda who loves cardboard over comfy beds, begging for food over her automatic prescription food, and playing with trash over normal toys. - Since Watson arrived, the kitties have predominantly lived in separate spaces while their friendship continues to grow (through scent swapping, site swapping, controlled interactions). Holmes has understandably struggled to adapt after a decade of being an only child but they get along well over wet food/treats. I am not only confident that I can care for your pet(s) but will treat them with the love and respect they deserve to ensure they have the best experience pawsible!

Safety, trust & environment
Both of our cats are very protective of their space so I will take care of your pet inside your home / outside mine. When I am traveling, I love receiving proof of life photos of my kitties, so I will take multiple, quality photos of your pet(s) every day! Additionally, I will take diligent notes on your pets’ likes, dislikes, needs, & health in advance; I personally have a 12-page document outlining my pets’ care instructions that I share with sitters so you can trust that I will document everything you pet could need.

Ashley has been incredibly reliable, communicative, and caring. I always appreciate the updates and photos, and it’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with my dog. Knowing my pup is in such good hands gives me real peace of mind away from home!
Ashley did a great job taking care of our spicy kitty. We greatly appreciated her conscientiousness and patience with our cat who can be difficult to handle. She left detailed updates and photos to put our minds at ease. We would love to have Ashley cat sit for us again.
Did a great job introducing herself to my shy cat and gave him plenty of attention after he quickly warmed up to her! I could tell from the pictures she sent that my cat was loving her company.

Schedule
I currently run my own consulting and coaching company so my schedule is flexible most days. Additionally, I teach horseback riding lessons part-time during the week and weekend. On days at the farm, I am only available very early in the morning or late afternoon/evenings.
