“Kyle & Marissa are the best! Super easy to communicate and work with, and really welcoming and awesome with our pups. Moose & Bunny played, took a walk, and came home super tired, which is always what you hope for. We got updates and photos, and felt totally comfortable leaving them. This is a great family, and we'll definitely book with them again. Fun fact: they even sent us home with a goodie bag from their apple trees and garden! Thanks, y'all :)”

“Candra is attentive, experienced, and made sure my dog received all the love, exercise, and mental stimulation she needed. Her sweet kids and husband were so involved and gentle, creating a warm, loving environment where my dog felt loved. It is clear she genuinely cares about the animals in her care and goes above and beyond to make sure every need is met. She knew how to handle my dog, who has separation anxiety and doesn’t calm easily in new places. Candra has calm and kind energy, and has great discretion. And her house and backyard are perfect for dogs. I couldn’t recommend more, Candra will be able to identify your dogs needs and make sure you get the best experience possible!”

“Tracy really helped us out by accommodating our dog who was still healing from surgery. My husband also had long hours for work while the rest of the family was away. We are very happy to have found you. Thanks for taking such great care of our dogs!”

About: I have owned and cared for pets for all of my life but it’s been a big part of my life over the last several years. Friends have dropped off pets at my home on 1.5acres, close into Woodinville. My own pets are very, happily socialized to enjoy visiting pets. There is a large fenced, fully landscaped yard to wander and always attention, pat’s and treats to go around. I will be working part time so no more than a few hrs away from the home a couple days a week. Fun times ahead! I have a large, fenced yard and a monitored doggy door to allow for potty brakes and free roaming. My dogs are well socialized and a little on the older side so tend to just hang out during the day.
“I have started to leave Mia with Xi for last 4 weeks. Honestly my experience with Rover has not been great. Xi completely changed the narrative for me . She is reliable, honest, kind and loving. She is awesome . She shares the pictures frequently, keeps providing the update, works with Mia to keep her calm. We really appreciate Xi.”

“Aina was great with Duke. He doesn’t like being away from us and being with new people, but she was able to make him like her and her daughter. So cute! Would definitely recommend her as sitter 💓”

“Tunyi was wonderful! She sent me updates on how my pup was doing! She made the process very easy. Thanks Tunyi! Definitely will be asking again!”

“Amy and her family took great care of my 9 months old Hugo. Hugo came back happily tired from playing all day. It must have been a great experience for Hugo to spend a day with a family with dog friends to play with. It was our first time having Hugo stay with Amy & Shelby home and I felt very safe and comfortable. I would be a repeat client for sure! Thank you very much!”

“I was in Atlanta for the weekend and Luis watched my excitable dog for 12 hours on short notice. He is great. He went above and beyond and I would recommend him to anyone.”

“Our pups had a blast with Yen and Terry during daycare! We received multiple pictures and updates throughout the day and it looks like our dogs were having so much fun running around with other pup friends! They were well taken care of with Yen and Terry”

