“Andi was extremely responsive and easy to work with for my last minute dog walking booking! Andi was great with my dog Maddy, and I would definitely book with Andi again.”

“Rachel has been wonderful with our dog, Hazel. She’s been taking Hazel on long weekday walks and has truly gone above and beyond. Hazel used to pull and get easily distracted on walks, which made them challenging, and Rachel immediately offered to work with her on loose-leash walking. In just a short time, Hazel has improved so much and is now walking calmly, paying attention, and doing great on leash. Rachel is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She sends thoughtful updates and the cutest photos, and Hazel absolutely loves her and gets so excited when she arrives. We’re so grateful to have found Rachel and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog walker.”

I am a retiree, and although I sometimes work part-time, I have plenty of free time. I enjoy spending it outdoors with pets—feeding them and playing with them. I love animals. About: I’ve cared for dogs for years and have experience with both large and small breeds. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’m a student-athlete, so staying active and responsible is already part of my daily routine. I lift every weekday morning from 9–10am and practice from 11am–12pm, which still gives me plenty of time during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends to care for your pets. I’m used to balancing a busy schedule while caring for my own dogs, so your pets will always get attention, exercise, and reliable care. I’ve grown up around dogs and currently care for two Saint Bernards, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds and dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also helped my mom dog sit Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and smaller dogs, so I’m experienced with a wide range of sizes and temperaments. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, exercised, and cared for while keeping owners updated and following any routines or instructions closely.

I can make some exceptions here and there for different times during those days, just need more information of time and reason. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
