I am a college-freshman at NYU who’s looking to make some extra money whilst I’m on break back home, and what better way to make money than to take care of your dog! About: I grew up with pets of all kinds, I have been a veterinary assistant for 3 years and have been pack-hiking with dogs full time for about 8 months now. I should be regularly available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings, and the occasional weekend. Those mornings and the other days, I work full time with dogs, either pack-hiking or doggy daycare. I do not do sitting, I only do walking as I have pets at home that are my responsibility and I live with other people.
About: I have been around many animals since I was a little kid. I frequently help take care of my neighbors and friend’s pets as well! I currently do not have a structured schedule going on, so I am pretty available! Though, I would prefer not being out past 7pm unless it is an overnight. This could be negotiated if necessary! About: Hi there! As a lifelong dog person, I have a lot of experience - I have cared for dogs weighing 8 to over 100lbs, and from 6 week old puppies to seniors. I am experienced in dogs with complex situations such as reactivity, fearfulness & timidness, and significant physical impairments. Currently, I own two rescue dogs - a 3 year old female German shepherd/malinois mix, and a 2 year old male Aussie who was born deaf & blind. So when I say the “hard to handle” pups are my speciality, I mean it! I would be happy to take your dog on a walk or local hike, to play outside with them, to work/train (my GSD/malinois girl requires regular scent work, agility, and intense variations on fetch to stay sane), or to simply give them affection. I don’t at all mind working with dogs that take time to win over, or that need extra TLC. All dogs are good dogs, and I can promise you that to me, they are all precious cargo - and will be handled as such in my care. I am a music teacher, and primarily work afternoons & evenings - so earlier in the day I have free time. I am also the mother of a young child, so am unavailable on weekends when he is home from school. I will adhere to strictly to instructions given (ie, your dog is crated or not, food allergies or sensitives to avoid, fears they have or the best ways to make them feel safe) and make sure above all else, they know I am someone they can look forward to seeing.