About: 🐶About Me & My Experience with Dogs Hi! I have over 16 years of experience caring for dogs, specializing in small and medium pups only, so your dog will always be in a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. I’ve lived with dogs since I was a child and have always considered them part of my family. I’ve cared for a Poodle, a Chihuahua, and a Jindo-Retriever mix, and I currently have a small Chihuahua who is very precious to me. I moved to the U.S. from Korea with my dog, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pet. 💙 How I Care for Dogs I focus on providing a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for small or medium dogs I treat every dog like family and provide gentle, attentive care—just like caring for a baby. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs so they can feel relaxed and at home. 🐶 Small or medium dogs only (up to 19lbs) 🏡 Loving, clean, and cozy home environment 🫶🏻Care tailored to your dog’s routine and needs 📸 Daily photo & video updates for peace of mind 🫐🍎organic blueberries and apples as treats 🐾 Paw pads gently cleaned after every walk My goal is to make sure your dog feels loved, secure, and happy while you’re away. 🩵 Love, Attention & Cleanliness I treat every dog with love and careful attention, while also maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. My goal is to create a clean, safe, and comfortable space where dogs feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for. 👟 We don’t wear shoes indoors, so your dog stays in a clean space at all times. 🐾 After walks, I gently wipe your dog’s paws with pet-safe wipes before coming inside. 🧼 Hygiene Care I pay close attention to bowl hygiene and water quality, as bacteria can quickly build up from saliva and food residue. Poor hygiene can lead to digestive issues, skin irritation (especially around the mouth and chin), and reduced water intake. • Food bowls are washed after every meal • Water bowls are cleaned daily before bedtime • Fresh water is provided multiple times throughout the day I believe proper hygiene is essential for a dog’s health, comfort, and overall well-being. 💧 Fresh, filtered water is provided regularly. During colder seasons, I prepare lukewarm water for extra comfort. 🥣 Water and food bowls are cleaned after every meal using baby dish soap, a distilled vinegar, or baking soda. ✨ Floors and surfaces are cleaned regularly, and I use a chemical-free steam cleaner along with carefully selected, low-toxin products like Attitude and Better Life to create a safe and hygienic environment for dogs. I care for every dog with the same level of love, attention, and cleanliness that I give to my own dog. I’m available for boarding and daycare and try to be as flexible as possible. Feel free to reach out anytime—I’d love to learn more about your dog! I’d love to do a meet & greet first to make sure your pup feels comfortable🫶🏻 🐾 One Dog Per Booking I’m available for both boarding and daycare. Since I have my own dog at home, I only accept one booking at a time and care for one small or medium dogs (up to 20lbs) to ensure a calm and safe environment. When I lived in Korea, I cared for family dogs for over the years, so I’m very comfortable and experienced with dog care. Your pup will receive my full attention, a consistent routine, and plenty of love. 📍 My Space I live in a cozy apartment that’s well-suited for small dogs. To help protect their joints and prevent slipping, the living room is covered with baby play mats. There are designated potty areas and a clean artificial turf space behind the building for easy potty breaks. Nearby Woodin Creek Park is just a 5 minute walk away—perfect for daily walks, light runs, and extra playtime.
“Fiona is great with Pazu! He’s always a little anxious by nature when we leave him, but he seems to settle in great at Fiona’s and we know he’s in good hands! Thanks always!”

About: I have a 5 years old daughter and she loves dogs but unfortunately we can have our own now so we are looking to take care other puppies till we are ready to buy our own. I had a poodle doggie for a long time till i moved to Ireland. I wish I can pet care during some weekends as I work in Seattle 3 days a week. I can accommodate my week days if care is needed for 5 consecutive days including Saturday and Sundays. I will take care at home. I’m looking small dog and that loves small kids. Gia my daughter is so sweet and delicate with dogs
“This was my second time booking with Karina. Bunny had a fun time with her. She is great at taking him on walks and sending updates. Appreciate it🙃”

“Melodie was wonderful with Pepper! She kept us updated throughout the day and made us feel completely at ease. Pepper had so much fun and got lots of playtime and attention. We’d absolutely trust Melodie with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter. The best review Pepper can give is that she came home happy, exhausted, and slept the rest of the evening!”

“Ammu(puppy, mixed - 6.5 months) had a wonderful time at Jessica's place. Jessica was very considerate about the fact that this was Ammu's first time in any day care outside the house, and took a lot of care to make her feel comfortable. Jessica's dogs were super gentle and welcoming right from the start, immediately putting ammu (and us!) at ease:) it was great to receive pictures during the day of ammu exploring the fun backyard space. Thanks a lot to Jessica for taking care of our baby girl!”

“Rachel and her pup Bruce is awesome! We did a daycare with them and looks like Cai had so much fun playing with Bruce while Rachel took great care of him. She was gentle professional and courteous and I would recommend her as a host.”

Karen is the best! We have had nothing but the best experience with her. She takes extremely good care of our pup while we are at work and when we get her home she is happy, tired and well exercised. Karen has good communication, very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend her.

John is a dog lover and took very good care of Rory, a 3-year-old goldendoodle. This was Rory's first time away from home staying in an unknown home with other doggies, so I know he took extra care and reassurance. John took wonderful care of Rory and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you, John.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
